Adam kept his promise early in the morning he had woken up the man rushed to the dining room because Adam had memorized the habits of Laura, the girl since the incident until the police came to the house. Since then Laura always woke up early for breakfast because she did not want to meet Adam.

"Dear to love." said Adam. He stood behind Laura's chair. The eighteen-year-old girl was enjoying her morning breakfast the jam-filled bread she had just fed into her mouth yet Adam appeared to make Laura's appetite disappear instantly. He looked at Adam without any reaction.

"Well, can you sit in your side chair, baby?" adam asked as he pulled up a chair to sit down.

Laura did not answer that she put the rest of the bread she had eaten on the plate and grabbed the cup of milk she quickly drank without answering Adam's question. After taking a sip of warm milk in the cup he then put the cup on the table and Laura shifted the chair she wanted to leave from the presence of Adam but quickly Adam held Laura's hand.

"Why are you in such a hurry? Papa wants to talk to you alone if you're not comfortable at this dinner table at least let papa take you to your college we can talk in the car." Adam bargained.

Laura glanced at her wrist that Adam was holding, "Take off my hand you've hurt me haven't you hurt my mommy enough and now you want to hurt me too?" Laura looked at Adam's hate.

Adam's message. Maria had not woken up because Diamond had not slept last night the baby was so fussy that it made Mary have to stay up until morning.

"Good, Sir." The waiter bowed.

Adam rushed forward and grabbed the keys to the car on the table. Laura was tidying her hair in the mirror reflection of the car rearview mirror.

"Let's open the door he said it's too late still glazed." Adam opened the car door and he got in and sat at the wheel. After making sure her hair was tidy Laura opened the car door she entered sitting on the seat beside the steering wheel.

"You're so pretty, baby, why are you still glazed over?" Adam started the engine and then stepped on the gas pedal, Adam drove the car at a moderate speed because he wanted to talk to Laura longer.

"Ehem..." Adam cleared his throat. Because, since getting into the car Laura just silence her eyes continue to look out the window. Laura was still not comfortable anymore sitting on the chair beside Adam.

"Darling.." call Adam.

"Yes, my hearing is still good." Laura said but her eyes were comfortable looking out the window.

"Papa apologized.Honestly papa really can not control Papa's emotions at that time. You know when Dad came into the room, you found your mom calling Daddy Jackson. Papa was jealous when he saw her laughing through a phone call. Papa's fear of losing you is so great that you can't control your emotions to beat your mommy. It's papa's biggest mistake of a lifetime." Adam said he breathed occasionally. Adam regretted why he could not hold back his emotions to make the girl now start to keep a distance with him. Adam couldn't have if Laura had quieted herself down like she had lately.

Adam glanced at Laura his hand was about to touch Laura's arm but quickly Laura brushed Adam's hand away, "Speaking doesn't need to touch Laura's hand." Laura said without looking at Adam.

"Yes.yes, Papa is wrong again." Adam chuckles.

Laura raised the corner of her upper lip.

"So how has Papa gotten sorry from Laura hasn't he?" adam asked as he stopped the car in front of Laura's campus.

Laura sighed she looked at Adam, "Well Laura has forgiven papa.But, the condition is not to repeat the deed again. "All right." Laura opened the car door she got out of the car and walked into the campus.

Adam returned home on the way he was very happy finally Laura had forgiven him.She promised not to make mistakes again because she did not want to be hated Laura again.

Days change, every time Laura and James go off campus or are not at Adam's house always hit Maria.
