Chapter 31 - I want Dad

Fanny opened the door of Crystal's room and saw Crystal with both her big eyes staring at her, beside her was a shard of glass.

Fanny let out a breath, not knowing if seeing her daughter was okay, or because she could once again shy away from Nathan's proposal, but actually her heart really felt bad.

Her four-year-old daughter lowered her head, in a good manner admitting her mistake: “mami, sorry ya.”

Fanny smiled, she gently hugged her beloved daughter into her arms, her fragrant and soft body made Fanny instantly feel calm.

“It's okay, as long as Crystal is fine, next time should be more careful huh?”

Crystal repeatedly nodded her head, her big, bright glass-like eyes showing her happy feelings: “Mami, Crystal miss mami!”

After hearing these words, Fanny's heart became melted, her departure to Milan this time, making him and his daughter did not meet for a month. After Crystal finished expressing her longing, she slowly leaned back in Fanny's arms, the quiet room wrapped in a warm atmosphere.

Fanny slowly stroked her daughter's fine hair, gently saying: “Crystal, why do you want to go on stage?”

“I want papa.”

His hand instantly stopped stroking, within his mind appeared the shadowy figure of the man, and made his heart suddenly feel such a sharp heartache.

While Crystal was two years old, Fanny told Crystal that Nathan Yan was not her father, but she did not tell him who her real father was, perhaps because of the impact of the overseas environment, Crystal became a faster adult, from then on she never discussed this again.

Fanny instead of never intending to tell Crystal, she knows her daughter is so understanding, and can certainly understand her, but for a little child it is too cruel for her.

So should I tell Crystal that her father told people to kill her mother? or should I say that his presence is not anticipated, his birth is not out of love but hatred?

Four years ago Fanny thought she had no chance of becoming a mother anymore, but Crystal's presence made Fanny regain her desperate life spirit.

Finally Fanny said: “Crystal, do you like daddy?” daddy, it's Nathan.

Crystal unhesitatingly replied, in her loud and clear soft voice she said: “suka, Crystal likes mami and daddy the most!”

Fanny looked at her soft and innocent little face as she said: "So mommy and daddy are getting married, let daddy be Crystal's dad?"

As soon as the words came out, his heart felt so calm, he hesitated one last time when he heard a sentence from his daughter who happily and carefully asked him: "What is right?" after that, the doubt disappeared.

After a good thought, Fanny touched Crystal's nose, while laughing she said: “Certainly can.”

Crystal cheered with excitement, and she went back into Fanny's arms again, in the little boy's heart thinking: on his birthday he wants to wear clothes designed by his mother and appear on television, maybe the father he has never met can be seen on television, he wants a father, he wants a father, but he'd rather see mommy and daddy happy!

Fanny holds her daughter downstairs, then sees Nathan as if nothing had happened, spontaneously as usual inviting them both to eat.

His caring nature never changes.

Fanny sees Nathan take Crystal from his arms, Crystal so familiarly hugs Nathan's neck: “daddy, which sweet sour pork ribs does Crystal like? ”

With great affection Nathan said: “Where might daddy forget Crystal's favorite food?”

This kind of atmosphere, wasn't that what Fanny had yearned for in her life, there was a sound of Crystal laughing, was enough for her.

Fanny calling: “Nathan”, her eyes so sure.

“Wait after Crystal's birthday, I'll give you the answer.”
