There was only one word that was completely entrenched in Kyojuro's brain at the moment. Dilemmas. The fire-bending man did not know what to say at this moment. He who used to be the most chatty and optimistic among other Hashira, now can only be silent.
Especially now he is in front of Kagaya and Amane along with Nezuko and Senjuro. The three are now giving a report verbally to Kagaya, arguing that everything is still in shock with what they just experienced. Especially for Kyojuro.
Since then, that Fire Hashira had not said a word at all. Senjuro tends to take over the conversation, and the awkward Nezuko can only chim in on what Senjuro says. I don't know where the bravery Senjuro has, but it's likely that it all comes from the influence that Hikaru brings to the Rengoku family.
Fortunately, Kagaya and Amane can understand this awkward situation, on the condition that later Kyojuro must write a written report as an archive. The Fire Hashira agreed to the terms that Kagaya proposed, as her mind was now filled with the shadow of Akaza piercing Harada's right lower abdomen until it penetrated to the hip.
"Kyojuro, daijobu?" kagaya's peaceful voice made Kyojuro gasp. Both beads as sweet as honey are already glazed.
"Dan-chiao, Oyakata-sama. Did you say anything?" Kyojuro asked back.
Both Senjuro and Nezuko chose to remain silent as Kagaya slightly advanced her sitting position to embrace Kyojuro. The fire Hashira grew increasingly gasp and could not hold back her tears. Up to only a minute away, tears seeped from both beads as sweet as honey belonging to Kyojuro. Hashira Fire finally cried after all this time.
Both eyes that usually always emit optimism and high confidence, now unable to stem the sadness and worry felt by his little heart. Kagaya patted Kyojuro's back slowly, letting her narrow shoulders be subjected to tears from the eldest son of the Rengoku clan in front of her. Perhaps if counted, Kyojuro cried in Kagaya's arms for three minutes.
The man who broke down like a fire distanced himself from Kagaya, then apologized for the spontaneous reaction earlier. Kagaya stroked Kyojuro's gray hair, as if it were a sign that it was nothing. Senjuro let out a long sigh due to his brother's completely unexpected behavior. His instincts now say that Amane will also comment on what they have just experienced. But it seems, Senjuro still has to learn from Inosuke in matters of instinctual sharpness.
"Better get your emotions out, Kyojuro. This also applies to all my children" Kagaya said. Be it Nezuko, Senjuro or Kyojuro both chuckle stiffly.
The three then say goodbye to Kagaya and Amane, intending to continue their respective activities. Nezuko still has to see Inosuke and Zenitsu, making sure that her brother is okay in the care of the two noisy youths. While Kyojuro and Senjuro, instead of stepping into the residence of the Rengoku clan, the two are now walking in uncertain directions.
Senjuro knew that his brother had intended to write a report. But it seems like her brother's little heart is still not ready, so now the two accidentally even walk to the Butterfly Residence through a different direction from the one taken by Nezuko. If the black-haired girl with the orange tip steps into a special territory to settle in, the two men step into the treatment section. Senjuro had to pull the tip of his brother's haori to make him realize with his own footsteps.
"Senjuro, why are we here?" ask Kyojuro. Senjuro shook his head slowly, as if unwilling to bother.
However, the two slices of honey chocolate Kyojuro slightly reacted when he saw a large body figure approaching him from inside the treatment. Although finally, Kyojuro slightly threw his face away when he realized that a large-bodied figure was approaching him, Himejima Gyomei.
To his surprise, however, Kyojuro had just seen Hideki's white hair poking out from behind Gyomei's wide back. Kyojuro took a deep breath, as if preparing for anything unpleasant. Because after all, both Hashira were the closest to Harada, and he had indirectly just become a burden to their best friend.
"Don't waste your face, Rengoku" Gyomei said.
"Harada will beat you if you see you dim like this, after all!" hatchki while clutching Kyojuro hard.
"I'm sorry, Himejima-san, Date-san. I'm just being a burden to aniki," great-grandson Kyojuro.
Hideki pulls Kyojuro's uniform collar, then punches him in the cheek. Senjuro immediately put his body in front of his brother, but Hideki also punched Senjuro. Even the sad-looking young man had to feel his stomach being kicked by Hideki's famously hard knee. Gyomei reflexively tries to restrain Hideki by lifting the body of the white-haired man through his two armpits, making Hideki soar through the air and kick through the air.
"Stop putting yourself down! If you regret this, be stronger! Even Yue and Ui could not guarantee Harada's life now! I hope you don't become a coward who runs away from trouble because of this, after all!"
"Hideki, there's no point getting angry in front of them. But I hope you can understand why Harada protected you so much, Rengoku. Please strengthen yourself, yes."
Gyomei smiled bitterly as he closed both of his eyelids. Kyojuro who still had a chance to see it was a bit trembling, feeling very guilty and angry at himself. This was the first time Kyojuro had seen Gyomei's bitter smile, which indirectly made him very burdened.
What kind of person is he to be able to make the most patient Hashira express as painful as before? Senjuro still faithfully held onto his brother's trembling right hand, as if trying to strengthen his older brother who was surprisingly shaken by his psychic greatness. Senjuro then stroked his brother's back.
"Aniue. Let's calm down first" Senjuro said. Kyojuro nodded.
"Senjuro strap. Would you like to accompany me to Sagiri Mountain?" ask Kyojuro. Senjuro forehead wrinkled.
"Aniue, what are you going to do there?"
"Visiting someone's grave. I know the location of the chichiue."
"Eh well if it can make you better, aniue."
"You, you take it easy, ototou."

Dreams, Again
Harada coughed, then curled to the right. His entire body seemed to be attacked by a cold wind from Mount Aino. But when his nose caught the scent of salt, the man unraveled that night knowing that this was his subconscious. Harada slowly opened her eyes, then rolled to stare at the orange twilight sky with the clouds moving.
His grassy green beads scoured the surroundings, trying to guess its location. White sand, then his legs now felt tickled by the water that suddenly kissed his feet. He was on the coast. Harada decided to sit down, then held onto her aching head. His right leg was bent and became his focus.
"Heh, I didn't think you'd protect Shinjuro's son until that."
Harada reflexes looked back. There, his emerald-colored bead caught the figure of a tall and sturdy man. Her hair was black, and her irises were grass green. Same seems. But there were some wrinkles on the man's face, and they were the ones that made Harada's little heart break. The man who was approaching him, then sitting next to his right was his father, a father figure whom he had longed for.
"Tou-chan, I didn't know you could stop by here" Harada said. Matsuda laughed crisply.
"Of course, your tou-chan is great!" matsuda patted his chest. The black-haired man then directed Harada to sleep on his lap.
"Tou-chan, don't dong.."
"Be quiet. I've wanted to do this a long time ago, but I never got around to it. At least let your tou-chan spirit be happy, Harada."
Harada chuckles. But it feels fine, because he can barely relax all this time, even when he was seriously injured though. Harada let Matsuda play around with her long hair. A few moments passed without any conversation, both of them were only caressed by the salt-scented sea breeze which was quite cold. Until finally, suddenly Matsuda said some things that made his eldest son's heart even more melos.
About the growth of her twin sister. Then about Hikari, who turned out to keep her identity a secret as a complement to the nickname of her eldest brother since childhood. If Harada is Kusangada no Musuko, then Hikari is Sora no Kibo, the hope of the sky. Harada glared, then positioned her body to lie on Matsuda's lap. His father lowered his head, then nodded slowly. Matsuda knew that Harada would be surprised by this fact.
"If Hikari is Sora no Kibo, it means he is-" Harada did not dare to continue his sentence. Matsuda nodded slowly.
"Your sister kept a spell paper in the breast pocket of your uniform. He's been making that for a long time, Harada. Without it you're past" Matsuda said.
Harada let out a long sigh and turned back to face her body to the right, staring at the green grass growing on the white sand. His brain knew that the existence of Sora no Kibo was much rarer than the existence of Kusangada no Musuko, and the spell paper Matsuda had intended was the intermediary of the lost Hell Breathing. Hentan, or the reversing technique that became the hallmark of the Akechi clan's medical science.
"But by the way, what's your reason for protecting Shinjuro's son?" ask Matsuda. Finally, his father began to wonder about his decision.
"Did tou-chan meet Ruka-san?" Harada asked back. Matsuda nodded slowly.
"What does this have to do with Ruka?"
"When Shin Ji-chan lost Ruka-san, she completely lost everything. He started getting drunk and ogah-ogahan doing missions. She ignored her children, and worse, she always cornered them and told them to have the title of Hashira Fire end in her alone."
"Baka Shin's. I love that kid, know how he feels!"
"No need, tou-chan. Me and Hikaru have gotten close to her."
"Wait, how can you soften it, Harada?"
"By positioning yourself as her children as well. Shin Ji-chan also saved me, so Hikaru and I will not let our second sun dim even worse."
"Heh, you used to make a lot of sense."
"Thanks, tou-chan!"
Matsuda pinched Harada's cheek hard, then laughed loosely. Harada really does not know what kind of thoughts come into her father's brain which sometimes acts magical. But surely, with the arrival of her father, Harada was a little amused at this time. Not only was she stress free, but she could tell who still needed her existence in the cruel outside world.
Matsuda then gently stroked Harada's hair, as if she would not leave Harada's subconscious. Or at least, that's what he wanted. After all helping the recovery of his proud eldest son is not something wrong, right? If Shinjuro is now very proud of Kyojuro, then his pride is now his three children and his sister.
Dream, End
From behind the mask Tengu always wears, Sakonji raised both eyebrows, feeling that he was a little hallucinating. When the middle-aged man was preparing incense, both of his eyes felt that the nose part of his mask was exposed to snowflakes. It is not snow that falls, but rain. This made Sakonji sigh for failing to light incense for his best friend while still being Hashira.
Sakonji looked up at the sky and chuckled softly. The sky was already very dark this afternoon, and the smell of rainwater was also pouring out throughout the Sagiri mountains. Sakonji again wrapped the incense he was about to burn with a cloth, then put it in his kimono bag. The old man was intending to go home soon, but there were two scents tickling his nose heading this way.
When he re-examined the scent, Sakonji calmed down a little because he managed to recognize the two scents. Finally the old man decided to leave the Akechi clan residence area. Although finally, from behind his Tengunya mask, Sakonji had to hold back a laugh when he heard a screech that sounded so innocent.
"Shinigami Tengu mask!"
"Hush, Senjuro! It's not good to say that!"
At least Sakonji managed to recognize the two distinctive sounds earlier, and also a plain white haori whose bottom is patterned with a very distinctive flame tongue. Sakonji decides to approach the two young men, unconcerned with the younger figure, who is now hiding behind the back of the haori owner with a flame pattern.
Sakonji then makes sure if the estimate is correct, by asking if the two men in front of him are Shinjuro's children or not. One of them replies if they are the son of Shinjuro vigorously. Ah, what a nostalgia, it reminds him of Shinjuro's youthful spirit.
"I'm Urokodaki Sakonji, and I used to be Hashira's colleague from your father" Sakonji said. The brothers looked enthusiastic.
"My name is Rengoku Senjuro, and this is my name, Rengoku Kyojuro," Senjuro said. Sakonji nodded.
"By the way, what are you guys doing here? Only a few people were aware of what kind of place this was from the beginning."
"Aniue brought me here. He said to visit someone's grave. Urokodaki-san, do you know whose tomb aniue is referring to?"
"Rather than the rain there, you better come with me. I can feel if you're here because you're in a state of turmoil."
The Rengoku brothers could not comment more, because in fact Sakonji was right. Until now, the three walked down the cliff to head to Sakonji's house. Kyojuro thinks that his father's partner does have good instincts. But behind all that, the two did not expect that Sakonji, who might already be close to entering the age of 5 heads, was still very fast for the size of an old man.
Both Senjuro and Kyojuro had felt clumsy because of the speed Sakonji had. After about 1 hour walk, the three now arrive in front of Sakonji's house which is relatively simple. The man in a light blue kimono with a cloud motif invited his two guests to come in and sit down, while he prepared some things in the kitchen.
While waiting for Sakonji to return from the kitchen, the Rengoku brothers are engrossed in paying attention to the details of Sakonji's simple wooden house. The two now sat by the burning fireplace. Although former Hashira, they both thought Sakonji had a reason to live in a simple place like this.
About 15 minutes of time passed with complete silence, finally Sakonji returned to the main room while carrying 3 glasses of ocha in one tray, and finally Sakonji returned to the main room, along with some towels draped over his right shoulder which is quite wide. Senjuro reflexively takes the tray containing the ocha and places it in the middle, while Sakonji gives the towel to Kyojuro and Senjuro. From behind his mask, Sakonji could only faintly smile when he noticed the two Shinjuro children in front of him.
"I have a good sense of smell, and I can smell the stench that's obvious from you. Especially you, Kyojuro," said Sakonji. Kyojuro slightly threw away a moment.
"Well, how long, Urokodaki-san?" ask Kyojuro. Sakonji nodded slowly.
"Do you want to tell me? It is rare for a Rengoku to dim this badly."
Senjuro chuckled stiffly, while Kyojuro now completely lowered his head. From behind his mask Sakonji raised next to his brow in confusion. But just a few seconds away, Kyojuro finally spilled all his complaints in front of Sakonji.
Even Kyojuro up to mention about Hideki's anger at him. Although it feels like being struck by lightning in broad daylight, Sakonji is trying to neutralize his reaction for now. Because even though he decided to live alone, Sakonji knows that Kyojuro is now being shaken violently. Even she doubted that her sister, who Sakonji thought was much more rational, would be able to handle her brother's overreaction in her eyes.
Sakonji just nodded his head, then told him everything about Hideki's source of anger. Sakonji also mentioned that Hideki is the protege of his uncle Harada, and that made Kyojuro jerk. The man with the fire had heard that the Akechi clan was a group of people who were good at showing affection to others, and now Kyojuro inevitably had to admit it. Because the closeness between Hashira Es and Akechi clan is not a trivial bond.
"That's it. I will train both of you, but the level will be far above the normal level. I will also ask Hikaru to improve your breathing techniques," Sakonji said. Kyojuro looks jerky.
"U-Urokodaki-san, why did you want to do that?" ask Senjuro. From behind his mask, Sakonji smiled faintly.
"Because I want it too. I can smell the craziness and regret on both of you."
"Then we will show you our fire spirit, Urokodaki-san! Senjuro, you're coming, right?"
"Aniue why do you agree to this anyway!"
"Then you wait here. I'll prepare it first."
Sakonji got up from his seat and walked out of the house. The old man actually did not know why he felt the sadness that Kyojuro had experienced. But he remembered one thing, in a dark night, when his regret for Matsuda and Jigoro really soared like smoke from a burning mansion.
