9. After the incident

Slowly Lucie opened her eyes, she faintly heard the sound of footsteps. Lucie turned her eyes around, everything was blurry. He was about to wake up, but the pain in his head that was still very felt made him undo his intentions. Then the sound of the door opening, the more clearly the sound of her footsteps could be heard, Lucie quickly closed her eyes.

A woman dressed in a waiter's uniform came into the room, her hands carefully carrying a tray containing a bowl of chicken porridge and warm water. After arriving at the table, he put the two down then rushed out of the room. Hearing the sound of footsteps getting further away, Lucie opened her eyes again. His nose sniffed the scent of food, his gaze instantly fixed on the table beside him. Suddenly his stomach rang, his hand moving towards the table, he instantly regained consciousness. Scraps of events last night began to appear in his head, he just remembered the incident last night that hit him was very terrible. Lucie chuckled, "No way, she's got a lot of fans who are even prettier than me so obviously there's no way she's got feelings for me" Lucie shook her head, she went back to eating her noodles.

"But yesterday when I met him in front of the school gate, he asked me about you" hearing Sonya's words, Lucie immediately choked

"Tell me, what did he ask?"

"He asked if you ever felt followed by someone, I mean some kind of stalker" Sonya said as she stirred the noodles and ate them. Lucie looked at Sonya confusedly, "Stalker said?" said it.

"Yes, he asked me like that"

"What a weird thing, why does she suddenly care so much about me?" Lucie felt something strange, she squinted at Sonya who was still eating her noodles. Sonya immediately finished her noodles with one big mouthful, then she peeked out from behind the bowl "There's one more thing I haven't told you, and well this managed to interrupt my thoughts all night" Sonya said.

Lucie drank her water, a glass to two glasses of water then saw Sonya's face turn serious "I just remembered, she whispered next to me right before she actually left. He said, don't go near Alvin or he'll be hurt" Lucie nodded her head, then Sonya said again "Is it possible that 'he' is you?".

"I think he's overrated, but come to think of it we just got to know each other and we weren't so close so how did he think that? or maybe she's planning something?" Lucie begins to suspect, Sonya instead yells at him "He's worried, and of course as a friend it's natural." lapse of a few minutes both Sonya and Lucie are silent, Sonya frowned, "But.. who's Alvin?" ask Sonya.

"I don't know" said Lucie.

Lucie looked at the shadow of herself from the glass, she faintly saw the shadow of another person in her shadow, Lucie was confused, she blinked her eyes again as soon as the shadow disappeared.

"No papa" she said, Lucie was glued to the necklace hanging over her mirror, for a moment she thought it would be better if she took the necklace and then returned it to its owner. But this time somehow every time he saw the necklace like there was something that attracted him to have it, his curiosity became more and more when he began to touch every inch of the beautiful necklace carving, the necklace was beautiful, slowly his finger pressed the box-shaped necklace open, and he found a picture that looked similar to someone he knew.

"Where is he?" Antoine unloads the entire shelf of his desk, then searches into the closet, to the whole room but the result is nil, the necklace he will give her has been lost.

"What are you looking for?" Julian appeared from behind him, he was quite shocked to see his things falling apart.

"Book, I'm looking for books for teaching materials today" Anton realized, he saw his goods everywhere "Sorry, I'll make it up again" he said.

"OK, no problem" Julian observed Antoine's face returning unsettled.

"I think you dropped it somewhere, like last night where did you go?" Nikolas came after hearing a noise from across the room, "Thank you, you guys managed to interrupt my sleep." the two turned their heads together, Antoine narrowed her eyes "Oh okay, sorry to bother you. But I really need it, right now" he said.

"Now remember where you put it last time!" reprimanding Nikolas, Julian glanced at the frustrated Antoine.

"Anton, it looks like you didn't take him with you" Julian said, looking at him "Where do you know he didn't have a necklace with him?"

"I'm just guessing, because I feel like I've seen it somewhere" Julian turned to Nikolas then to Anton.

"Where have you seen him?" Anton again tried to remember everything he did yesterday, while he was drawn to memory last night when he went out shopping "I think I know where I dropped him" he said.
