Chapter 9's

One week later

Maru and Yuri's relationship grew closer and it made Han feel dislike. Because Han was convinced that Maru only wanted to take advantage of the innocence of her stepson.

"Darling, can I talk to you about something?" Han asked Mr. Troy who was sitting on the sofa with him.

"Of course you can, baby... What, you want to talk? Just tell me I'll listen" replied Mr. Troy as he rubbed Han's hair gently.

Han was happy because he was sure that her old husband would grant all her wishes. He wants to ask Mr. Troy to forbid Maru from connecting with Yuri again. Because he does not want Maru to belong to his stepson, Yuri.

"Honey, I feel that Maru only wants your treasure. And she doesn't sincerely love Yuri...,"

Mr. Troy frowned, astonished that his wife had asked for such a thing. However, Mr. Troy was very happy because his wife was very attentive with his only daughter.

"Why, then, baby?" Ask Mr. Troy.

"I feel like Maru only wants your treasures" Han replied.

Mr. Troy was silent for a moment, it is true what his wife said. Maru is just an ordinary man not from the rich. But, Mr. Troy felt that his daughter also loved the young man named Maru very much.

"Darling, I feel so too! However, we must not interfere in Yuri's affairs. She's an adult so, let her judge Maru what she looks like?" Mr. Troy gave understanding to his beloved wife.

Han snorted in annoyance, as it seemed like she had already failed to influence her old-fashioned husband.

'Damn, why isn't he affected? Not very useful, ' Inner Han who continues to curse her husband.

"But baby, I don't like it if there's a guy who just wants to hurt Yuri. Although Yuri is my stepdaughter, but I already consider her like my own biological child," Han tried to influence her husband again.

Without Han realizing it, Yuri had heard the conversation between Han and her father. Yuri wondered why her stepmother was so intent on separating between herself and Maru.

"Actually, what is Maru's relationship with that attached grandmother? Is there something they're hiding and I don't know it?" lirih Yuri who felt strange with her stepmother.

Yuri is curious about Maru and Han's relationship. However, he has not been able to confirm because he has not found an accurate evidence.

Elsewhere, Maru had just finished cleaning the restaurant because Maru did not yet have any employees to help her. So, now Maru is helped by her friend, Gui, who has continued to accompany Maru.

"Gui, we're going to take a day off tomorrow. Because this week we have not had a holiday at all..," said Maru.

"No, I'll just open a restaurant. If you want a vacation with Yuri, it doesn't matter! You know for yourself that I'm the laziest when asked to take a vacation" said Gui who did not like to go for a walk because for him it was a waste.

"Alright, but you're not having any hassles keeping the restaurant alone." asked Maru.

"Of course not! Therefore I tell you to just go for a walk, let the brain fresh," replied Gui laughing out loud.

Maru just turned her lazy eyeball because she heard the words of her best friend who did not have the moral.

Gui nodded, then they immediately went home after cleaning up their work. However, while on the way home Maru accidentally saw a figure that she was very familiar with, and that figure was Yuri who was sitting at the busway stop.

"Stop, Gui!" said Maru who suddenly made Gui surprised.

"Gosh, we almost hit the sidewalk! What the hell is it?" ask Gui who is still clinging.

"Did you see that girl sitting at the busway stop?" Maru pointed towards the stop.

Gui followed Maru's index finger, and it was true that Gui also saw a veiled woman sitting at the stop alone.

"You're right! What's Yuri doing at the stop alone...,"

"You'll catch up, who knows Yuri came home from her friend's house?" Gui tells Maru to catch up with Yuri.

Maru nodded, and she got out of her car and walked towards the stop where Yuri was sitting alone.

"Yuri!" Maru called out to Yuri.

Yuri looks up to her surprise because she meets Maru when she wants to meet her best friend Riu. And Yuri is confused as to what to answer if Maru asks about her who is now at the busway stop.

"Ma-Mara...,"

"What are you doing here alone?" ask Maru.

"Em, that's me meeting my old friend. I just didn't bring my own car, so I just wanted to take the busway." Yuri replied nervously.

"God this is you, I'm glad I saw you. Yeah, I'm taking you home instead of you waiting for the old busway,"

Yuri was wide-eyed, after hearing the words from Maru. Now he feels confused because if he refuses Maru's invitation, Maru will be suspicious and it is certain Maru will be jealous because she will meet Riu. If Yuri accepts Maru's invitation, what about Riu who is waiting for her at the cafe.

So because it was not good to refuse Maru's invitation, Yuri finally wanted to be escorted home with Maru. Maru quickly took Yuri by the hand and walked towards her car. After arriving, Maru opens the car door for Yuri and after that Maru gets into her car.

"Hi, Brother Gui!" Yuri greeted Gui.

"Hi too, my dear sister. Why are you having a stop alone? That's very dangerous for a woman...,"

"I've seen my friend, brother. Then I don't take the car so I want to take the busway." replied Yuri.

Gui nodded, then Maru sat quietly in front because Giu was driving her car. Yuri immediately tells Riu that she cannot meet because there are things that make her unable to follow. And a few minutes later they arrived in front of Yuri's mansion. Yuri quickly went down and said goodbye to her lover, Maru.

As Yuri wanted to enter, she met her father who had just been dinner with Han. And just then Han stared at Maru, with a gaze that could not be interpreted. Maru was saying goodbye to go home because it was night too and not good if lingering at Yuri's house.

Maru wants to design a plan so that everyone does not know all the plans that have been planned. Gui was also astonished because just this time Han was begging Maru.
