CHAPTER 62 - The Journey of Father and Son

On the day that Arion and Leon will begin their journey, Leon is enthusiastic and keeps laughing from morning.

"Leon has to call oma every day, ok?" Hanny said she was crying because her granddaughter was going to live on the bus and on the street. Although this bus already looks like a luxury house with all the facilities but still different from the actual house.

"Yes oma.. Leon will call oma before bed and report all of Leon and papi's activities." Said Leon cheerfully.

Unlike Vio who has been crying since last night, Vio has considered Leon his own son even he who gives breast milk to the handsome boy.

"Mami Vio don't cry anymore, Leon is going to be fine, Leon promises to bring mommy home later." Leon hugged the aunt who was like his own mother.

Then Leon moved to hug Melly who was also crying, the aunt was already living here as the nanny of his naughty cousin.

"Tante Melly. doain Leon and papi ya let mami meet soon." Said Leon while wiping away Melly's tears, he just nodded because he couldn't say anything.

Arion also hugged the rest of his family alternately, then with Leon climbed into his bus and drove casually, slowly leaving the gate of the mansion.

Arden has also set up a special team to look after his children and grandchildren, their cars and watches have been installed GPS so that the guards can keep their distance but still be able to monitor them. In every city they stop by has been prepared members who will take care of the health of their bus to stay maintained.

After 2 hours of travel Leon looked sleepy and fell asleep in a chair next to Arion with a seatbelt that fit his small body. Due to his contact with him, Arion chose to stop at one of the SPBU and rest for a while, he laid Leon to his bed and after being comfortable and safe, Arion took the bus back to their first location.

It was noon and Arion stopped in the area of Mount B and 6 years ago Arion had come to this place and decided to spend the night here.

Arion opens the bus door wide enough to let Cody out to explore on his own while he starts his activities, takes out a chair and folding table and composes a potable stove and makes a campfire.

Arion opened his big refrigerator that has been filled with various types of healthy foods, such as premium quality meat, organic chicken breast, cabbage and broccoli. For other vegetables Arion will go to the village to buy it.

Before long Leon woke up and saw the beautiful place, he was surrounded by shady trees and the air was very cool.

"But, don't wake Leon." He said that when he jumped down from the bus, he liked to jump over the door rather than down the stairs that there were only 3 pieces.

"Papi's son sleeps really fast, so papi can't bear to wake up." Arion said as he patted the chair next to him for Leon to sit next to him.

"Cody you cheated on eating first!" Leon shouted as he saw Cody eating his special food. While Cody just wagged his tail a sign that he was happy to call his name and still enjoy his lunch.

"It's papi uda cooking soup, sauteing broccoli and rice. We had lunch and went to the village. We buy vegetables and onions, we have BBQ tonight." Said Arion while preparing food for Leon and himself.

"Wow, it turns out papi's a cook." Praise Leon so much sipping the still hot soup.

"No dear. papi can only cook simple, this is thanks to cooking spices made the same opa Fane, he will have made broth in the form of a healthy powder specifically for you." Arion and Leon replied with a small laugh as he had also just tasted the cooking of his papi.

"If you are tired on the way, papi, let us rest because we are also not in a hurry."

"Yes papi. abis this Leon want to go for a walk first with Cody, kasian he sleeps continuously in the car."

"Yes, it'll be the same, but Cody can't be taken off, keep going in the bag if we go to the market."

"Ready.."

Finished eating and resting, Arion lowered his modified motorbike to be able to walk in a rocky or mud mountain area, with a closed basket in the back to easily carry the items needed.

Cody was forced to put in a special backpack so as not to disturb villagers who might not be comfortable with him later.

Arion only buys some cucumber and lettuce for his vegetable intake, then some fresh freshwater fish to burn later.

"That's called arumanis, or something called cotton sugar, would you?" Arion and Leon asked.

"Mas, 1 yeah make a new 2 colors." Pinta Arion and mas sellers painstakingly create a new and jumbo at Leon's request who is amazed at the manufacture of cotton sugar.

"Thank you..." Said Leon with a beautiful smile and wearing sunglasses, Arion did not want his son in a strange look so he told him to wear sunglasses, like himself.

"No boy?" Asked Arion and Leon who were still cool with the sweet sugar just nodded because it was biting the cotton.

Arion laughed as it was nice to see Leon who had just this time seen the outside world, finished their shopping back on the bus. Arion wasn't afraid to let the bus go because he knew the bodyguards would keep following them.

"Bapi take a nap, you don't go anywhere." Arion and Leon nodded, he will only watch television because his favorite show will be aired soon.

It did not feel like a week of their journey and Arion was deliberately more relaxed in this adventure because it brought Leon who was 5 years old. If he would normally walk at night and rest during the day, then this is the opposite. If he is tired he will stop because he does not want to make his son wretched.

"Bapi, soon there will be a beach." Leon and Cody sat on his lap.

"Son, not on that beach. The water is not good, in the next 1 hour there is a beautiful beach with blue water and white sand." Reply Arion and Leon immediately look for it, he tinkers at the GPS and finally found it even 48 minutes later they will reach the beach.

Leon is smart and only 2 times taught to read maps he immediately understood and explored himself looking for a suitable place for them to stop and enjoy the atmosphere.

From before they only in mountainous and forest areas, this second week Arion invites Leon to go to the beach to enjoy the warm sea breeze during the day. Fortunately, they had stopped in town Y and bought swimming and snorkeling needs.

"Leon. look." Call Arion as soon as they are almost there and have seen the sea before their eyes. Leon who was just about to fall asleep immediately rounded his eyes.

"Wow!! This is great papi!" Shouted Leon then sat up straight to clearly see the vast sea.

"But find a parking spot first.." Arion then slowly drove and looked around and finally found a suitable spot, there were 2 shady trees by the beach, although not too close but the tree was very shady.

"Come on, kid, but slow down. Don't get too tired ok!" Arion warns when Leon has gone down first and runs with Cody. Sometimes if Arion is busy cooking or mending, there will be Cody as Leon's friend and he is grateful to the smart dog.

"Aahhh hahahah... Cody don't go there. hahah.." Leon's laughter sounded crisp, Arion watching him from afar while lowering their gear. Maybe he'll be here a few days, because he saw that shade tree.

Arion's idea comes up, he takes out a long beach cloth he bought at the Y city market and ties it on each side of the two trees and becomes a hammock that is just enough for Leon. He roasted it up and under it he rigged his own hammock.

"That's enough for Cody." Said Arion while lowering the basket with Cody's soft pillow. He has seen the weather forecast and will not rain for the next few days. Hope so!

It was late afternoon, Arion who was very tired just wanted to relax. Today was the day that Arden's bodyguards came to clean the bus, from septitank and water, to thorough cleaning, changing bed linen and clothes, filling up groceries.

"Mother, you can cook dinner later on, whatever suits Leon." Arion said as the bodyguard and a servant mother would take the bus away. Usually will return within 2-3 hours and this time Arion used to rest. While Leon is still cool playing with Cody on the beach but not to touch the water, Arion just monitors them from his place while enjoying the wind that is enough to make him sleepy in the afternoon.

"But you want to sleep?" Ask Leon who is approaching.

"Yes son.. Are you too?" Arion and Leon nodded. Arion raises Leon on his hammock and Cody is in position and they fall asleep due to the wind in the afternoon.
