Weni looked shocked by what Melia said to her.

"Honey.. Mommy will not take sides between you or Antara because mother already considers you as her own child. Mommy knows what you are feeling right now but. can Mommy ask you to think about it one more time?!"

"It's only temporary, son. Karin has given birth and now Antara no longer has obligations to Karin," continued Weni.

"But, Bun. It's not that after Karin gives birth they'll get any closer! There's a kid who makes them connect with each other, Bun!" melia stared at the mother-in-law.

"How about you go with your mother to the hospital.we'll see Karin's son. Pity the child, still small but already have to feel the pain of the infusion needle," said Weni imagine the grandchild that until now could not be seen.

Weni invites Melia along with her to see baby Karin. Weni hopes that Melia will come with her to the hospital, so that the communication between the child and his daughter-in-law can be re-awakened.

"Then..why isn't she with Karin? Not that after giving birth the baby will be given to the mother!" said again.

"If the weight is not too low than other babies but still he must be in the incubator and get intensive care because it was born before birth. There are some organs of the body that are not ready to fully support their lives from outside the stomach,"

"The function of his organs was not 100 percent functioning properly even though a few hours before the operation, Karin was given an injection of lung ripener for the baby in his stomach but, still, he got some help, a tool, both from breathing with oxygen and for the sonde hose that makes it easier for him to drink his mother's breast," Weni explained.

Melia is still faithfully standing behind the NICU room where Karin's son and her husband are being cared for. He looked seriously at her with a frown signaling so many questions after questions that flashed through his mind at this moment.

Melia was still staring at the tiny baby girl who only wore diapers with her eyes closed by special glasses used to protect her eyes.

"The doctor said Karen was yellow and had to be phototherapized with UV light for the next few days" Antara said.
