Just a Nanny

Just a Nanny
Mother Why, Mom?

Along the way to his house, Julia did not dare to open her voice. The girl's gaze continued towards the glass window on the left.

"Don't think about it, why am I taking you home!" said Dr. Arman who sounded sniffy. "Because the sky is dark, mama is forcing me to chase after you and drive you home" he continued with a straight forward look.

Julia looked at the handsome doctor, but was cold and then nodded. "Thank you for taking me, Doc," Julia said, sincerely.

No more talking between the two of them, silence was created in the cabin of Doctor Arman's luxury car.

Julia again focused on looking to the left, where there were many multi-storey buildings lined up neatly along the road that passed.

Thirty minutes passed, silence still enveloping the cabin of the car.

"Julia, my offer still stands. If you change your mind, call me right away" the obstetrician said, unraveling the silence.

Yes, Dr. Arman was forced to say this because he continued to be urged by his lover and also his mother.

After Julia left her study, Dr. Arman contacted her boyfriend.

"Hello, honey," said Doctor Arman.

"Yes, Honey. How were you talking to that nanny?" ask Renata across the phone.

Doctor Arman took a deep breath. "He refused, Ta," replied Asa's father.

"How come? Aren't you offering her a good life, honey?" that Disappointed Renata sounded disappointed.

"Already, Honey. I promised him more spending money, but he still refused" replied Dr. Arman.

"Then, promise another luxury, Arman. Home, car or whatever, the important thing is he's willing. I'll give it to her if Julia wants to marry you. However, you must remember .. her duty is only as Asa's nanny!" renata.

"Ta, why don't you, honey. Learn to be ...."

"Sorry, Honey. I'm still busy, we'll keep going next time" said Renata, before Dr. Arman finished his words.

"You'll have to offer the nanny again, honey," Renata continued a bit forcefully.

"Yes, I will try" replied Dr. Arman, resigned. He then hung up the phone.

The man about thirty years old was pensive. To be honest he did not like the idea, married but only used Julia to be his daughter's nanny.

Doctor Arman just wants to marry Renata and hopes, his lover will learn to accept his only daughter.

A few minutes passed, Doctor Arman's daydream came to a halt when the mother's voice sounded.

"Arman," call Ms. Ratna.

"Yes, Ma" his father Asa replied, turning to the source of the voice.

"The sky was suddenly cloudy, Arman, while Julia had just walked out of this house. Mama's worried, if she's raining on the street. Follow him, Arman, and deliver him to his house" said Bu Ratna as he approached the son.

"He's an adult, Ma. Julia'll be able to take a taxi," declined Bu Ratna's youngest son.

"Arman, come! You can persuade him to come back" said Ms. Ratna. "Tie him down with a little attention, Arman," the twilight woman continued, persuading the son.

Doctor Arman breathed a heavy sigh. 'Why, people! Everyone persuaded me to marry that little girl!' grunts in the heart.

It is true, the appearance of Julia is simple, certainly very much different when compared to Renata who money and of course do expensive treatments at beauty clinics.

Julia, with natural beauty and without makeup polish and simple clothes. While Renata, always polishing his thick face with cosmetics that cost millions of dollars and clothes and accessories that he wore, all branded goods.

Julia was surprised, the girl could not say anything hearing the words of the father of her foster children.

"You still have my card, right?" dr. Arman asked, turning to Julia at a glance.

The round-eyed girl nodded slowly.

"I hope you consider my offer carefully" asked Dr. Arman. "I'll give you a house and a car, and pay for your sister's school if you accept the offer to marry me" she continued.

Julia shakes. "That's not what I want, Doctor." Julia's voice rang out, as if holding back the anger in the chest.

Of course Julia was very angry because she felt humbled by Doctor Arman's offer just now. A marriage that was supposed to unite two people who loved each other, to build a happy household, but was instead toyed with by Doctor Arman.

"Didn't all women want that happiness and luxury, Julia?" asked the man who was sitting on the driver's seat, sounding cynical.

"It's true, Doctor, but that happiness, not just because of possessions" Julia replied.

Their conversation comes to a halt, when Doctor Arman's luxury car enters the courtyard of Julia's modest family home.

The legged girl immediately descended which was followed by Doctor Arman.

"Thank you very much, Doctor," said Julia sincerely while cupping both hands in front of the chest.

The cold doctor just nodded.

They both still stand in Julia's courtyard. The girl did not enter immediately because she was waiting for Doctor Arman to leave, but it seems that Asa's father is still at home standing there.

"Didn't you want to take me in?" doctor Arman asked, making Julia surprised.

"Eh .. yes, Doc. B-but my house is narrow, Doc," said Julia stammered.

"I just wanted to meet your mother and thank you for letting you work as my daughter's nanny." Doctor Arman looked at Julia with a hard-to-understand look.

"Well, Doc. Come on, please." Julia immediately led the guest into the house.

"Mom-mother" called Julia to her mother, after she opened the door of her unlocked home.

"Please sit down, Doc. I will call my mother, maybe she is in the front stall," said Julia, inviting Doctor Arman while pointing to a foam chair whose color is worn.

"When Dika, Dik," called Julia to her sister, opening the door to her sister's room. 'No, where is he? It's a holiday, right?' the girl wondered in her heart.

"Mom, is Juli home?" ask a teenager who just came into the house. The teenager then approached Dr. Arman.

"Where are you from, brother? Is Mom in the stall? Mom's not on vacation, is she? Is this Sunday?" lissar Julia with many questions to her sister, after Dika greeted the adult male who sat alone in the living room.

"Mother's home, Ma'am. Mother had been selling for several days because of illness," Dika replied as she approached her sister and then kissed the back of her brother's hand.

"Nih, Dika just from the pharmacy to buy medicine for Mom," he continued, showing the plastic bag he was about.

"You don't love the same news, anyway, Dik, if mom is sick," protested Julia who rushed to the mother's room, the girl to forget the whereabouts of Doctor Arman.

Dika followed the older brother's long steps, entering his mother's room.

"Mother! What's the matter, Mom?"
