Chapter 2: Increasing Strength (1)

In the Yongheng Continent, the strength of a martial warrior could be determined from the revival of Martial Soul. The higher the Martial Souls raised, then the more likely the achievements they would obtain.

Martial Soul is the designation of Soul power that helps cultivators to communicate with heaven and earth, helps absorb aura and helps practice abilities.

As for the Martial Soul level itself is divided into four parts, namely; (Yellow, Earth, Heaven and Heaven.) Each level has 10 levels.

For example; the Martial Soul White Tiger level 4th Yellow.

While the realm/cultivator level in this world was divided into; (Body Tempering, Xiantian, Martial King, Martial Ancestor, Martial Dominator, Martial Highness, Martial Saint, Martial Progenitor, Martial Monarch, Martial God.)

In the middle of the dragon mountain forest, Qin Chen was suddenly confronted by the Black Fire Wolf monster with strength in the Body Tempering realm (7). The power is quite high for a forest like this, plus it amounts to 3.

Black Fire Wolf's thundering commemorated Qin Chen, his warning was like destroying the silence of the forest. He who faced directly with the monster, now pulled his Iron Sword.

From within his mouth came a ball-shaped flame, as fast as lightning moved towards his place as the wolf attacked him.

Again he jumped to the side and followed by the steps of the cloud to outwit the sight of the wolf. While being close to him, he swung his sword as fast as lightning.

"Not bad, even though my movements slowed down a bit, but in the end this wolf was defeated with a single attack. To break through the Xiantian realm, I need 1,000 Exp, at least it should defeat monsters in the Body Tempering realm (10) around 10 monsters."

He thought of something a little, a moment later he resumed his journey of increasing strength. Because he had his initial goal, of wanting to become the strongest before reaching the age of 18 while awakening Martial Soul.

Next to the high cliff, he found a huge monster there. Upon taking a closer look, the monster was an Earth Giant Ape resting.

"Earth Giant Ape, a power in the realm of Body Tempering (10), is on par with me and maybe this fight will become even more difficult because it is my first time fighting an equivalent power. Even so, my full strength can compete with the Xiantian realm (5)."

After observing a few minutes, he had gotten the worst-case scenario of his life. If he failed, then he would directly fight blatantly against the Earth Giant Ape.

With the Iron Sword, he stepped out of hiding. Earth Giant Ape turned his head sideways and felt hostility between the two of them, as Qin Chen's killing intent could be sensed by the Earth Giant Ape.

Raising his sword, he pointed the tip of the sword towards the Earth Giant Ape and stared at each other. The moment the sound of the leaves touched the ground, Qin Chen and the Earth Giant Ape dashed across each other.

The punch of the Earth Giant Ape pointed right at his head, along with the swing of Qin Chen's sword resisting the attack until it created a huge bang.

The other hand moved from the side attacking Qin Chen.

Thrown sideways into the trees behind him, Qin Chen spat out a hint of blood in his mouth. "A commensurate enemy, not bad for training, but my body can't possibly hold it back anymore because it's too early to receive a fatal wound."

He again rose to draw his sword back, darting back against the Earth Giant Ape with his sword. The monster hit his chest back, it dominated the heaven and earth.

Suddenly his sword was enveloped by lightning striking the ground, another strike from the Earth Giant Ape managed Qin Chen to spare while swinging his sword from below splitting his chest.

"The Sky Thunder Sword!"

A crescent moon silhouette as fast as lightning split the body of the Earth Giant Ape with raging lightning burning away the monster. Qin Chen's means were so fatal that it could not be dodged by the Earth Giant Ape.

Qin Chen sat down to take a breath, he was not strong to move anymore and lay looking at the sky. "Huh! I couldn't move freely like this, more efficiently learning mass-attacking abilities so that it could be used to increase strength."

After a few minutes, he stood up and saw the cliffs a little strange. With the divine eyes he had obtained from the enhancement of Martial Soul, Qin Chen could identify anything.

"The walls of this cliff are so thin, inside there is a secret room. I'd better check, plus it's still noon so no one's gonna suspect you when you get back in the afternoon."

He took a step back, gathering the Qi in his fist. Directing Moon Jade First smashed the cliff wall.

As the wall exploded, thick dust covered his sight. After the dust disappeared, he found the secret room inside, stepped in vigilantly around it, Qin Chen traversed the room.

Inside the room, he felt an enormous energy wave in front. "A very powerful energy, is it possible that in front of there are treasures of heaven and earth or other unknown things?!"

He accelerated his footsteps deeper, while being close to the energy, Qin Chen opened his eyes to see the heavenly energy pond that had been condensed by heaven and earth for thousands of years.

However, he slightly increased his vigilance because beside the pool there was an ancient scroll lying on top of a large rock.

"Is it possible that this place is an Immortal hideout? Putting that aside, first save the scroll and then cultivate on top of the heavenly energy pool increased the power."

He took the scroll and put it in his inventory. Then most importantly, he sat on top of the heavenly energy pool to cultivate increasing strength.

The energy contained within the heavenly energy pool entered into his dantian. The sound of a breakthrough strengthened his foundation to such an extreme that it was impossible for him to be destroyed.

The increase in Qin Chen's strength fostered great life energy so that he obtained an enormous life energy within him. Energy management expanded his sea of souls so that it could accommodate one large continent.

The process of increasing Qin Chen's strength lasted a long time, this took nearly 6 hours or so. Inside the room, Qin Chen was still cultivating to balance the new energy and its rise so as not to experience chaos within and result in losses.
