Is There Still a Chance ???
The Son of the Shit Carrier

"Assalamu'alaikum Ma'am" ! greet Desi.

"Wa'alaikumussalam" ! mira answered Desi's mother. "Tumben today you came home quickly" ? his mother said cynically.

"Iya Bu, he had gone home on a motorcycle with brother Dhika" he said.

"Good, now quickly you wash the dishes and iron the clothes yesterday".

"Good Ma'am", replied Desi (later walking towards the kitchen leaving her mother).

Finish washing the dishes, then he ironed the clothes. Suddenly, the voice of his mother shouted to his name.

"Desi, hurry here" cried his mother.

He rushed to his mother. Arriving in front of his mother, he said: "yes ma'am, what's wrong" ? ask Desi.

"what's wrong" said his mother. "You pura - pura forgot hah, ibu was telling you to iron mother's clothes, well now where's the clothes" ? snapped mother.

"Yes Ma'am, it's again ironed his shirt" Desi replied (while lowering his face for not daring to look at his mother's angry face).

"You are his work always incompetent and slow, you useless child" his mother sarcastically.

"I'm sorry Mom, next time I'll finish my job faster" Desi replied with glazed eyes.

Suddenly his mother smelled an unpleasant smell. "You what is this" ? ask mother. Instantly Desi remembered the iron that had been delayed. Then he ran with a feeling of was - was. Arriving at his ironing spot, he saw a concerning sight. It turns out his mother's clothes were hollow because he had forgotten to turn off the iron due to rush.

His mother who saw Desi running was curious. He followed Desi. Arriving at the place where Desi was standing crying, then his gaze fell towards the iron that had caused smoke.

"Jeez, my favorite dress" said her mother.

"Sorry Mom, I didn't accidentally" Desi replied in tears.

"You are a child who doesn't know yourself, you're an unlucky carrier" his mother said.

"You know, that shirt was a gift your father gave me on my mom's birthday and now you've ruined it" she explained.

"Yes Ma'am" (often nodding her head) she replied in tears.

After his mother left, Desi looked back at his mother's clothes that had been damaged.

"Dad forgive me. I've ruined the gift father gave to mother" Inner Desi.

"Why did you leave me so soon ? Does he not love me anymore ? Am I really the son of the unlucky father" ? lirih Desi's.

"Dad knows that since my father left, my mother changed and always blamed me for my father's departure" Desi lamented about her current fate.

The next day, as usual, Desi had to finish homework before leaving for school. Today he did not eat breakfast and did not bring provisions to school because of the punishment given by his mother. After his work was done, he was ready - ready to go to school. After a few minutes, he told his mother to go to school on foot.

On the way, he met Andhika. Andhika who saw Desi walking to school then stopped her motorbike right beside Desi.

"Let Des go with me" Andhika said.

"Ehhh no need brother" replied Desi.

"Well, how come your face is so pale Des ? You sick" ? andhika asked with a fixed look and noticed Desi's pale face.

"It's okay - what sis, maybe just exhausted" Desi replied in an impassioned tone.

Suddenly his head was dizzy and he vomited. Andhika who saw this, then pulled over and got off the bike.

"It's okay - what about Des ? your face was pale and now you are vomiting" Andhika said in a worried tone.

"You had breakfast" ? asked Andhika while giving her a bottle of drinking water.

"Not yet brother" replied Desi.

"Then let's go to school as soon as we have breakfast in the same cafeteria so that your stomach is not empty and have the energy to learn today" said Andhika (while helping Desi to ride his bike).
