A Surprise
The sun is getting higher making the light feel hot burning the skin. On the street a black lamborgini drove in the middle of the crowded vehicle a young man was busy calling some people. The young man wanted to make a small surprise for the girl who had always haunted him.
"Ah hopefully the results are in accordance with what I hope" he said after finishing calling. Yes, that young man is Darren.
After school the young man was busy going there and here to give instructions to his men. Darren wants to make sweet memories with Ayesha because all this time he has not had a good chance to express his feelings.
Arrived at the promised time Ayesha was at a cafe where the driver of the invitation took her.
This cafe is located in one of the cities in Jakarta precisely in the number of South Jakarta. This cafe has a design with a tropical theme with many trees, outdoor and almost all ornaments are white so that it makes visitors feel sitting in a cafe in Bali. This outdoor dining concept surrounded by plants and trees gives a fresh atmosphere. There is also a stage for live music.
Ayesha was stunned by the atmosphere inside until a servant's voice resuscitated her. The waiter showed me the seat that Darren had ordered. A few moments later the one waiting came.
"Have you waited a long time, Ay?" Ask Darren base.
"Just been ko"
"Lo likes the place?"
"Like, it's beautiful and comfortable." Ayesha said honestly.
Darren breathed a sigh of relief. Then he got up and told Ayesha to give him a small gift.
Darren then walked up and took the mini stage after getting a nod of his head from Ayesha and sat on the chair where he was seated by the young man who sang melodiously. Guitar passages began to sound beautiful making Ayesha fixated. He did not expect a Darren turned out to be able to play guitar. More unexpected it turns out this is a surprise in the meaning.
The beautiful music from the sound of the guitar picked and also the melodious sound of Darren when singing bewitched all the visitors in the cafe. The "happy Birthday" song of Jamrud's first band he sang. The sound of applause signifies the end of the song. The melodious voice and handsome face make Darren the center of attention in the cafe especially for the women. Along with that the food that had also been ordered arrived at their table.
It turns out that not only did Darren still want to present a song that specifically represents his feelings.
"Okay, my friends all want to say a happy birthday to my special friend who is sitting sweetly at the corner table there, may you always be healthy and happy. One last song I dedicated specifically to him hopefully what I want to say he can feel". The sound of applause again rang out rowdy when Darren had finished with his speech. All was silent waiting for what Darren would show again. So is Ayesha whose face has been reddened by shame at once haru. This was the first time he had been given such a surprise.
The guitar lines again sounded beautiful and Darren began to play melodious...

Ayesha gaping did not really think that was the song she wanted to sing? Why was it that Darren was expressing his feelings? Is he not wrong? Questions popped into his mind. He really did not expect to get a surprise this sweet. Even though Ayesha is the type of girl who is indifferent to her own special day but that does not mean she does not like to be given a surprise like this. As a normal woman of course she would also melt in her making.
Darren walked confidently towards Ayesha who was still stunned in place. His smile never came out. Today as planned Darren will express everything in his heart to the first girl who managed to steal his attention.
Darren looked at the bead shade of Ayesha's eyes and grabbed the girl's hand grasping it gently. The touch of Darren's hand somehow felt so warm that it made the corner of his heart shake.
"Ayesha" said Darren, but the one who was greeted was silent and unmoved.
"I don't know when this all happened. But when I am with you I am so happy and comfortable. I'm happy with you, I'm sad to see you hurt then, I'm angry when you always reject me. I thought it was my sympathy for you but, when you were not beside me, I realized I had lost you. The more days I realized something was missing... I realize your name has been etched beautifully in my heart for some time" Darren said at length. Ayesha doesn't understand what's going on. Suddenly his tongue could not answer or interrupt Darren's words.
"I'm.."
"Sttts.. I wish I could make you so happy like you make me happy always. I can only say that I never wanted to lose someone like you I wouldn't ask much for I just wanted to be present enough you were always by my side, because it is in you that my happiness is".
"I don't expect you to return my love, just feel the magnitude of my love for you you don't need" Darren said.
Ayesha is expressionless because she doesn't feel what's wrong with Darren or maybe she hasn't noticed? I don't know.
Darren then grabbed Ayesha's right hand and she put on a beautiful bracelet.
"I wish you never took it off. Think of this as a sign of our friendship"
"Darren, I'm very grateful for today but as you know I don't want to be tied to anything and to anyone. One day I hope you will change your mind because I can't be with you" Ayesha finally ventured to convey what was in her heart.
"I don't know, and I didn't ask for that either. I just want you to know what's in my heart. That's all" Darren smiled. Actually his heart wants more but he does not want to force his desire let all slowly and flow following the destiny that has been written in their lives.
After expressing his feelings Darren felt more relieved, in contrast to Ayesha the girl felt quite awkward. Until their dinner was only mostly Darren who told the story like never before.
