Verdict, But Not Finish

"So this is what made you resign to be my son's attorney? Are they willing to pay higher than us? Or do you get paid for something else?" Mr. Bayu raised the question in a loud voice until it was heard by everyone in the courtroom.

Not only Pras, Rafka immediately turned to look at Pak Bayu with a very sharp gaze and both hands clenched and jaws hardened! The two men stepped towards Mr. Bayu. Pras stopped right in front of Pak Bayu.

"Jaga talk you. We are not sycophants like you, who justify every means to get what you want," Pras said sharply with his jaw still hardened.

"You realize who you're talking to? I'll get your word out to the green table if you forget." Rafka added.

Who is not familiar with Rafka Wijaya, a young lawyer who is successful and has never lost a case that he handled. He also often goes to various cities around the country to fulfill his client's call. Rafka is a very busy person and does not carelessly accept work. He's a very thorough and perfectionist person.

Mr. Bayu was daunted by Rafka's words. He didn't want to end up in jail like his son. Meanwhile, Bu Widia was trembling and felt lost hope. He had occasionally sobbed at the thought of the very proud child he would be staying at a prodeo hotel.

Pras and Rafka were already sitting in their respective places. Pras, who was sitting behind Ana, hugged the woman from behind and kissed her cheek. He tried to strengthen his wife.

"You don't be afraid, you're innocent, honey. They are guilty, so they must accept the punishment" Pras whispered.

Ana tightened her grip on Pras' hand. He was nervous and trembling. He never imagined he would be sitting in a chair that was right in front of a green table. It was like a dream for him, to be a victim of evil.

The trial is quite tense. The defendant's legal authority, which in this case Niko and Una, has several times raised an interruption of objections to the allegations made against his client. But Rafka is not out of her mind, she continues to corner Niko and Una with entrapping questions.

The trial was completed after the judge knocked the hammer three times. The trial will continue two weeks in advance to hear the defendant's defense. The police immediately took Niko and Una out of the room.

Ana, Pras and the others exit the courtroom. They stopped at the door of the room because Niko and Una were blocking them. The two defendants stared dislikefully at Ana and Pras.

"Don't feel like winning, Ana. I won't stay silent. If I go to jail, I'll avenge my heartache after I get out later. So be prepared," said Una full of threats.

"I won't let you bother my wife" Pras growled with a fierce look.

"You also don't have to be arrogant just because you're a famous young lawyer" Niko told Rafka.

Rafka grinning. "I really like a challenging opponent like you."

"Let's walk!" the police order and escort Niko and Una to the prisoner's car that is waiting in the parking lot.

"What if we have dinner first," Rifky asked after seeing his watch.

Ana, Pras and Deby agree to dinner together. They headed for a restaurant not far from the court office. They were sitting in the VIP room of the restaurant.

Rafka and Rifky take turns asking Ana questions about the chronology of her abduction. Rifky's a reliable detective. Rafka always cooperates with his twin in every case he handles.

"I've got the cctv footage that's on the supermarket page. We can get him out at the next trial" Rifky said.

"That means we can prove that Niko was really guilty and put her in jail" Deby said.

"The one who smothered Ana used the face cover. But we can track it through the car used. My men have investigated it." Rifky said confidently.

"Have you got the full proof?" rafka asked her twin, Rifky.

"Tomorrow or the day after all the investigation reports I'll make sure are on your desk" replied Rifky.

"Good." Rafka smiled broadly.

Rafka several times contacted Pras asking for a schedule to meet with Ana. He wanted to know more about the case. He also asks things that may be considered trivial by others, but can help in cases that befall his client.

Rifky also helped investigate this case selflessly. The two twin brothers never talked about how much Pras and Ana had to spend. They didn't expect anything in return, they really just wanted to help.

Until the day of the trial, Rafka entered the room with confidence as usual. Ana and Pras walk side by side behind the young lawyer followed by Deby. Both Pras and Ana's parents were also present.

Not long after, the Chief Justice and his staff entered the courtroom. Pras was always beside Ana who was feeling tense and nervous about facing trial. This time Alan was absent due to other matters. Alan Sudsh gave his testimony at the previous trial.

Pras immediately hugged his wife who was trembling either out of fear or holding back anger. He wanted to tell his wife, if she would always be with him. They all ended up having lunch in the cafeteria at the court office.

After lunch, the trial resumed with the reading of the judge's decision. "Based on the evidence and testimony of the witnesses, the court hereby ruled that, brothers Niko Siswanto and Una Aprilia were found guilty. For brother Niko Siswanto sentenced to four years and five months in prison," the Chief Justice ruled.

"And for Una's sister Aprilia, sentenced to four years and two months in prison." The Chief Judge continued.

The presiding judge closed the hearing by knocking the hammer three times. Ana and Pras were relieved, they hugged each other. They did not forget to shake hands Rafka and Rifky and say thank you. Smiles spread on all their lips.

In gratitude and thanks, Pras invited Rafka, Rifky and Deby to have dinner together at his home. They agreed to meet again tonight at Pras' house.

Ana, Miss Maya, Miss Lili is putting food on the table. Bi Siti looks very busy going back and forth from the kitchen to the dining room. While Pras was playing with both of his children. Deby who deliberately came early to help also looks busy as well.

They breathed a sigh of relief looking at the dining table which was filled with various side dishes and fruits. Pras and Ana do not want to disappoint the person who helped them at the green table. Pras rushed to open the door when he heard the sound of the doorbell.

"Good night, please come in" Pras said with a smile.

"Good night. Thank you," replied the guest, Rafka and Rifky.

They came in and sat on the sofa. Pras invited his two guests to talk for a moment first. Ana joins them in carrying Arzetta.

"Thank you for helping me" Ana said with a sincere smile.

"Together, An," replied Rafka. "Hi, Beautiful.You're coming with Om?" Rafka stretched out her hand to bang on Arzetta. "Can I just hold your son for a minute?"

"Can."

"Evening is ready" Deby said.

"We'll talk to you for a second, Deb. Don't you miss us?" pinta Rifky is owned by Deby.

Rafka seems to like children. He kissed Arzetta repeatedly. Rifky looked at his twin with a hard-to-understand look.

"So it's true that you're approaching your ex?"

A voice that sounded full of emotion echoed in the doorway.
