Episode 34 [Determination]

The scorching sun shone wide across the City. The hot weather accompanied by the commotion that occurred at the Gard residence made the atmosphere feel stifling.

"How could you do such a thing, Floryn Lawrence!?" snapped the Grandfather suddenly made the woman's body tremble violently.

Nata sipped a glass of coffee served specifically for him.

"Nata, we better go. Just let him be here alone" Harwell interrupted, who then took Nata out of the living room.

Not long after, Floryn came back with the results of her gynecological test. He ran to his grandfather's room with a happy feeling.

The middle-aged man had closed the door again, and Floryn spontaneously stopped him.

"She said, my son. In– he can be the successor of this family later, because he is a boy. Grandfather couldn't possibly waste a male successor, could he?" the woman was full of hope.

The Grandfather was silent for quite a while once he heard that the child conceived by Floryn was a boy.

Dinner arrived, the entire Gard family gathered at the dining room's large table. They all seemed silent to each other, making the atmosphere become silent.

But the silence ended as soon as the grandfather opened his mouth and said something to his family.

"Floryn is pregnant with a boy. Most likely her son will be the successor to this family, which means it is less likely that he will be expelled from this house," she said, making some people stop chewing their food.

"Unless Nata is pregnant with a boy, too" he continued, staring at the woman named Nata.

The woman then put the fork and spoon she used to eat.

However, their conversation turned out to be only up to that point.

After dinner, nobody talked about Floryn last night. They were seen going to their rooms to rest.

Meanwhile, Nata and Harwell were sitting in his room thinking about something.

They are considering how to quickly have children and the child is male.

"Nata, you know what we're gonna do tonight?" harwell asked as he rubbed the woman's face in front of him.

Nata just nodded. The man then undid all the clothes Nata was wearing. So did he, and made them completely naked.

The morning sun burst through Nata's room. He awoke to realize that the day had changed. The naked man fell asleep right next to him.

He didn't wake or touch the man. Nata decided to immediately head to the bathroom room to clean his body.

After a long time busying himself with soap and water filled with soap, suddenly a message entered his phone.

After a long conversation, the two decided to order a drink that could be a conversation companion that afternoon.
