Invicibles
The Snow Wind Continent

The night slowly settled quietly and bright stars began to appear.

On the hillside, a child of about six years old was standing in a strange position. The child's feet were stretched out, the toes touched the ground with the heel raised, the hands held high above the head, his head tilted, and a faint spiritual energy constantly revolved within his small body.

The moonlight illuminated, enveloping the child's body.

The boy continued his training in this strange position, inhaling spiritual energy into his body, allowing it to flow along his meridians.

The night slowly passed.

As the moonlight faded, replaced by the first rays of sunlight, the child slowly lowered his palm. His eyes opened to reveal a deep, dark pupils that seemed to have a sharp golden glint deep within.

Huang Xiaolong inhaled a foul air, his eyes staring at the rising sun. From the day he was born to this day, it had been seven years since he came to this world. He began practicing the Body Metamorphose Scripture at the age of three. Now four years later, he had managed to reach the Third Stage: Palm Propping the Sky Gate.

In his previous life, his ancestors had trained under the banner of the Shaolin Temple and the Book of Body Metamorphosis was the legacy of his ancestors. As of now, Huang Xiaolong was unable to understand the reason why someone like him, who was praised as a martial arts expert of his time, was brought into this world.

And the thing that distressed Huang Xiaolong the most was that she woke up in the body of a newborn baby.

Huang Xiaolong looked at his thin little arms and smiled wryly. He had reached the age of seventeen in his previous life, and after fourteen years of hard work, he had successfully trained the Book of Body Metamorphosis up to the Ninth stage, after which he had successfully trained, but he could never imagine that he would have to start all over again.

At this moment, Huang Xiaolong heard the sound of soft footsteps coming from the direction of the hillside. Huang Xiaolong knew who it was without having to look over his shoulder and of course, immediately a soft child-like voice shouted: “Sister, I know you are here to see the sunrise. Mom and Dad looking for you.”

Huang Xiaolong looked over his shoulder and saw a beautiful five-year-old little girl with big round eyes and hair braided into two long braids, climbing a small hill. This little girl was Huang Xiaolong's sister, Huang Min.

Other than Huang Min, Huang Xiaolong had another brother, three years younger than him named Huang Xiaohai.

“Mom and Dad are looking for me?” Huang Xiaolong asked. "What's the problem?"

“I don't know.” Huang Min's voice was filled with innocence, “Brother, let's return. If we're late, then Mom and Dad will hit your ass!”

When Huang Xiaolong heard this, he smiled and squeezed Huang Min's cute little cheeks before saying, "Let's go,"

Huang Min rubbed the place where Huang Xiaolong pinched her small face, pouted then said with a frown, “Brother, you are truly full of hatred. I told you not to pinch my cheek!”

However, just as Huang Min finished speaking, his cheeks were once again pinched by Huang Xiaolong, who was laughing out loud as he fled. Huang Min chased after him while shouting, trying to chase after him.

"Brother, don't run!"

The brothers toyed all the way down the hill until they returned to the Huang Clan Manor located at the foot of the hill.

Even though he was already seventeen in his previous life, along with his sister Huang Min took out the child within him.

Soon, the brothers reached the Huang Clan Manor.

Returning to the manor, Huang Xiaolong headed straight to the main hall of the Eastern Courtyard. When he arrived at the main hall, there was a middle-aged, erudite-looking man in his mid-thirties wearing a white robe, sitting on the head chair. Next to him was a beautiful woman. This married couple were Huang Xiaolong's parents in this life: his father Huang Peng, and his mother, Su Yan.

"Dad, Mom, are you looking for me?" Huang Xiaolong asked as he walked into the hall.

Huang Peng raised his sharp eyebrows like a sword: "Where are you running this early in the morning?"

"It's okay. Don't scare the kid.” Su Yan interrupted with a smile: “More, in a few days you will be seven years old. It is time to awaken the martial spirit in your body. Your father and I are planning to take you to the Martial Hall for the resurrection ceremony.”

The revival of martial spirit? Huang Xiaolong fell silent for a moment.

In this world, a human had an existence called as a martial spirit within his body. The strength of human warriors was closely related to the talent of these martial spirits, and they were classed to be low, medium, and high; tenth and above grade martial spirits were considered to be extraordinary talent martial spirits, heaven-defying existences. The higher one's talent, the better it would be for their body to absorb the world's spiritual energy and become a powerful Warrior.

Nevertheless, there were also people born without martial spirits as well as those with crippling martial spirits, making them unable to practice. In the Martial Spirit World, these people were branded as trash!

Thus, Huang Xiaolong was led by Su Yan and Huang Peng to the Martial Hall of the Huang Clan Manor. When they arrived at the outer area of the sacred hall, it was already filled with people waiting with their children who wanted to awaken their martial spirit. Other than Huang Xiaolong, there were also other brothers from the Huang Clan Manor present.

!

An imposing middle-aged man stood in the middle of the Martial Hall; he had a square face and thick, thick eyebrows, and exuded an oppressive aura. This man was Huang Peng's elder brother, Huang Ming. He was also Huang Xiaolong's Eldest Uncle. Next to Huang Ming stood a boy the same age as Huang Xiaolong; the second son of Uncle Huang Ming, Huang Wei, who was also here for the martial spirit awakening ceremony.

Huang Peng and Su Yan led Huang Xiaolong to the center of the hall. Greeting Huang Ming, Huang Peng exclaimed: "Sister."

Huang Xiaolong followed their greetings and called out: "First Uncle."

When Huang Ming saw it was Huang Peng and Su Yan, his expressionless flat face slightly loosened, he nodded lightly and said: "You're here."

According to Huang Xiaolong's memories, he had never seen this laughing uncle. Huang Ming was in charge of the Huang Clan Manor Punishment and Discipline hall; therefore, he was an extremely strict person.

Huang Ming did not say a word after that, and Huang Peng knew his brother's temperament, not being offended.

Not long after Huang Xiaolong arrived, a warm laugh rang out from outside the hall. As Huang Xiaolong and the others turned to look, a healthy-looking old man surrounded by a group of people entered the hall. This old man was none other than Huang Xiaolong's grandfather, Huang Qide, the ruler of the Huang Clan Manor for the past forty years, the one who founded the Huang Clan.

"Old House Master!"

Upon Huang Qide's arrival, the Huang Clan Manor residents present in the hall quickly rushed over to pay their respects.

Huang Ming, Huang Peng and Su Yan also moved forward quickly: "Dad!"

Huang Xiaolong and Huang Wei both advanced forward: "Grandfather."

Huang Qide smiled, then nodded his head at Huang Ming's group before turning to face the other Huang Clan Manor's people -€ - he smiled and said: “Don't stand on ceremony. Today, I came just to look around. ” Normally, the Old Host would not appear during the martial spirit awakening ceremony in the Martial Hall, however, this year is special because of Huang Wei and Huang Xiaolong. This Old Host walked out of his closed retreat earlier than planned.

Huang Qide walked to the front of the main hall, his eyes sweeping through the crowd in the hall before finally stopping at a gray-robed old man standing beside him. Laughing kindly, Huang Qide said: "Since everyone is already here, let's start."

"Yes, Mr. Manor." The gray-robed old man replied respectfully, and then he walked to the center of the hall.

The gray-robed old man was the Chief Servant of the Huang Clan Manor, Chen Ying; Huang Xiaolong heard his father say that Chen Ying had been a follower of Grandpa Huang Qide since a long time ago - even before Huang Qide founded the Huang Clan Manor, he was already by grandfather's side.

Chen Ying stood in the center of the hall, a light shining in his hand, spreading incredible power around the hall.

Huang Xiaolong's eyes sparkled; was this the battle qi strength of a Ninth Order Warrior? Very strong! Even with his previous life force, after training in the Book of Body Metamorphosis until the ninth stage, he would still not be Chen Ying's opponent.

With Chen Ying channeling his battle qi, suddenly, in the middle of the hall, a bright hexagonal pattern shone, forming a beam of light.

"Huang Wei, you're the first." Huang Qide looked at Huang Wei.

“Ya, Grandpa.” Huang Wei answered and stepped forward into the hexagonal patterned beam of light. As a beam of light fell on Huang Wei, everyone in the hall focused on Huang Wei who was now standing within the beam of light. Huang Ming's normally expressionless face showed a hint of tension as he looked at his son.

A ray of light wrapped around Huang Wei for a moment before the black light took over, enveloping Huang Wei. Finally, a black shadow of a tiger gradually emerged from behind Huang Wei. It was a black tiger with three eyes. As the shape of the black tiger condensed and became more corporeal, the roar of the ferocious tiger resounded in the main hall.

Everyone is dumbfounded.

Huang Qide stared at the faint black shadow behind his grandson Huang Wei; his eyes shone brightly as he laughed out loud, overjoyed.

"This is a tenth grade martial spirit, a Three-Eyed Black Tiger!" Chief Steward Chen Ying shouted in a trembling voice.

A Three-Eyed Black Tiger martial spirit was considered to be one of the best among high-level martial spirits; it was by far the closest to becoming an outstanding martial spirit talent.

Huang Wei's martial spirit turned out to be a tenth grade martial spirit, the Three-Eyed Black Tiger!
