Chapter 12 The Hypocrite

Joe never left beside Nisa, continued to be beside her to accompany her and take care of her.

"It doesn't matter that you stay here?" ask Nisa.

"No, why?" reply Joe.

"What about your job, don't you abandon it out of guilt. I can already eat by myself so you don't have to keep me company" he said.

The combination of the look on Nisa's innocent face and insensitive words like a hammer that hit her heart, even though she had tried hard. Though he has given a lot of code but Nisa still does not realize the reason for his presence there.

"You take it easy, there are my men who take care of everything" he replied slowly.

Nisa can not force anymore, she was silent as well as Joe. Until a few minutes later Joe was allowed to go first to buy snacks.

After a few minutes of Joe's departure the open door was knocked, Nisa turned her head and her face immediately coldly looked at Akim who was standing there.

"Can I come in?" ask Akim.

"You've come in" said Nisa.

He threw away his face as Akim walked over and sat down on the chair right beside Nisa.

"How are you doing?" tanyakanya.

"It's better" he replied slowly.

"Show look at me!" akim's orders that can't stand Nisa's treatment.

Nisa turned her head, now she looked at Akim but with a sharp look.

"Did I make a mistake?" ask her now in a lower voice.

"No," said Nisa slowly.

"Lying, then why do you keep avoiding me? please tell me what's wrong" she asked.

"You're not doing anything" Nisa replied adamantly.

"I'm not stupid! if I don't make a mistake why do you even seem disgusted to see me?" insist Akim.

Nisa wants to silence her mouth tightly but Akim continues to urge until finally what is buried overflows out.

"I hate your hypocrisy! you satisfied?" nisa finally.

"What do you mean?" akim asked increasingly clueless.

"You always say you don't like Sany but the proof is that you love her so much, why don't you just make peace with your heart?" inexplicably.

"Nisa... Why do you think that? I do not have such feelings for Sany," asked Akim puzzled.

"really? then look me in the eye and tell me you're not afraid of him getting into an accident when we're about to cross the street, tell me firmly that you didn't feel anything while laughing with Sany. Tell me if you don't want to see it continue" asked Nisa in a deep voice to hold back her tears that were ready to fall.

While Akim was speechless, it was an easy request and he could answer it. But somehow it feels like his mouth is locked tightly because his mind and his deepest heart is in a cold war.

"Say Akim," Nisa commands once again.

"No! I don't feel anything, it's just your feeling!" yelling Akim with an irregular breath.

"You didn't look me in the right eye" Nisa said softly with a bitter smile.

Akim was about to give an excuse but Nisa who exhaled a long breath made her lips clench.

He lay on his back to Akim, silently letting the tears that had been so welling up just fall. While Akim who was confused himself finally complied, he left Nisa just like that.

Whether Nisa likes what Joe does not know, he finally bought various types of snacks. Ranging from chips to cakes, from sweet to salty. He also bought a drink to complete the meal.

Returning to the hospital as he walked closer to Nisa's room he heard someone shouting, quietly peeking he was astonished to see Nisa and Akim talking seriously.

Deciding to eavesdrop on their conversation he remained silent beside the door, listening to all the debates that were somehow confusing at first.

Until he finally hears all Nisa's words one thing he understands, Nisa knows Akim still likes Sany but she does not want to admit it.

Which made him wonder why Nisa was so insistent, even from her voice that shook as if there was a disappointment in her knowing this.

When Akim finally leaves the room Joe quickly goes into hiding, after Akim has gone far there is suspicion for him about Nisa and Akim's relationship.

Worried about Nisa's condition, Sany and Nilam come to visit when they have free time. Seeing Nisa's improving state made them breathe a sigh of relief.

"I've fed Mily, she's been bathing. But it looks like he misses you," Sany reported.

Because it must be treated in the hospital forced Nisa to ask for help Sany to take care of Mily, her job is quite easy. Just give it a meal and bathe it, but still it takes up free time.

"Thank you, sorry for the trouble" said Nisa.

"No problem, I'm also happy to be able to take care of Mily."

"The doctor said tomorrow I can go home" said Nisa.

"Ah thank goodness." welcome Nilam happy.

Apparently Nisa's recovery was faster than predicted, she was able to go home with just five days of treatment. Everyone was happy to hear this news but not with Joe.

Not because he wanted Nisa to continue to be sick, but he felt the time to be alone with Nisa was finally over.

As a last resort in Joe's approach help Nisa get out of the hospital and drive her home.

"Thank you for taking me, even though I can take my own taxi" Nisa said after they arrived.

"It's just a small thing, you don't have to be shy."

"All right, see you later!" pampered.

"Eh Nisa!" call Joe suddenly.

Nisa stopped her steps and looked over.

"Will you still come to my place? I know the doctor forbade you to rock climb again, but at least you can come for a look" he asked hesitantly.

"Of course" Nisa said with a smile.

"I'll play to your place if there's time" he continued.

Joe smiled with relief, the opportunity was not really lost. He still had hope despite not knowing if it would work.

"That's when I go first, until later."

"Be careful on the road!" reply Nisa while waving her hand.
