Jayakusuma Tirta

Jayakusuma Tirta
the Road to Ijen

They walked down the corners of the old city hand in hand.

After being tired, Iza invited to sit on a park bench located a bit away from the crowd of visitors.

On that occasion, Tirta conveyed the task of deepening Kanuragan knowledge by traveling to the crater of Mount Ijen.

"I follow you Ta," said Iza spoiled.

"If you follow, even I did not deepen the knowledge of Kanuragan, we even had a honeymoon there," Tirta teased with a smile.

"Ih, now you flirt Ta ! said Iza while pinching the young man's waist.

"But no papa, it's exciting honeymoon there !" answer Iza expectantly.

"But don't be Izaaa, it's not time yet! pamali atuh, next time yes," said Tirta again.

"Tomorrow if I'm married, I want to walk alone with you to a beautiful place Ta.." Iza Rajuk..

Tirta nodded as she clasped her soft body next to her and kissed her beautiful fragrant hair with a feeling of affection.

That afternoon they both sat and enjoyed the twilight in the old city until entering Maghrib time.

Then Tirta invited to a restaurant in the area to fill the stomach that had begun to rebel asked in the contents.

The day went on when Tirta and Iza returned to the streets of Semarang which was quite crowded that night.

Tirta steered his motorbike towards Pahlawan Street, a street in the center of Semarang.

A street where young people in Semarang spend a long night just hanging out enjoying the weekend.

Tirta took Iza down and sat down on this Hero's road.. Iza himself has never hung out on this street, although he knows this street where the young people of Semarang city spend the night .

Understandably girl, it would be very bad if it was in a place like this without anyone escorting her. And now he has someone to guard and take care of him .

And it turns out hanging out like this is a fun thing, especially with a lover of the heart.

***

Today Tirta, Bayu, Adnan and Mahardika depart to Mount Ijen in Banyuwangi through the streets of Pantura.

They plan to travel leisurely while looking for experience.

The four of them drive a black Toyota Alphard with Tirta acting as Driver.

Traveling is a lot of fun for young people their age.

The young soul who is full of adventure and a sense of wanting to conquer everything is still so passionate.

From Semarang they entered the city of Demak and stopped at the Demak mosque. A mosque relics of the spreaders of Islam that is during the kingdom of Demak Bintoro stood firmly his and led by Raden Patah with supported by Walisongo. This mosque was built in the 15th or 1401 century Saka. After from the Great Mosque of Demak they headed to the tomb of Sunan Kalijaga which is approximately two kilometers from the Great Mosque of Demak.

After the pilgrimage to the tomb of Kanjeng Sunan Kalijaga in Kadilangu, then they continued their journey towards the Holy city.

The distance between Demak to Kudus itself is not too far, only less than half an hour, or less than twenty kilometers.

Once in Kudus city which is famous for the city of Kretek, they took the time to stop by also to the mosque of Menara Kudus, a mosque relics of Sunan Kudus.

The journey then continues to the city of Pati, a city also known as Hogwarts Van Java, or a city full of Mystic.

In the city of Pati they headed to the tomb Saridin or Syech Jangkung which is very famous among the people of the coastal land of Java as a student Sunan Kalijaga who used his whole life in spreading Islam.

Saridin's tomb is scattered everywhere, in Palembang, Cirebon also in the kulon Progo DIY. But I don't know which one is really Saridin's tomb or Jeongkung's syech.

Saridin's tomb in Pati itself is located in the village of Landoh Kayen sub-district which is approximately 17 kilometers to the south of the city of Pati. Directly to Grobogan district.

Once in the prison Saridin was free to go in and out of prison because Saridin easily passed through prison bars. Also because of the Duke's decree that allowed Saridin to go and go to prison if he could.

After the tomb Saridin or syech Jangkung they then headed to Margoyoso sub-district, visiting the village of Kajen where there is a tomb spreader of other Islamic religion, namely the tomb of the syech Ahmad Muttamakin who is a Waliyullah, a person who likes to explore the religious sciences. He lived around 1700.

Shech Achmad Muttamakin still has a lineage from the prince of Benawa, Jaka Tingkir, also from Ki Ageng Pengging..And the descendants of this Muttamaqin syech include Kyai Haji Hashim Asy'ari founder of Nahdlatul Ulama (union of Ulamas), who is also the parent of Kyai Haji Abdurrahman Wahid (in nukil of Syech Ahmad Muttamaqin genealogy in Google).

Shech Muttamaqin is also known as Sunan Kajen.

After being satisfied to tour the Pati area which does have a trace of the spreaders of Islam in Java, also traces of Javanese civilization in the Islamic Mataram kingdom.

And this is where his eyes once led Pati, and the son of Eyang Wasis Joyokusumo who continued the success of Pati pesantenan was Wasis Joyokusumo 2 or Duke Pragola 2 led all the people of Pati against the invasion of Mataram led by Sultan Agung with hundreds of thousands his army.

The Duke of Pragola was killed by the heirloom spear of Kyai Baru klinting.

To the citizens of Pati, Ki Pragola is a role model! He is a man of valour, a leader of Digdaya and loved by the people of Pati pesantenan. He died in the field as a real man.

Tirta, Bayu, Adnan and Mahardika then continue their journey again along the streets of Pantura.

The day before Magrib when they entered the city of Rambang.

In a small town on the border of Central Java and East Java. The city producing the great clerics in this country.

And on the outskirts of Rembang itself there is also Saridin's tomb as well, precisely in the village of Landoh approximately Seven kilometers from the city of Rembang towards Blora.

Residents of Landoh Rembang themselves call Saridin as Mbah Tauhid Mbah Punden.

After the Magrib prayer in the city of Rembang, they continued their journey back.

After driving for about half an hour, they arrived in Lasem.

Tirta immediately turned the car he was driving into a small street that turned out to be towards an old cemetery..

"Ta, where are you going, !" exclamation Bayu..

"I will take you to the tomb of Sunan Bonang's sister named Nyai Ageng Maloko" said Tirta.

Yes the tomb of brother Sunan Bonang is located in Lasem, precisely located approximately one kilometer before entering the city of Lasem from the direction of Rembang City. While the tomb of Sunan Bonang itself in the city of Lasem is only in the form of petillasan and pasujutan from Sunan Bonang.

After the tomb of Nyi Ageng Maloko, it was night. Actually they wanted to visit the firecracker Sunan Bonang in Bonang Lasem village, but because it was late at night so they decided to continue the trip to Tuban.

Bonang itself is the location of the spread of Islam by Sunan Bonang who has the original name Raden Maulana Makdun Ibrahim.

At midnight they reached the town of Tuban, the home town of Mahardika and eyang Pandu..

It turns out that the Mahardika House is in the middle of the city of Tuban, located approximately one kilometer from the plaza of Tuban city.

When they arrive at a house that is quite large and looks beautiful, Mahardika first gets out of the car.
