Chapters. 21 & Other Sides

Seeing what appeared was the superior, he panicked and immediately stood up. Jengki immediately turned off his cigarette in a hurry. He was removing the remaining cigarette smoke. Then he came out of the small room and approached Alan.

"Good afternoon Mr. Alan," Jengki said by putting his hands together to be respectful. He bent his body slightly to form a perfect respectful attitude.

Alan's?

Arash who was behind the door heard Jengki's voice calling Alan's name, became tense instantly. The door did not close perfectly. It makes Arash immediately raise his legs up to avoid being caught by Alan.

He did not want his disguise exposed. If at first he didn't want Alan to know he was disguised as a cleaning service, because of Sora and Alan's relationship ... this time he did not want the man to know because Arash wanted to investigate many things in the management body led by his friend.

"Oh, you, Jengki. Who are you with?" alan asked, looking around. This toilet is rarely visited because it is on the 2nd floor.

Jengki glanced at the half-closed toilet door. He knew Arash was there.

"New child. He came with me Sir," said Jengki as if to show that the new child he said was his ally. But even though Jengki gave the code, Alan still walked back and was about to break down the half-closed door. Arash, who knew the sound of Alan's footsteps, got closer, getting ready.

"But he moved to the toilet to the south" Jengki said quickly. I don't know why he made up stories. Arash inside the toilet was astonished by Jengki's actions of hiding him.

Why is he hiding me?

Alan stopped. Then look at Jengki. "So you're alone now?" ask Alan.

"Y-yes, Sir. Maybe later back here continue the work," said Jengki half nervous. His hands were suddenly cold.

"Mmc ..." Alan nodded his head. Then back to the toilet door where Arash was hiding. Arash tried not to sound anything. This guy still doubts if there's anyone there knows no. But he tried to ignore. "Didn't you see Sora?" ask Alan. Apparently he came to the toilet looking for the girl.

"No sir," Jengki replied without hesitation. "Maybe he's in the toilet over there." Jengki pointed at the other toilet.

"Yes, already. You see Mr Burhan often?" ask Alan.

"Not too sir, but yes still had time to meet," said Jengki.

The burhan? So this Jengki knows Mr Burhan? Arash who was behind the door kept listening to their chat carefully. This made Arash need to think hard again. Turns out Jengki's behavior because of the background he was an acquaintance of Mr Burhan?

"Oh, yeah. I want to talk about Sora" Alan said suddenly about the girl. "Maybe you don't know that he's my brother yet, so I think you should know how he is,"

"S-sora?" jengki asked surprised. There's something implied from Mr. Alan's tone.

"really. Greetings to Mr. Burhan, huh?" Alan patted Jengki's shoulder. "I'm leaving."

"Good Sir." Jengki leaned over to accompany the man's departure. Then Jengki raised her head after Alan moved away and left the toilet. After being sure the man's voice disappeared, Arash lowered his legs slowly. Then he pretended to keep brushing the toilet wall.

Brak! Jengki who approached the toilet door, directly pushed the door hard. Since this toilet is only fit for one person, the edge of the door hit Arash's arm.

"Hey! I know you eavesdropped, right?" jengki. Arash shook his head. "There's no way you didn't hear what Alan and I were talking about." Jengki.

"Mmm .. about that ... " Arash paused his sentence for a moment. "I don't want to eavesdrop, but I hear it." Arash confesses that he heard the conversation between Jengki and Alan.

"Damn!" yelled Jengki annoyed. Arash looked at Jengki who was expressing her annoyance in silence. "That's it. Quickly clean everything cleanly," Jengki ordered. He went back to where he had been relaxing.

"Sir Alan? She who?" Arash pretends not to know.

"He's our superior. People who are responsible for all jobs that deal with tenants and workers like us" explained Jengki. Apparently this man can explain well apparently. Arash nodded in understanding. "Maybe he looks good because of his handsome face, but I think he's scary."

Arash had wanted not to listen to Jengki's chatter earlier, but then he turned his head quickly to Jengki because of his interesting sentence.

"Thooky?" tanya Arash wanted Jengki to focus on that word.

"Yes." Yeah." It looks like Jengki is back playing the same domino game as before. Because the same sounds as before, are heard again.

"Isn't this senior Mr. Alan's favorite?" fishing rod Arash.

"Dreams? How do you know I'm a darling?"

"Emmm .. guess it," replied Arash. Though he can guess because of Jengki's own words. Also from the attitude shown by the man to a junior like himself. Is that not a darling? Is Jengki just a licker?

"Huh, I think I'm only considered close because I'm the one who was put in this mall by Mr. Burhan." Jengki grunting.

"Thus ... You're Mr Burhan's brother that Mr Alan was referring to?"

"Haha ... A brother? If I could be his brother. Unfortunately I became a man." Jengki laughed at Arash's question. Then what is the relationship between Jengki and Mr Burhan?  "Come on. You should clean the toilet. Don't just shut up!" jengki.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Arash immediately turned his body and returned to brushing the toilet.

“So you work here by what road? Did anyone offer you a job?” ask Jengki. He repeated the question. Turns out this means. Arash just got it.

“No. I'm just a lucky person to get this job from applying for a job, senior,” Arash replied while still doing his job. Sometimes he looked at Jengki behind him.

“You graduated High School?”

“Ya.”

“Oh, very lucky for you. If I really need someone else's help to get into this good place of work. Because I don't go to school, so I don't have a diploma.” Jengki smiled faintly. If he usually had a shitty face, this time his face looked sad.

Arash opened his eyes. He just found out there are some who are not school graduates who work here. Because today all workplaces ask for diplomas and age pegs to get employees.

If so, you should be diligent to work because you can get a job, Arash reproached in his heart.

“Not that senior was lucky too?” said Arash

Jengki. "You're mocking me?" ask Jengki riled.

"Of course not. If others enter here must use a diploma, seniors can already work without a diploma. Isn't that called lucky? Maybe a lot of people want to be like seniors who want to get into this mall without a diploma." Arash is a little encouraging. Although Jengki was annoying, this time the man looked pitying.

"You're right. A lot of people at my place say, I'm really cool getting into this nice mall." Jengki chattered cheerfully. It was as if a little boy was telling a story.
