Ch. 1: The Beginning

Xiao Lian woke up, surprised to find herself in a very beautiful and quiet place.

“Where am I?" xiao Lian asked inwardly as she looked in all directions.

Xiao Lian tried to remember what really happened to her. Suddenly, someone's footsteps sounded.

“It turns out you're awake, Miss Lian," said someone dressed all in white.

“Si... Who're you?" xiao Lian asked trembling in fear.

“Nona Lian has nothing to fear. I am Mu Shilin. I was sent by the Sky God to guide Miss Lian in order to control the power well," Mu Shilin explained.

“What power?" xiao Lian asked confusedly.

“Strength granted by the Sky God. He said that Miss Lian was the chosen girl" Mu Shilli explained.

“What does that mean? Then, how am I supposed to be here?" asked Xiao Lian who had not been able to digest the incident she was experiencing at this time.

“Try to recall the incident that Miss experienced before!" the Pinta Mu Shilli.

Xiao Lian tried to remember what happened.

The Flashback Xiao Lian On

Xiao Lian was sitting on a chair while reading the books on martial arts manuals. Then, came Xiao Feng, who was Xiao Lian's father.

“Nak, can you please buy the food ingredients in this note?!" pinta Xiao Feng while thrusting out a piece of note paper.

“Good father," Xiao Lian immediately rushed to the place selling the foodstuffs.

“I'm home!" said Xiao Lian.

Upon reaching the house, Xiao Lian was shocked by the bodies of her father and mother lying covered in blood on the floor. Xiao Lian covered her mouth with both hands.

“Dad... Mum..." Xiao Lian cried out as she hugged the bodies of her parents.

As Xiao Lian cried, a mysterious girl came along.

“It turns out, you're a whiny girl," said a girl familiar to the whole community.

She was Jia Li, the princess of the Wu empire. Jia Li was famous for his cruelty. Whoever dares to oppose him, he will be tortured. Jia Li was also proficient in swordplay. No wonder the citizens dubbed her as the 'Demon Princess.'

“What's my fault with you? Why did you take the lives of my parents?" xiao Lian asked who did not know the reason Jia Li killed his parents.

“You did nothing wrong. I just want to kill people" Jia Li said.

“Only because of that? YOU TOOK THE LIVES OF OTHERS, JUST FOR SUCH A NONSENSICAL REASON?!" Xiao Lian snapped at Jia Li.

“Wah wah wah. An ordinary folk dared to yell at Jia Li, the imperial princess of Wu. You are really brave" Jia Li said with a cynical smile.

Suddenly, Xiao Lian's body trembled in fear. Jia Li took his sword and stepped as fast as lightning towards Xiao Lian. As a result, Jia Li's sword pierced through Xiao Lian's body.

“ARGHHH!" Xiao Lian whimpered in pain.

“That was the result of opposing a Princess from the Wu Empire," Jia Li smiled in satisfaction.

Xiao Lian's gaze began to blur. The cynical smile from Jia Li bore witness to Xiao Lian's death.

The Flashback Xiao Lian Off

“Jia Li. He has taken my life and that of my parents" Xiao Lian said with teary eyes.

“Miss Lian, can you see this for a moment?!" pinta Mu Shilin's.

“Jia Li is not just hurting Miss Lian's life. But, now he was also suffering the life of the entire human race," Mu Shilin explained.

“How can Jia Li do that?" asked Xiao Lian.

“Since the death of his father, the power of emperor Wu fell into the hands of Jia Li. But unfortunately, Jia Li wrongly used that power. He sent warriors from various kingdoms to destroy human lives," Mu Shilin replied.

Xiao lian was speechless anymore. He still did not believe, that the human race was under the shackles of Jia Li's cruelty.

“This is the reason Miss Xiao Lian was granted power by the Sky God. Miss Lian should be able to get rid of Jia Li and restore the peace of the world" Mu Shillin said.

“Then, what powers do I have?" asked Xiao Lian.

“For the time being, Miss Xiao Lian only has the ability to get in touch with the Sky God. With this ability, Miss Lian could ask for clues or speak directly to the Sky God," Mu Shilin explained.

“If only with this kind of ability, how could I possibly defeat Jia Li?" asked Xiao Lian.

“One's strength is divided into 5 levels. For the time being, Miss Lian has not reached the level of strength. Because, Miss Lian has not mastered a single element yet," Mu Shilin replied.

“How can I increase my power level?" ask Xiao Lian again.

Suddenly a blinding light appeared.

“Hei! Wake up!" someone's orders.

Xiao Lian opened her eyes slowly. He saw a handsome and dashing man standing in front of him.

“Kyaaa!" Xiao Lian was surprised.

“Si... Whoareyou? What are you doing to me?!" asked Xiao Lian.

“You can't get me wrong. I didn't do anything weird to you!" deny the man.

“Then why did you bring me here? You perverted man!" Xiao Lian did not believe the man's words.

“I found you lying on the ground," said the man.

“So Mu Shilin has moved me," Inner Xiao Lian.

“Sorry to have accused you recklessly," Xiao Lian lowered her head, she felt guilty towards the man for having charged recklessly.

“Alright, I'm sorry. Oh yes, introduce my name Wang Xuemin," Wang introduced himself as he reached out.

“I'm Xiao Lian," Xiao Lian shook Wang Xuemin's hand.

“Alright, I just called you Lian. By the way, how did you get on the ground? What the hell happened to you?" ask Wang Xuemin.

“Do I have to tell her that I am the Princess of Heaven?" xiao Lian asked inwardly.

“Ah I don't remember either," Xiao Lian replied thus.

“Oh alright. Have you eaten yet? If not, eat this!" wang Xuemin's Order.

“Te... Thank ye. I'm sorry to bother you," Xiao Lian felt bad for Wang Xuemin.

“Yes, forget it. Eat first!" pinta Wang Xuemin's.

“Yes," Xiao Lian smiled happily and began to eat the food given by Wang Xuemin.
