We've Alone

Tanisha slightly gasped in surprise hearing Devan call out by his full name. Because all this time he never told Devan about his full name.

"Ma-mas.," said Tanisha in a voice that began to tremble. He knew that today would come. But, Tanisha did not expect that Devan would find out first, before he could explain why he chose to hide his true identity.

"I want you to be honest, Sha! Is that why you're telling me the truth?" devan's hands clenched tightly under the table.

His heart ached even more when he saw the tears that fell from the pretty eyes of the girl. He wanted to embrace the body of his girl who began to tremble because of crying. However, all that he endured even though it was very difficult for him.

"I'm sorry, Mom. I'm sorry," said Tanisha, sounding so bitter in Devan's ear. His heart was like being slashed by thousands of razors that were so sharp.

"Can't you trust me all this time, Sha? I guess I've known you too far. But it turned out to be just me," Devan's tone sounded so full of disappointment towards the girl who was crying in front of him.

Tanisha was sobbing more and more in her tears. He did this not without reason.

"I've always hidden my identity, long before I knew you. I thought, with me being quiet and still behaving as usual, it was better" Tanisha began to give Devan some understanding.

"Better, you say Sha?" Devan grew furious at the thought of the girl. "You're always avoiding me if I want to meet your parents, Sha! I was serious with you from the beginning. Does all this love mean nothing to you? Is it because I'm just an ordinary person, that you're messing around with this flavor, Sha? Is there not a genuine love for me?" Devan could no longer hold back his tears. This was the first time she had shed tears for the woman she loved. And that made Tanisha feel guilty.

"So you've been thinking I'm a stranger all this time? That's what you mean, Sha?" Devan smiled wryly. Laughing at himself who was judged like that by the girl who owned his heart.

"That's not what I mean, Mom!" Tanisha was aware of the wrong word he said.

Devan did not expect, if all this time Tanisha thought like that about him. His efforts have been considered a joke by Tanisha.

"We've finished our love story that you never took seriously," with a heavy heart, Devan finally issued a sentence that made his heart even more sliced.

"No, Mom! I don't want us to separate" Pinta Tanisha. Now he's moving in right next to the man he loves so much. His hand held Devan tightly, hoping that the man would change his unilateral decision.

"For what's in the line, Sha. If there is a lie in it. Didn't I say from the beginning, no matter what happens between us, we have to be open and honest with each other. But what are you doing, Sha. You didn't trust me all this time." Devan could no longer bear to see his girl crying in front of him.

Then Devan gently pulled Tanisha's body into his arms. He felt the pain he had received from a lie by Tanisha Elajar. Devan felt himself unneeded by this girl.

His pride is further hurt when he finds out who the girl really is. Devan felt unworthy to be with one of the most influential families in the country, even overseas.
