Chapter 10 The runner

Bima's group began to enter a supermarket there, but after looking at the food there was scattered everywhere.

Although they can snack on things like bread, chips, and everything else, they miss the warm cuisine a lot. Therefore the three of them looked for spices in the supermarket, but because the surrounding is a small supermarket not all ingredients can be found, they agreed to look for them in the nearest traditional market.

The two of them went back downstairs from the building, and checked back on the shops he passed by.

Deo and Adi were in the middle of the stairs that went down to the first floor, in the middle of the room they saw a shadow that looked like a human, because it was quite dangerous Adi took the initiative to check the figure.

With widened eyes Adi was very shocked by the figure he saw, a monster with a height of two meters with the shape of a head and legs that did not look like a human.

If only they were not careful, they would certainly be hunted because the monster almost resembles a human if not looked carefully.

Adi shuts his mouth tightly and tells Deo not to be noisy with sign language. Understand with Adi's instructions, the two of them returned to the second floor by walking backwards and slowly.

With trembling legs they reached the end of the stairs and Deo accidentally nudged a broom nearby.

As the broom let out a sound, the monster began to get interested and approached the origin of the sound.

There was no other choice, they ran with great fear that made them quickly spend energy.

Arriving at the origin of the sound, the monster saw Deo and Adi running. Seeing that the monster was chasing the two of them at an unnatural speed, Adi who saw it suddenly pushed Deo not to be hit by the monster and shouted to continue running without looking back.

Deo did not understand Adi's orders and as he looked back, the monster pushed Adi with its speed to make him throw off the floor.

" Sister!"

Because Adi was only thrown from the second floor, he was very lucky to land on the car even though he got tremendous pain.

Deo kept running non-stop to make him out of breath, as much as possible he had to hide in a room to rest for a while.

Because of the loud noise that Adi made, Bima's group rushed towards the sound with anxiety along the way.

Deo who was constantly chased saw a red button next to the wall that was a few meters away where Deo was

Seeing the fire button, Deo approached and broke the glass that protected the button with his gun.

The button was pressed and made a noise with water coming out of the pipe above the ceiling of the building, the monster was distracted by the noise and made it slightly disturbed due to the slippery floor.

Deo took advantage of the moment to hide and rest in one of the rooms with a wet shirt.

On the other hand Bima and others try to help Adi who is in pain on the dented car.

" Please..you save Deo, he's in trouble in that building.and you also have to be careful with the monsters that chase Deo because the monster is very fast." Adi's Message.

" I see, Bima quickly lead Adi, we must go to a safe building to hide and for Aria to prepare your weapons we will see the results of your training all along."

By slowly filling Adi, the four of them managed to arrive at a rooftop in one of the nearby buildings. Aria prepares her sniper weapon right up to the building Deo is in, after Aria's ready weapon takes a deep breath and calms her mind to focus.

Deo who was hiding behind the table was terrified because the monster was standing right behind him with a sinister voice.

The monster then ransacked the furniture in the room, making Deo visible to him. The monster looked at Deo with a sinister smiling face.

Due to reflexes, Deo ran back towards the corridor where he had chatted with Adi before, and the monster was still chasing him non-stop.

Due to the monster that is starting to be seen, Aria prepares her index finger to immediately shoot the monster that is chasing Deo. Feeling ready, Aria pressed the trigger and produced a very loud sound.

Despite his precision in shooting, the monster managed to dodge and immediately went towards the direction Aria was in. With his speed the monster can climb the building by just running, and in a few moments later the monster managed to reach the top of the building where the four of them were.

Aria, Bima and Adi are very surprised to see monsters that can instantly find them. Seeing so many humans gathered, the monster intended to attack Aria who was right in front of him.

Seeing that Mr. Sudiarto hit the monster very hard to make it thrown and fell to the ground.

Deo, who saw it, shot him from the second floor in a row.

" Taste this fucking monster!"

" Adi, I'll borrow your gun for a second and Aria looks carefully at the monster, if you see a bright red core immediately to shoot it you understand?!"

Deo and Mr. Sudiarto were constantly shooting at the monster blindly. It could not be counted the bullets that the two of them had spent, but the plan seemed to have succeeded in opening the monster core to the surface.
