INAYAH (Replacement of Bride)

INAYAH (Replacement of Bride)
02. Go to the City

Kakkura'aoo's chat.

Faintly the ears of a girl caught the sound of a cock crowing in her sleep, Inayah's eyes slowly opened slowly as consciousness began to disturb her soul.

Inayah pulled the holster and folded it and arranged the pillow bolsters that he was wearing, his hands moved rubbed his eyes so that drowsiness drifted far away, he took a blue comb that was located on a small table that housed his personal equipment, Inayah began to comb her hair that has been tangled after waking up carefully so that her long hair does not fall out for free.

"what time is it?" ask him on self.

After combing and tying her hair, Inayah picked up the Nokia-branded button phone that was their communication tool, she pressed red on the phone button to turn on the phone to see the time.

"It's almost dawn" he murmured and stood up to go and purify himself.

"Mac'!" call him Dahlia.

When he opened the door of Dahlia's room, the middle-aged woman was no longer in his room. Inayah just continued her steps, because she knew and often got used to Dahlia who must have gone to the garden at this hour.

Inayah opened the door and started down the stairs while holding on to one of the woods that was provided to hold on when going up and down the stairs.

After reaching the ground, his feet began to step closer to a drum that was under the bottom to be buried in water. After Inayah ablaze, he returned to the house and unfurled the prayer rites to begin his prayer.

As usual, after finishing with his worship Inayah always went to the garden to catch up with Dahlia who had gone first.

On the way, Inayah's throat felt thirsty, her steps turned towards the small house in the garden to drink water and eliminate her thirst.

"Alhamdulillah," he said breathing a sigh of relief after the cold water passed through his throat.

This afternoon the sun does not shine, black clouds appear to decorate the blue clouds far above cover its beauty.

Suddenly the thunder rumbled startling Inayah from her nap and the rain fell.

"Rain!" he shouted hurriedly out of the house.

Quickly Inayah lifted all her clothesline hanging on the clothesline. After arriving at the top of the house, then Inayah breathed a sigh of relief and folded all the clothes that had been dry, especially her school uniform that had accompanied her during her education. Inayah folded her uniform neatly and put it in a red plastic that also housed her uniform at SD and SMP and then put it back in the closet.

As she was about to continue the folds on the other cloth, Dahlia came and sat down on her samling.

"Ina will come to Kota with Mbak Darsih. I've spoken to him."

Inayah turned her head to the side hearing Dahlia's words.

"When's Mak'?" tanyakanya.

"Say next week."

"It's gone by itself Mak', but not next week. Near the registration first," said Inayah as if reluctant to part with the mother, next Sunday too soon for him, at least a few weeks away.

Dahlia shook her head and said.

"It's better next week alone, this is Ina's first trip to the City. I wouldn't worry if Ina went with Darsih who was used to the City, Darsih could show Ina the way, which Ina didn't know," obviously at length so worried to hear the words of his daughter who wanted to go alone. It was nothing, this trip was the first experience Inayah left the village outside the District. Dahlia is very familiar with how the atmosphere of the City with various events and events.

"Alright Mak'," he said softly with a heartbeat that seemed to weaken.

"Dad! This ishah! Sister Inayah!"

A bald-headed boy galloped as he shouted Inayah's name. Market residents turned to the bald boy because of the loud voice when shouting.

"Thank you," said Inayah after dealing with one of the buyers, after the buyer left, the bald boy named Dedi approached Inayah with gasps.

"Huh. Heh. Ma'am Ina, Mak' .... Mak'. Hah," said the boy in a word.

"Mak'nya Mbak Ina, hah," he continued with still heard because his lungs tried to breathe and release oxygen quickly.

"Return your breath, Dedi. Here sit."

Inayah pulled Dedi to sit down and regulate his breathing, after feeling that Dedi had been breathing normally, Inayah began to ask questions.

"You from home up here keep running?" tanyakanya.

"Yes, Mother."

"What's wrong with Dedi, you can walk slowly without running."

Inayah once tried to run from the market to the house, and the result was .. not until half way, as if Inayah could no longer. Now he understood why Dedi was as stifled as before.

"Bi Darsih told him to call quickly to Mbak Inayah, so I ran up here."

"Mak'nya Inayah fell down the stairs," said Dedi.

"What!"

Inayah's heart went up and down quickly hearing Dedi's words.

'Mak'

"Deds. Ma'am asked for help, please keep the sale first. Mbak wants to see the condition of Mak'nya Mbak first," he said in a hurry and wear his sandals that he always escaped fearing stepping on merchandise.

"Yes Ma'am. How much is it!" dedi shouted at the end of the word because Inayah had gone running.

"Whatever, you set it up!" reply Inayah also with a shout, he ignored the view of other sellers and buyers who heard and saw him running blindly.

'Oh my God, what is this feeling?'

Inayah was already in front of the house with bad breath, after releasing her head Inayah immediately climbed the stairs in a hurry.

After arriving at the top, Inayah was silent at the door, her legs seemed heavy to continue her steps when many residents had filled the room of her house.

Inayah's heart was pounding and saw a pile covered by a sheath and surrounded by many people.

"Ina," called Darsih when he saw the arrival of his friend's daughter, he stood up and approached Inayah at the door to strengthen the girl who had been flooded with tears.

"Bi_aunt, i_ini?"

Inayah stuttered as she asked Darsih.

"llives. Your mother fell down the stairs, and the neighbors found her not breathing anymore."

Darsih was saddened to see Inayah's condition, he also felt very lost by the death of a friend he knew from 15 years ago.

"Mac'!"

Inayah fell down beside Dahlia's head.

His heartbreaking cries rang out in the ears of the mourners.

"Well leave Ina alone Mak'. Ina had no one but Mak' anymore," she asked as she shook the shoulder of the woman who had fallen silent lifelessly.

"Mak'."

"llives. Relieve your mother, let her go quietly with your willingness Ina," softly Darsih held down sobs, Inayah simply fell silent and kept looking at the woman who was lying down with her eyes closed tightly.

'Why Mak'? Ina only has Mak' in this world ....

Until the funeral was completed smoothly, Inayah continued to be silent without speaking with endless tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Ina, you eat first. You'll get sick if you don't eat and keep crying."

The other mourners came home, only Darsih who still stayed until the evening accompanied Inayah.

Seeing the food in the dish that Darsih brought, Inayah did not want to eat it. But, if he got sick could make Darsih hassles. Her mother's friend had been like a real Aunt to her all this time, Darsih was very considerate of her. Every Darsih left the City, never once did Darsih forget his gifts.

4 Days after Dahlia was buried, Inayah looked up at the door of her house she had locked with a bag in her hand.

'Today I'm going to the city. Mak' Ina misses you'

"llives. Come on, Mang Darto was about to leave," asked Darsih to force Inayah to turn her head to Darsih.

"Yes Bi."

Inayah looked at the house once more and then turned to follow Darsih's steps to go to the City. Inayah does not expect more for her education after arriving in Kota later, with her departure to Kota, Inayah hopes to start a new life without the Mother at her side as it has been so far.

"Is there nothing left?" darsih asked as they prepared to enter the car.

Inayah wanted to answer if Dahlia was left behind, saying that she wanted to go with Dahlia to the City, but that was something that would not have been possible.

"It's all Bi." he replied.

"All right, we're in now. Ina's bag is stored outside, so that Darto will put it in the trunk," said Darsih, Inayah complies and enters the Car leaving her belongings outside in addition to the tote bag she often uses to go to school.
