Ch.7 - Crazy Survival

One day passed since the fight against the Armoroed Golem.

Although at that time ZZ threw Zaizen's body into the bottom of the abyss, Zaizen had gotten lucky because he was stuck on the side of the abyss.

Now, Zaizen has finally regained consciousness.

"What happened to me?" Zaizen thought for a moment until he finally remembered something.

"That moment...Aarrggghhh!" Zaizen shouted, He was surprised after realizing that one of his legs had been broken.

"For that son of a bitch, my feet!" A moment after cursing in annoyance, Zaizen shouted again.

"HELP ME!!!"

Zaizen had yelled a few times as loudly but, he did not get any response even, his throat became hoarse from yelling too often.

When Zaizen tried to move, the pain suddenly appeared as shockingly like an explosive thunderstorm.

Anyone who feels it, they will whine like a newborn but Zaizen tries to hold on to it until he gets used to the pain.

Now, the rest of his energy he collected to buy time so that the angel of death did not pick him up too early–other than that, his life limit was also left a few % only.

"I can't die here, as long as that bastard is alive, innocent people will be at risk of his life." Zaizen spoke in a stark tone accompanied by a face full of emotions overflowing.

For Zaizen, overcoming hunger is more difficult than overcoming the painful phase of remembering, he can only survive a few days without eating and drinking.

"If only I still had some food in my Inventory, I could have lasted a little longer."

Once again Zaizen's stomach rang, this time sounding louder than before.

However, the actions he took actually made things worse.

Zaizen eventually lost consciousness for a while after doing the crazy thing.

Time went by so fast that Zaizen finally regained consciousness.

When he slowly opened his eyes Zaizen was surprised. He saw the shadow of the angel of death before him.

Panicked, Zaizen widened his eyes to make sure that what he saw was not reality but an illusion.

"Must. What was that?"

Right, it's an illusion. An illusion that will appear to anyone who is close to death.

"Aarrggghhhh!" A short while after, Zaizen again felt a tremendous pain as if, the pain had exceeded the limits of his endurance.

"Will the process of death be this painful? If people knew that the process of death would be this painful, perhaps suicides on earth would drop drastically." A moment after Zaizen spoke, a holographic screen appeared near his head.

Immediately, Zaizen accessed his Inventory however, all he had was an empty potion bottle, in other words, Zaizen had nothing to eat.

"I thought I was destined to die rotting here." Zaizen tried to think hard, he did not give up at the end of his life, even something flashed through his mind.

"At a time like this, I even remembered a comic that was quite famous in my world. Yes, the comic tells a story of the survival struggle experienced by two humans trapped on an empty island. If it's not wrong, they eat one of their legs to survive. Shit, would I do something like that too?"

Five minutes passed.

Zaizen swallowed his saliva, he himself did not expect that he would start a crazy thing that only exists in comic stories that he had seen.

Because of what he saw, Zaizen tried to cut off his leg.

Slowly but surely, Zaizen opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was not a cut off his leg but rather, a hologram screen that had long appeared when he lost consciousness.

Immediately, Zaizen's eyes widened as if in disbelief.

"What, a Regeneration Skill?"

Zaizen surprised. However, his shock did not stop there but rather, he was shocked again with his limbs intact again.

"My legs are Back!!!"

Eagerly, Zaizen stood up. Zaizen thought that the events he was going through right now were a blessing from Heaven, but he was wrong. Because Zaizen did not realize that his new abilities would lead him to suffering like Hell.

Zaizen's stomach rang again, even though he had obtained the Regeneration Skill still, the skill could not cure the effects of his hunger because, as it was, he could not heal his hunger, Zaizen also needed a Nutrient that would later be extracted within his body to become Mana and Mana was used to activate both Magic and Skill. That's the natural cycle.

"Even though I have obtained a pretty good Skill I think it's useless, because this Skill is useless to help hold back my hunger." Zaizen spoke in a lethargic tone as if, the spirit he had just had instantly vanished out of nowhere.

"..." - ".Zaizen thought again. A moment later, Zaizen realized that he was being played by the Dungeon.

"Wait..wait.... THAT'S RIGHT!!!" Zaizen cursed in annoyance.

In his mind, Zaizen only had one way of surviving where he was trapped at the moment.

Yes, it is a way of survival that is beyond human reason and logic.

Whatisit? By eating his own body parts then waiting for his body to regenerate again and Zaizen had to repeat it many times to be able to survive longer.

"There was no other choice." as soon as Zaizen spoke, he ate his own leg which he had cut off before.
