Darkness is enveloping the air; the wind is blowing from out there. The song of the night bird, sounds like a terrible hum.
Carefully, a man walks alone in the dark of a long slippery passageway. A candle he made as a light that will guide him to the destination. His face, which was not inedible with age, seemed to be full of tension.
He halted his steps before a stone that blocked his path. A strange pattern of dark red was painted there. Under it there is also the script 'AHENGKARA' which is a sanskrit language that has the meaning of evil or insubordinate n^fsu.
In a hurry, then, the man injured his right hand, and then smashed the pattern just now with his left. His body trembled remembering something that was waiting behind there.
He slide the big stone, until it looks a minimalist room with a gloomy aura. Only nine candles and four torches were the lights there.
In the room, the air was warm, but the weather was very gripping. The man walked towards the center of the room.
He was standing on a pattern that looked similar to the pattern on the stone. He looked at his footing deeply, then, with his unstable body, he sat down.
In front of him was a small table made of stone. On top of it, a golden bowl with strange carvings had been almost filled with a fishy-scented dark red liquid.
The man, too, slowly placed the candle beside the container. He closed the two neutrals, then chanted in a deep voice.
"Ahengkara—wahai devil of heresy. You are the guardians of hell. Sneak me, but give me wealth and power. We are bound in a false covenant. Drowning together in the dark. Now, I'm calling you. O devil my beloved, come ...! Your servant has brought you a snack."
The man who was sitting in the lotus position was swept away in silence after his tidying continued. But before long, a strange light entered his body. He nodded, then opened his eyes.
"HA HA HA!" His laughter sounded loud and horrible. His sharp gaze, was highlighted onto the bowl of dark red liquid that turned out to be blood. He drank it in a hurry.
The blood splashed—about the table and his face. When the liquid is no longer drinkable, then he licks it— on the stone table, floor, hands, clothes, even his own face.
His tongue extends horribly—looks like a snake tongue. His eyes blackened completely. His teeth are also sharp.
"Stupid human!" he said, with a deep voice that sounded hoarse. "THIS FIGHT IS GOING AGAIN!" his yell. He's breaking the table. His body, then jolted and a strange light came out from there.
"Your Majesty ...!" said. He looked at the strange figure that appeared in his sight.
"Leonard Gavril, GIVE ME AGAIN! I WANT BLOOD! I WANT A HUMAN! GIVE ME THE TUMBAL!" The figure shouted furiously. The long black nails, then gripped firmly the neck of the man called Leonard Gavril by it.
"But, Your Majesty .., I have given thirteen deaths this month. Isn't that what His Majesty asked for in our agreement?"
"SLOW! YOU HUMANS ARE USELESS! GIVE ME THE FOUL, OR I TAKE ALL THE WEALTH YOU HAVE! COME ON, BOW DOWN BEFORE YOUR LORD!"
Leonard flinched, then immediately obeyed the orders of the monstrous figure. He kowtowed, even kissing the disgusting looking feet. "Ahengkara, my Lord ...!" ogre.
"What kind of a final does Your Majesty want from a servant?" asked Leonard, who was still prostrating it.
"Your daughter, I want your daughter!" Ahengkara.
"The servant will give you another. Slave will give you a thousand tumbal—but please don't slave daughter!" His voice vibrates. She's terrified. Her tears came out.
Ahengkara looked at Leonard with disdain. He hates humans. He hates human feelings. He hates the tears of man that come out of his deepest heart.
Ahengkara who was angry, then kicked Leonard. The man bounced far away. His body hit the wall. His head hit hard to release a lot of fluid that instead of red, it was blackish.
"Him with your daughter or your life" he said, in a haughty manner. His body, then simply vanished and left the figure of Leonard who was drowning in his gloom. The wound on his head that was like a leak, was not felt.
"Hamba will come to him soon. But please give me time" Leonard said, to the empty-looking space before him.
With his body constantly shaking, Leonard too, then rose from his position. His fresh wounds, bleeding blood that flowed up to his neck, then dirtying his bright blue shirt.
Leonard leaned against the wall and closed his eyes. His hand reached into his pants pocket. He picked up his smartphone, then dialed someone's phone number.
"Boss?"
"Fetch me! Ahengkara rampaged and hurt me."
"Didn't he heal the Boss like he used to?"
"He's very angry. Maybe, he did this to punish me."
"I'll be there soon."
"Hurry up, before I run out of blood."
Leonard hung up his phone, then took a deep breath. His head felt dizzy, until his eyes blurred. His eyes were reddened, involuntarily giving off a clear liquid.
"Do I really have to subvert my daughter?" ogre. His hands are clenched strong. "I'm sorry ...! I'm sorry ...! Renjana, Dhivya—forgive me ...! I'm sorry you had to be the victim of my greed."
Leonard covered his face with both palms. "I thought, everything will be fine after I leave you guys—but as it turns out, he still wants Renjana. Though ...— forgive me ..., forgive me, Dhivya ...! I don't want to sacrifice our daughter to Ahengkara—but .., she can take over my body forcibly."
"I think the three of us can live happily with the wealth we have, even if I have to ally with the devil. But it turns out ...." Leonard wept bitterly, regretting all his filthy deeds. But all that, it feels useless, because Ahengkara has given treasure, strength, and power—but, it was obtained at the expense of love that can give him happiness.
"I love you guys. But .., maybe my time is not long, because Ahengkara, it is not impossible to immediately take over my body in full. This consciousness of mine, even half of it. I can't do anything."
Leonard could feel his head throbbing with pain, although at first, he could not feel the pain. Slowly, his eyes blurred. He fell in terrible condition.
Before long, the door opened— revealed a man who looked the same age as Leonard Gavril. The face of the man, implied such deep concern. In a hurry, then, he approached the fallen man.
"Ahengkara—iblis was really angry," he said, with a shuddering body. He went out carrying his boss' body,
