EPISODE 5 ~ Lean On My Shoulder

He's a simple house where only three people inhabit him, patiently they slam bones looking for work in order to jump his life.

A handsome young man who was working in one of the restaurants. Now his condition is very bad, he often daydreams that makes his boss was always angry with him.

He is named Delvin, a handsome man who is simple and has no wealth like his former lover, and now he often daydreams and does not focus on working. He always thinks about Kyla, he's really not willing. But fate says otherwise, Kyla must be with another man who makes Delvin's heart hurt.

"The chin!" shouted the old man.

"Ah yes sir" said Delvin shocked.

"You're the end of this daydreaming, you're already a boss!" sniff the man.

"Sorry sir, I was wrong, I will not repeat. Please fire me." Delvin was already kneeling before his boss, to beg his boss not to fire him.

"I can't stand to see you. You I fired!"

Like a loud slap that landed on Delvin's cheek when he heard the word fire. He was confused about where to find work if he was fired from work.

"Sir please, give me one more chance. I knew I was wrong, how my mother and sister could eat if you fired me" Delvin said.

"No, you're out of bounds, if you keep daydreaming if work what if my restaurant fires because of your carelessness. Now you get out of here." cried the man who had driven Delvin away.

"Thank you sir." he said and immediately walked away from his workplace.

When he got home, he was confused what to say to his mother and sister. He is now the backbone of the family, who must bash the bones of a decent job to jump the lives of the three of them.

Yes that's how life is difficult, all family members must go out every day to find a job and can pay for all his needs.

When she got home, she knocked on the door and said hello, and soon her sister came out because their mother was sick.

"Son, why is this hour coming home?" ask her sister named Nara.

"Nara, sister is fired from work, but you don't say yes to mom" Delvin said gently as he stroked Nara's hair affectionately.

"Sister, do I have to work too?" ask Nara plain.

"Don't baby, you're a kid. Let the staff find him again."

"Sister, forgive me for always troubling sister." said Nara because she felt guilty that she could not repay the kindness of her brother and his father's successor.

"You're not wrong Ra, it's all my sister's duty as the eldest son." again Delvin said softly as he stroked her sister's hair and was instantly reminded by Kyla.

That's Delvin's habit if Kyla is sad or adorable, she must be stroking Kyla's hair or cheeks.

Oh, never mind again. Thinking about it only makes me sick. Delvin.

He walked back to his mother's room.

"Assalamualikum ma'am," said Delvin when he arrived at his mother's room.

She kissed the mother's hand that was already wrinkled and gently stroked her mother's hand. There's water in Delvin's eyes that's being blocked. It felt like Delvin wanted to cry when he saw his mother's condition getting worse.

"Vaalaikum sallam. You've come home." replied the mother in a trembling voice.

"Yes mom, have you eaten?" delvin asked warmly.

"Had son, Nara took good care of her mother" said the mother, pointing at Nara with her eyes.

"Rest me, I take a shower" said Delvin, who stood up and looked at Nara. Like telling me don't tell me what it is about him getting fired from work. Because if you find out, he'll force you to work again.

Nara is a cute and beautiful girl who just took the 6th grade. She's been out of school for a few days now because she has to look after her mom. Many friends invite Nara to school, but Nara rejects her because if she is a school banger, then who will take care of her beloved mother.

He had thought about quitting school, but the decision was banned by his mother and sister.

"Delvin I want to help you!" firmly Ed.

"I don't need your mercy!" Delvin replied with a stroke. Don't know why his heart hated the man in front of him so much, even though he knew Ed was innocent.

"You don't consider me your enemy, I'm not that bad to you."

"The enemy is still the enemy, you are my female usurper!" yelled Delvin who was already emotional.

"I didn't take it, it was fate that brought us together!"

"Ah come on, so you invited me to meet just to show off you've now got Kyla, it doesn't matter, I've forgotten about it so don't ever meet me, and don't ever interrupt my life!" delvin said as he raised his index finger to the front of Ed's forehead.

"Delvin!" yelled the sobbing woman.

"Kyla!" say they both at the same time.

Before leaving Ed did not tell Kyla where he was going, and he did not know if Kyla was following him.

Did he listen to all of her. Delvin.

Ed approached his wife and clasped her hand tightly because he knew how she was feeling.

"You said you've forgotten me?! That's as easy as you've forgotten all about it, and why you're a vengeful now! It's not your nature." cried Kyla who made Delvin's heart ache.

"Pardon me, that's not what I mean," nervous Delvin.

"Here you go, I don't need your answer, Ed let's go home." Kyla pulls Ed's hand and leaves Delvin without even glancing back.

Kyla's heart aches a little though she is comfortable with Ed, but still her love for Delvin has not diminished.

Upon arriving at the hotel where they were staying, Kyla immediately sat quietly on the sofa and closed her eyes in order to keep her emotions and not look pitiful in front of Ed.

Ed approached his wife and held Kyla's hand affectionately.

"Cry if you want to cry" said Ed, as he kissed Kyla softly.

"For what I cried for, I already have a husband" she said slowly.

She is ashamed of what she said, and begins to open her heart to Ed. She wants to forget all her memories with Delvin and start a new life with her husband.

Ed just smiled, though,

"Stand on my shoulders."

Without answering Kyla directly tilted her head and leaned on her husband's shoulder.

"Thank you for patiently accepting me." - Kyla quietly.

"Tomorrow we will move to my apartment" Ed said as he stroked Kyla's head slowly.

Kyla feels the affection that flows from her husband's touch, she thinks Ed already likes her. When their wedding day did not love each other at all, neither did Ed, nor did he love Kyla because they only met for the first time at the proposal and a few weeks later they immediately married.
