A gentle breeze touched Kian's skin as he stood under the old fir trees in the mountains. Sunset light blazed across the twilight sky, creating an incredible scene around them. At her side, Mei, the mysterious woman who had been a part of her training and life, stood with a gentle smile on her face. They had spent several months together, and their relationship deepened.
Gently touched Mei's hand, and their eyes met. "Kian," Mei said in a warm voice, "you know, I'm so grateful to have someone like you in my life."
He smiled and replied, "And I'm so lucky to have you, Mei."
However, behind their smiles, Kian felt that there was something Mei was hiding. In recent weeks, he has noticed that Mei often disappears at night and returns the next morning with a tired face. Although Kian tries to ask, Mei always answers with vague answers and avoids the details.
"May," Kian said softly, "is there something you're hiding from me?"
Mei paused for a moment and looked doubtful. "Kian, actually I want to talk to you about that. But right now, I can't say it."
I was confused and a little disappointed. "May, we have to trust each other. We shared so much together. Whatever happens, we can deal with it together."
Mei's eyes were filled with regret. "I know, Kian, but it's very complicated. I promise, I'll tell you when the time is right."
They continued on their way, walking along the edge of the forest towards the calmly flowing river. Kian felt the warmth of Mei's hand that was still holding on tightly to her. However, the question of Mei's secret remains to plague her mind.
On the river bank, they stopped for a moment. The sun had sunk completely, and the night sky was starting to shine with sparkling stars. Kian looked at Mei with a gentle look and said, "I love you, Mei, and I'm ready to support you no matter what."
Mei smiled and replied, "Kian, I love you too, more than the words I can express. I just wish you could be patient and trust me."
They hugged tightly under the stars, feeling the warmth of each other. However, although Kian tries to ease the worries in his heart, he knows that Mei's secret will become a hindrance in their relationship if not revealed.
Kian and Mei continue their journey in an unknown direction, continuing to share the love that grows between them. However, questions about Mei's secret will continue to plague Kian, and he feels that the answers will come soon, somehow.
That night, Kian was in deep doubt. Even though she loved Mei, her suspicion about the secret she was hiding could not be ignored anymore. He knew he had to find out what was going on.
More and more walked among the trees outside the training dormitory, moving carefully and avoiding the supervision of his friends. He gazed up at the star-filled sky, trying to muster up the courage to follow Mei. In the end, he decided to go down his trail, because that was the only way to get an answer.
She arrives near the cottage where Mei lives and sees a gentle light emanating from within. Peering through the window of the cottage, Kian saw Mei sitting on the table with an anxious face, talking to a man sitting opposite her. The man had long, dangling black hair and a pair of sharp eyes that showed a strong determination.
He felt his heart thump as he recognized the man. It was the image of his mysterious enemy, who had all along been trying to destroy the realm of cultivators. Move very carefully, listening to their conversations without being seen.
Mei looked at the man with a restless expression. "I tried to keep your secret protected" he said softly, "but Kian grew suspicious. What do we do?"
The man nodded seriously. "We can't let your secret out. I've been waiting this long for this opportunity. We need to get our plans in place as soon as possible."
Mei continued, "I love Kian, but I also owe you. We have to be careful and not let him get hurt in this process."
The man smiled coldly. "Don't worry, we'll execute this plan without giving Kian a loss. We just need to get him where we want to be."
I feel angry and confused. This was a betrayal that he could not accept. He slowly retreated from his hiding place and stepped to the back of the hut.
However, before he could leave, one of the dried tree branches on the ground broke violently, revealing his whereabouts. Mei and the man immediately stopped talking and looked towards the voice.
Feeling caught off guard and stepping out of his hiding place, his eyes filled with fear and anger. "What are you guys doing here?" snapped it.
Mei was shocked and immediately stood up. "Kian, I can explain..."
The man quickly jumped into the sky with his cultivation ability and disappeared into the darkness of the night. Kian tried to chase after him, but the man was too fast.
He faced Mei with eyes full of anger. "Who is he? What the hell is going on?"
Mei looked at Kian with regretful eyes. "So, he's your missing stepbrother. And he wants to make peace and end this battle."
Getting confused. "My half-brother? Why would he want to destroy the kingdom of cultivators?"
Mei explains everything, including the background of a mysterious enemy and their plans to end the conflict. Feeling anxious, not knowing what to believe anymore.
Their relationship has been shaken, and a long-hidden secret has been revealed. Kian must decide whether he will accept Mei's explanation and whether he can forgive her friend's betrayal.
The atmosphere in the room Mei and Kian were tense. Sitting in front of Mei, eyes full of questions and anxiety. Mei herself seemed uneasy, but she had decided that it was time to reveal the secret she had been hiding for so long.
"Kian," said Mei with a deep breath, "I know that you are angry and disappointed at what you heard that night. I also know that I have let you down by hiding the truth from you."
He nodded slowly, allowing Mei to continue.
Mei explained, "The person you met that night, the mysterious enemy who had tried to destroy the realm of cultivators, was my missing half-brother. His name was Xian, and he was the son of my stepfather who left my family when I was a child."
Kian. "Why does he want to destroy the kingdom of cultivators? And why are you hiding it from me?"
