There's Something in Your Eyes

Being in a car with his boss is what Ghina used to feel, but somehow today was different he felt awkward when last night they called until midnight. It could be said Ghina felt better after talking to Louis even though they talked about random things including work issues, but it managed to make her feel better and able to sleep well.

Now they have been on the way to Bandung probably already since thirty minutes ago they departed and there is absolutely no conversation between the two. Since Ghina looked out with her fingers she felt very nervous and hoped that their journey would end soon unfortunately their journey was still quite long.

Besides Louis only focused on the street in front of him even though sometimes he smiled because he saw Ghina, he remembered once last night when Ghina suddenly called.

Louis admits he's happy because Ghina called him.

'I. I'm sad for something'

That is what Ghina said and Louis decided not to ask much and accompanied the woman until she was really sleepy.

"Em Louis"

The first word Ghina let out and Louis turned his head for a while then muttered softly in response.

"We're going to stay at the hotel?" Ask Ghina

"I've booked two rooms next door." Louis said Ghina nodded in understanding

"Is this an important partnership for the company?" Ask Ghina again

"Yes quite important because the coverage is not only in Indonesia alone." Said Louis

"Hm so it has to run smoothly huh?" Ghina

"Well, why?" Ask Louis

"I'm afraid to make mistakes." Ghina

"Don't be too afraid just think of it as a regular meeting as we often do." Said Louis

"Hm I'm working as a secretary for the first time, so I'm afraid to make mistakes." Ghina

"You're pretty good at Ghina's work." Said Louis

"Is that just to cheer me up?" Ghina's question made Louis laugh at hearing her

"Of course I'm not telling you the truth." Said Louis

"Then thank you." Ghina

Louis just muttered softly and refocused on the streets before him.

"For last night also thank you and forgive me for interrupting your time." Ghina

"I'm not sleepy at all." Said Louis

"Fix thanks." Ghina

"Still feeling sad?" Ask Louis

"Hm little"

"Call me if you need a friend to tell you a story or accompany you." Said Louis

"You're too good Louis." Ghina's words made Louis smile at her

"There's a lot better than me." Said Louis

Ghina smiled and turned her gaze back out, she felt relieved despite still often thinking about Alden, but it was better.

"Louis, what do you think you should do in order to forget someone?" Ask Ghina

Hearing that Louis was silent for a moment then glanced at Ghina for a moment and gave an answer for her.

"What can be done to forget someone? The answer is no, you can't really forget someone Ghina especially if that person is a meaningful person in your life." Said Louis

"But, remembering it only makes it sick." Ghina said slowly

"Then forget about it, will it make you better?" Ask Louis

Ghina was silent to hear him turn her head and looked at Louis who was still focused forward.

"The only thing you have to do is make peace with the situation, not by forgetting but letting go." Said Louis

"Deliver?"

"Yes, the more you try to forget him the harder you are to do then don't forget to let go and live your life as it should." Said Louis

"Thank you Louis." Ghina said with a genuine smile

"It's nothing I'm just saying things I know." Said Louis

"You're so grown up Louis." Ghina

"Not even Ghina don't praise me." Said Louis

"Why?"

"I don't want to be flattered." Said Louis

"Will no more." Ghina

"After arriving and resting at the hotel I intend to take you out at night, do you mind?" Ask Louis

"Where are you going?" Ask Ghina

"Finding food alone, you prefer to eat in restaurants or..."

"Not at the restaurant." Ghina

"Well tonight we're going for a walk not to get in the car, but to walk." Said Louis

"That sounds fun." Ghina

"It's more fun being with me." Louis said Ghina looked at him and laughed

"It's more fun because it's you." Ghina

"You admit it?" Ask Louis

"Yes, I admit that being with you is fun." Ghina

Does that mean Ghina has accepted it?

At the hotel Ghina breathed a sigh of relief and immediately threw her body into the bed, tired of having to sit for hours in the car. His room was on the second floor of number 112 next to Louis's room because the man did book a room next to him he said to make it easy to meet him.

Their schedule for tomorrow's important meeting at one of the foreign companies was exactly eight which meant Ghina had to get ready from morning to not be late. Just this time Ghina was happy with her job after graduating from college she was not working and was busy having fun with her friends.

Smiling thinly Ghina pulled out her phone then looked for Natasya's number and called her.

'Hello Ghina?'

"Hello Sya lo how are you?" Ask Ghina

'Okay, how are you?'

"I'm working in Bandung now." Ghina

'Work? Ih pantes very difficult to connect with now it turns out to have been an office boy'

Ghina chuckles at hearing that, she misses her friends.

"So sometimes overtime so rarely open the phone." Ghina

'How's your new girlfriend Na? Right?'

"Hm good." Ghina

'Alden wasn't okay Na he sawing to the club and got drunk there many times Cassandra came sniffling him'

"Hm that is? I think it's Caca's business." Ghina called her name Cassandra

'He knows I just want to say, he's really sorry like he already left lo'

"Well, don't you feel like I am Shayudah, huh? I hung up the phone and just had to get out with Louis." Ghina

'Yes next time we meet up with Na'

"Yes sure"

After saying that Ghina turned off her phone call and stared at her phone screen with a faint smile. There was nothing to be sorry about - it was over Alden decided and Ghina simply obeyed his will by walking away.

Louis said he didn't have to forget Alden, but he just had to let go.

Along with Ghina who was busy with her mind her phone vibrated there was an incoming message from Louis that she immediately opened.

Do you feel comfortable?

With a smile Ghina instantly replied to him.

^^^Em yourself?^^^

I'm comfortable too, we're out at seven tonight, okay?

^^^ Yes I will prepare before seven ^^

Can't wait to see you Ghina

Reading the message, Ghina fell silent and without her asking for the corner of her lips to lift up, forming a wide smile.

The man was really unsettling.

"Are you ready?"

At exactly seven o'clock Louis stood at the door of Ghina's hotel room and greeted and asked if she was ready just a nod that Ghina gave. After locking the door Ghina felt her hands grabbed by Louis and their fingers intertwined making Ghina bow and look at him.

It felt so fitting and when he looked up Ghina smiled at Louis and they together walked out of the hotel. Not yet know what to eat Louis will only take Ghina for a walk to enjoy the beauty of the city at night.

Seeing a car motorbike passing by with a dark star-studded sky both go hand in hand without any talk. Not far from the hotel Ghina area see a place to eat located across the street, Lesehan.

"Louis let's eat there." Bring Ghina

Louis followed Ghina's gaze and smiled and nodded his head.

The two crossed the street and went to the place where Ghina meant it turned out that the woman wanted to eat ketoprak. After ordering them to sit next to each other, Ghina turned to look at Louis.

"You have no problem eating here?" Ask Ghina

"I? No of course not." Said Louis

"Hm all this out, how about we find martabak?" Ghina

"Sure we'll find." Said Louis

"What if you buy it too?" Canda Ghina

Unfortunately for Louis it was no joke.

"I'll pay for it." Said Louis

"I'm not just kidding." Ghina

"No papa I'll keep paying 'cause I took you out." Said Louis

Ghina could not resist and just nodded and the two fell silent for a long time until Ghina was startled when Louis brought her face closer. Ghina's reflexes retreated, but Louis instead surprised her even more when she picked up something near her eyes.

"There are eyelashes falling means someone misses you"

Ghina was silent as she looked at Louis with her heart pounding, but the man was busy with his own thoughts.

'Did Alden miss you Ghina? Do you miss him too?'
