Karatan Bad Boy
Part 25#Mother and Son

Hate to say he still hasn't moved on but it is. Though it is clear at this time Ashana's life is calm and happy with a new family with other love. While he himself is only busy working with single status just a time-busting that increasingly feels tired.

Busyness from morning to morning is quite a powerful distraction. People say time heals wounds. That saying is quite misleading. Wh why? For it is not the time of assurance but sincerity and peace in heart, soul and mind.

Sometimes the saying is used so that humans can become beings who realize tolerance. But sometimes as an imperfect human being, the ego is still grasped without thinking it is good or not. At its core is the always mature process of self-introspection with acceptance of every phase of life.

The sound of knocking on the door diverted Kai's daydream who sat tired with a disheveled face. I want to go back to sleep but I can't. He saw a clock on the wall that showed five o'clock less than fifteen minutes in the morning. It was time to worship, hands shaking a thick soft blanket.

Then get down from the bed. The sound of knocking on the door is always the second alarm in every morning. Without delay, he went to clean himself up. While the woman outside the room smiled sweetly after hearing the sound of footsteps from inside the room. Relieved that his son was awake.

"I'd better get Kai's favorite breakfast ready" he muttered and left the doorstep of the son's room.

A mother's happiness only falls on the lives of their children but in the corners of her innermost heart is still empty. All hope was immediately stopped, used to have dreams as high as the sky but now only wishful thinking remains. How to expect something that his own son already does not want to listen to.

Footsteps climb the plain white floor that has been the place to stand for the last few years. As a mother, she tried to understand the wounds of the son's heart but which mother wanted to see her only son single. Worries certainly increase when friends from Kai already have a baby.

An hour later. Kai who just sat in the chair received the attention of the mother who swiftly scooped the rice, then poured vegetable stir-fry kale and his favorite grilled fish. The blackish red color of the fish with a spicy aroma that makes its appetite increase.

The sparkling eyes look as if getting the most delicious dish of a lifetime, "Mother is really good, early in the morning already making grilled fish for Kai."

"So you've been no good all along, huh?" ask Mom to tease her son. Kai grinned as he brandished both fingers to form a peace sign of peace. "When do you take time off work?"

"Blum knows, Mom. Still want to spend money first, why do you ask about holidays? Where are you going to take me?" ask Kai back while wiping his hands before starting to enjoy his morning breakfast.

A moment of silence followed to take an empty plate, then fill it with a little rice, vegetables without side dishes. Then sit across, where faced with Kai who has started to enjoy the food so deliciously. Seeing that, he did not want to change the atmosphere just because of the ego of a mother.

"We eat first, so the pleasure can be a blessing." break up Mother made Kai nod despite being curious about what her single parent wanted to say.

Fifteen minutes later, the breakfast session ended with a cup of black, unsweetened coffee that Kai was accustomed to. Coffee increases adrenaline rather than drinking alcohol. So he chose coffee as the best choice to give the mood of the morning spirit.

But even so still follow the rules of health. Where to drink coffee after breakfast and not before breakfast. Moreover, history records that the discovery of coffee as a nutritious and energy drink was first discovered by the Ethiopians on the African Continent about 3000 years (1000 BC) ago.

She stared at the serious mother without blinking, "Mom, is there anything Kai should know?"

Intentions want to forget his goal after thinking about it again and again, but the son's gaze insists he must be straightforward. Although she was a mother, Kai became the head of the family after her husband, Kai's father, died of state duties. He felt the figure of a grown man taking over the joy of his only son.

"Look, Kai. I had to check the plantation land that the late Mas Teguh bought a few months ago, so for that I got a permit to Indonesia. At least stay for two months." explained Mother without further ado and impressed so convincing.

A strawberry farm purchased from one of the landlords. I don't know how many hectares but obviously his father wanted the plantation to be processed properly just it's impossible to let the mother travel alone. He could not bear because all this time always went both even though it was to the brother's house though.

A moment to think what to do because the mother looks so hoping to get permission from him. "Look, wait for me to come home today, and then we'll see what it's like. Don't worry, I'll try to monitor the plantation from here for a while."

"The problem isn't just that, Kai. Month ngadain seven monthly thanksgiving son-in-law, when yes mother did not present as the oldest sister? Not too good, Kai." persuaded Mother Star increasingly staring at Kai softly made the son sigh slowly.

The habit of the parents yes like that, requires coming at every event and as a child try to compensate. But his job could not get leave as quickly as turning the palm so he thought hard to please his mother but did not neglect the responsibilities of a child.

"Mom may go but don't stay in our old house. Especially nginep in a budhe house or lek sir. Kai will arrange everything, now let your son earn his living first. Assalamu'alaikum, my beautiful mother." Kai got up from his seat, then reached out to welcome the mother whom he had so fondly kissed.

The footsteps walking away from the dining table left the mother smiling happily because her son had agreed. Wherever the residence Kai arranged, he knew the son would provide the best facilities as usual. Meanwhile, Kai himself just entered a white sports car that has always been his vehicle to leave for the hospital.

Bluetooth earphones are well installed and connected to the phone lying in the middle. One hand was busy checking the luggage while the other hand was looking for a number that he could ask for help. The ringing sound was heard for quite a while but there was no answer.

Several times I tried to call again. Unfortunately nil, "Astagfirullahaladzim, where's the child, tho?"
