وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ

“And I did not create jinn and men except that they might worship Me.” (QS. Adz-Dzariyat: 56)

God did not make us vain, there must be a commandment and prohibition that we must carry out and we must stay away from.

Allah Ta’ala says,

أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ

“Then do you think that We created you playfully (only), and that you will not be returned to Us?” (QS. Your’minun: 115).

Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyah said, “Are you created without any intention and wisdom, not to worship Allah, and also without any recompense from Him?” (Madarij As-Salikin, 1:98)

So worship of Allah is the purpose for which the jinn, man and all creatures are created. Creatures cannot be created without being ruled and without being forbidden. Allah Ta’ala says,

أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنْسَانُ أَنْ يُتْرَكَ سُدًى

“Does man think, that he will be left for granted (without accountability)?” (QS. Al-Qiyama: 36).

Imam Asy Syafi’i said,

لاَ يُؤْمَرُ وَلاَ يُنْهَى

“(Are they created) without being ruled and banned?”.

Other scholars say,

لاَ يُثاَبُ وَلاَ يُعَاقَبُ

“(Are they created) without any reply and torment?” (Madarij As-Salikin, 1:98)"

"In conclusion, God created us for a purpose. God wants us to always remember him, obey him, and not abandon the commandments of God. Allah has prepared a proper reward for the negligent man. Like people who leave prayers, deliberately leave them because of work, people who do not want to fast in the month of Ramadan, people who do not want to pay zakat, people who do not want to love orphans. Dusk nodded, Dusk was already crying as it became. He hugged his brother's body, vanishing all guilt.
