Tanjiro and Yuuji run down a dark alley looking for two children who previously met Tanjiro. Yuuji realized something, he stopped Tanjiro's steps for a moment.

Zenitsu grasped Inosuke's leg tightly and then threw him firmly to his left. Zenitsu moved towards the box then knelt down and hugged it.

Inosuke was getting upset, he stood up then moved towards Zenitsu and kicked her face a few times until fresh blood came out of her nose. Just then, Yuuji who had just exited the Oni nest house from a different direction immediately ran over and hit Inosuke who was unsheathing the sword towards Zenitsu who was hugging the box.

Yuuji attacked quickly several times until Inosuke made some distance between the two of them.

“Stop, Zenitsu is one of our stupid colleagues.”

When Yuuji ended his sentence, Inosuke immediately moved and hit Yuuji's stomach then kicked him in the face until he was pushed and fell to the ground with his face first landing. Inosuke again kicked Zenitsu a few times.

“Take off your sword and fight with me! You coward!”

Tanjiro just arrived at the door, carrying Kiyoshi and beside him was Teruko. The three of them looked at the unsightly sight of Zenitsu's sacrifice.

“Tanjiro .. I protect him. Because you said ... compared to your life, this thing is worth more.”

Zenitsu said so by protecting the box she was hugging. Inosuke kicked Zenitsu several times with a huff, falling down in a box-protecting position.

Inosuke raised his right hand which was grasping a jagged sword. Tanjiro yells for Inosuke to stop, his attention distracted and the two of them look at each other.

With one powerful jump, Tanjiro slid towards Inosuke with a face full of anger that only inosuke was looking at.
