CHAPTER 55. RICHARD STARTED TO GET COLD

Richard, Dora, and Mauren stepped towards the children's clothing store. They walked while holding Mauren's hand.

"Dora!!"Call Cornelius not too far from Dora.

Dora looked towards the person who called out to her. "Cornelius!"

Cornelius walked closer to Dora."Mr Richard, how come you're the same as Dora?"

The man stared at Mauren, seeing that both of the little boy's hands were held by Richard and Dora. "This little boy who is Dora?"cornelius asked curiously.

Dora fell silent, confused as to what to answer to Cornelius.

"This is our son." - Richard.

Cornelius was both surprised and disappointed. "So you went abroad in addition to college and married Dora?"

"Yes, we got married in California five years ago" said Richard, not Dora. Richard is forced to lie, because he wants to cover up his disgrace and Dora and wants to cover up the status of Mauren who is an out-of-wedlock child.

"Kok Amor and Moresette never told me?"muttered.

"We go first."pamit Richard.

"Why did you say that to Cornelius?"dora asked after their position was already far away from Cornelius.

"So I have to say what Dora is? You want me to talk about Mauren's our niece?"suhut Richard slightly raised his tone.

"I mean, why are you saying we're married?

"Why? are you ashamed to marry me? you want our disgrace to be known to Cornelius, Dora? this is one of the reasons I asked you to get married. Don't you pity Mauren's status so the question by the people??!! Richard was angry.

Dora instantly fell silent, she could not answer Richard's question. What Richard said is true.

Richard then took Mauren to the children's clothing store, leaving Dora outside the store for granted. At the moment Richard is really angry at Dora. he thinks Dora is too selfish not to think about the future of his daughter.

Dora always follows Richard into the children's clothing store. There was a sense of regret in his heart as he said that to Richard.

Dora sees Richard picking a dress for Mauren. Dora then approached him. "This one is good for Mauren" Dora said, showing Richard a single shirt stel

Richard took a quick glance. He didn't say. The man was still upset with Dora with his selfishness. The woman then took some more clothes for Mauren which she thought fit her daughter and her daughter's size.

"This sir."Dora handed Richard some clothes. The man simply accepted it, then walked towards the cashier to pay for it, without even turning his head towards Dora.

Out of the children's clothing store, Richard decided to go straight home. In his hands was full of Mauren's groceries. Mauren held his hand by Dora.

"Let's go home" she said coldly to Dora.

On the way home, there was no conversation between Richard and Dora. There was only the sound of Mauren chattering. Which is occasionally overwritten by Papa and Mama.

Richard's car has entered the residential gate. The main house of the Bernando family. About five years ago he set foot in this place, when he wanted to propose to Dora. Moments later Richard's car had entered Mr. Bernando's yard.

"Mauren, stay at Mama's house, yuk." take Dora to her daughter, when Richard's car has stopped."

"No way, Mauren wants to sleep with papa" Mauren refused while shaking her head.

"But, Mama also wants to sleep with Mauren." said Dora with a sad tone.

"Mama sleeps at Papa's house, yeah."

"Richard looked back."Mauren here moved to the front sitting next to Papa."Richard extended his hand to Mauren. He didn't care about Dora wanting to get out of the car.

"Same father Mauren didn't stop by first?" ask Dora

"I want to go straight home, take a break" she replied coldly without looking at Dora.

Dora then got out of the car bound. He knew the man was still angry with him.

I don't think time has passed quickly. At night, in the room, Dora was agitated. Dora changed her sleeping position to the left and right. But his eyes were not closed.

The time is now 11:00 p.m. However, he tried to close his eyes, but never closed too. Because until tonight he is still haunted by feelings of guilt.

Dora then lay down in a supine position. His left and right index fingers are one right while being tapped between the two. His eyes were staring at the ceiling of the room as if he was thinking and weighing something.

Five minutes later in that position, Dora picked up her phone on the nightstand. He's decided to call Richard tonight. He's looking for a contact named Mr. Richard.

While elsewhere, precisely in Richard's private house, not much different from Dora. At this moment the man was also unable to close his eyes.

So much he thinks. Thinking of Mauren and her Mama Mauren. The silence of the night, broken by the sound of Richard's cell phone ringing. Richard grabs his phone, which turns out to be Mauren's contact name on his phone screen.

Not yet had Richard received the call, Dora had stopped the call.he did not contact Richard. The woman decided to send a message. Not long after a message came in from Mama Mauren

"Sorry." That Whatsapp message was sent by Dora to Richard

"For? reply Richard brief.

Dora did not immediately reply, the woman thought of finding the right answer so that her Papa Mauren would not be angry with her anymore.

"Sir, I'm sorry for what I said this afternoon, when I met Cornelius."dora returned to reply to Whatsapp's message.

"It's Dora, don't need to be discussed anymore.it's useless because here I'm the only one who fights for the status of Mauren."reply Richard.

Dora did not reply anymore, at this time she was confused about what to behave with Richard.

After placing his phone on the nightstand, Richard tilted his sleeping position to face Mauren. He saw the innocent face of his sleeping daughter.

"Sorry Papa, son. Papa can't bring your mother into this house."Richard monologued himself and the man tried to close his eyes again

At the residence of Mr. Bernando, Dora who was currently in the room, after putting her phone on Dora's breath was getting agitated. "Gerrily, too, Mr. Richard, if you get angry." murmured Dora.

The days passed, and Richard did not care about Dora much anymore. Because he thinks Dora is too selfish. He never thought about Mauren's status.

In contrast to Richard, now Dora's attitude has changed for the good of the man. Even so, until now Dora's heart is still closed to build a household with Richard.
