Kama And Kimi

No longer awkward

Kama was in the hospital. He asked the receptionist and ran towards the direction that was being delivered. She stopped when she saw Kimi sleeping on the bench with her aunt's head stroking.

Walk slowly towards them. Kama stopped right in front of Kimi and watched her from above. His legs were bent and staring at a face he had never seen in person for almost three years.

"Kam, please take care of Kimi for a moment. I want to go to this hospital cafeteria first" Kama nodded his head in agreement, he took over Kimi's head to put it on his thigh.

"It's been a long time. Very, I never saw Kimi's head on my lap. And now he's in my lap. Why is this fate so complicated. In the past, I really didn't like it when Kimi fell asleep like this. But now, I'm kind of finding 1 billion." He muttered inwardly as he continued to stare at Kimi from above.

"It's so awkward that I'm going to crush lo Kim's head" His hand swung in the air.

Kama also did not stroke Kimi's head because Bi Re came.

"Kam, pillow, let your thighs not hurt" said Bi Re while handing over the pillow he had asked the nurse at this hospital.

Lifting Kimi's head and putting a pillow under her head. Kama stood up and invited Bi Re to sit down.

"Where are you going?"

"I want to go to the toilet" Bi Re nodded and ate the food he bought.

Kama walked quickly to the toilet. Passing through the toilet hall and opening one of the doors there.

Wash his face and look at the mirror.

"Who am I?"

"Why does it feel so different?"

Heard her breathing gasping while staring into the direction of the mirror back. Feeling calmer, Kama wiped her face with a tissue and walked out of it.

She faintly saw her parents walking hurriedly towards her.

"Mama, Papa"

"Kama, "

"Where is Jessy? And where is Kimi? Why are you here?" Ask her mother.

"Kimi slept ma, accompanied by her aunt. Sleeping on the front bench of the ICU."

"Kimi," he said softly as he looked at Kimi who was asleep from a near direction. He crouched down and looked at the face of his son's best friend.

His hands shook Kimi's head. He felt what Kimi felt.

Papa Kama talks about what happened to Mama Jessy to Bi Re. Quite far away from his wife when he spoke. While Kama, he folded his hands on his stomach with his eyes that could not be separated from Kimi and also his mother.

Tears fell on Kimi's cheeks. He woke up and vaguely saw Mama Kama's face. Kimi got up to sit down and rubbed her eyes.

"Kimi, "

"Tante, "Kimi immediately hugged Mama Kama's body tightly.

"Can auntie be here?" Ask after taking off her arms.

"Kama who told auntie dear" Kimi also turned her eyes to the figure of the man in front of her. Awkwardly he said hello.

"Hi Kam" Kama just nodded his head slowly.

"Here sit aunty" Mama Kama was sitting next to him.

"Hi om, long time no see" Kimi stood up when he saw Papa Kama and his aunt walking towards him.

Kimi hugged him for a while and let go.

"Let's sit here, om"

"Where do you want to sit?

"There are still many other benches om, I can sit on the bench there" Papa Kama nodded and sat beside his wife.

Kimi sat on another bench and felt her pants pocket. But what is sought is not.

"Where's the phone?" Still searching in all his pants pockets.

Kama approached, sitting next to Kimi.

The awkwardness still hit them. There was no sound and only the sound of wheels from wheelchairs broke the silence between them.

"Why can aunty like that?"

Kama nodded her head a little. The atmosphere was silent again without any conversation going on between them.

"Kimi, let's eat first." Said Bi Re who was already in front of them.

"Oh, what's Bi?" Bi Re smiled.

"Let's eat, you haven't eaten since lunch, have you?" Kimi shook her head slowly.

"Eat it let's eat." Kimi nodded and stood up.

"You didn't bring your friend?"

"He? Oh yes Bi. Emm let's eat Kam" Kama just smiled and he stood up.

They walked to the canteen of this hospital. Only Kimi and Bi Re had a conversation. While Kama just kept quiet and assented when Bi Re asked for an opinion from him.

"What do you want to eat?"

"It's up to you" Kimi nodded.

"Mbak 2 servings of instant noodles plus eggs yes"

"What fry do I fry?" Kimi turned her head towards Kama, her eyes asking her for an opinion.

"Fruit it" The waiter lowered his head slightly and passed into the kitchen cooking his noodles.

It does not take long to present its instant noodles.

"Please mbak, mas. Enjoyed" said the waiter politely.

"Before Kim, Auntie wants to take the call first" Kimi nodded.

Kama and Kimi eat quietly. There was no talk and there was only a fork, a spoon, a clashing plate.

"You used to love making me instant noodles right Kim?" That speech that is getting longer makes the awkwardness between them begin to fade.

Kimi laughed when she heard it.

"really so. Can not cook, just make instant noodles. But it's delicious, right?" Kama laughed crisply.

"Can you cook another one now?"

"Can dong, omelet jagaonya" he said proudly.

They chatted, laughing, until they didn't realize Bi Re was sitting next to him.

"Do not joke and laugh constantly, later you know" said Bi Re who immediately made Kama and Kimi turned to him.

"Since when has your aunt been here?"

"Since last night" he said, and there was only a whimper of both.
