Visiting the In-Law

"When did you guys get back from Bali?" ask Dad, when Jova and Alex have arrived at Dad's house by Sunday afternoon.

"Evening, Dad!" answer Alexander.

"How, Jova? do you have any signs of pregnancy?" ask the mother who sat next to Jova.

"Mother.I know, it's been a week!" replied the embarrassed Jova - embarrassed to answer Mom's question.

Mom smiled cutely looking at her misbehaved daughter, as did Alexander who scratched his back head that was not itchy.

"Why are you ashamed, it is indeed been waited by most newlyweds," said Mother.

"Yes, my dear mother, Jova knows! but don't ask questions" replied Jova who was still shy about discussing such things with her mother.

"Why?" ask Mom, "remember! don't be delayed!"

"We are not delaying, ma'am," replied Jova, "but Jova is still preparing to do the thesis too, ma'am!"

"Hemm..'s reason, I can't wait to hold my grandchild!" say Mother.

"Yes.yeah! we will try" replied Jova resignedly.

"That's dong!" say Mother.

"Oh yes! this by - by for Dad, Mom, Tristan and Mbak Nur!" said Jova handed over 4 paper bags to Mother who already had their names - each. "And this, a typical Balinese snack," Jova handed me one more paper bag.

"Wow! by - by the newlyweds!" sahut Tristan who walked down the stairs.

"This is for you!" mom handed a paper bag with the words Tristan, to Tristan who was sitting between Mom and Jova.

"Thank you, my dear brother!" said Tristan peeked briefly at Jova's cheek. "Thank you Brother-in-law too!" tristan smiled at Alexander, who was taken by Alex.

"Student study!" jova.

"Ready, Commander!" sahut Tristan opened his paper bag.

"Nur!" call Mom on her ART.

"Yes, Madam?" replied Nur who was already standing next to the sofa.

"It's by - by Jova for you!"

"Well, thank you, miss. Remember as I turned out," Nur said with a genuine smile.

"Yes, same - same!" answer Jova.

"Mrs, lunch is ready!" nur.

"All right, let's have lunch!" say Mother.

"Come, Son! don't hesitate - nod. This is your home too!" said Dad patted Alex's shoulder gently.

"Yes, Father." replied Alexander.

Everyone stood up and moved to the dining room. Everyone sits in their own chairs.

"What do you want to eat, honey?" jova asked Alex who was sitting next to her.

"Just like you eat" Alex replied briefly.

"Wedding is like that, right?" asked Tristan who heard Jova and Alex talk, "should the food be the same?" continued.

"Not even times!" replied Jova, "under the age just shut up! don't ask weird!"

"Haha!" tristan's laughter, "the fiercer you're Mrs Alexander!" ledek Tristan made Alexander smile a little.

"Hurry, eat!" say Mother.

After finishing her lunch, Jova invited Alexander to sleep in her room. This is the first time Alex has been in Jova's room. Alex walked up to the wall with some photos of Jova.

"Cantica?" alex pointed to one photo during Jova's seventh birthday.

"Haha!" Jova chuckled, "your memory is so amazing Honey!" jova hugged Alexander's body.

"Of course!" alex answered wrapping his hands around Jova's slender waist.

"Now let's go to bed first, later in the afternoon to Papa's house," said Jova.

"Are we sure we'll just go to sleep?" alex asked with a mysterious smile.

"meaning?" ask Jova back.

"I want to try your bed!" alex lifts Jova's body and takes her to Jova's bed.

"Hemm! you perverted lecturer!" Jova slapped Alex's shoulder gently with a shy smile - embarrassed, making Alex chuckle.

"Darling, would you like to eat out or have dinner at Papa's?" alexander asked as he drove his car away from the house of the in-laws.

"At Papa's house," replied Jova.

"OK!"

Moments later, Alexander parked his car in the ranks of street vendors.

"Honey, you wait here" said Alex opening his seat belt.

"I'm coming!" said Jova to open her seat belt.

"Yes, Come on!"

Alexander opens the door for Jova, Jova gets out of her car. A few people around looked towards them. People around felt familiar with the faces of Jova and Alex, but no one dared to come closer or ask questions.

Jova walks by holding Alex's left arm, following Alex wherever he steps. After feeling enough, by buying some kind of snack from some PKL there, Alex brought Jova back to his car.

When he reached the red light where there were so many buskers and beggars, Alex took out everything he bought and handed it to the approaching buskers.

"For all your friends!" alex said to the buskers who can be said to look young, just his clothes look shabby.

"Thank you, Sir! Thank you!" said the busker happily, carrying a few bags of snack crackles to where they rested. Jova observed the buskers who immediately crowded, and scrambled and looked very happy to get the food that was not much.

Why did I never think of doing such a thing in the past! if it wasn't for my handsome Lecturer, maybe I would never have known about the importance of sharing such a simple thing. Jova said in her heart.

"What's wrong with you, honey?" asked Alex glanced at Jova who had been silently looking at the sidewalk behind the car window.

"Oh yeah?" Alex tilted his face at Jova.

"Yes, Honey!"

"Hemm" Alex refocuses on the street in front of him.

Until the car is in front of the gate of a luxury house. Security who recognized Alexander's car immediately opened the 3-meter-high turnstile.

A gardener who saw the arrival of Alex and Jova, immediately opened the main door of Papa's house.

"Samely, Miss" replied the gardener, bowing politely.

"Waaahh! mom's house has a special guest!" said Mama girang who just came out of the main room on the lower floor.

Jova immediately spread her smile welcoming the embrace of her mother-in-law. Papa who heard Mama's words immediately came out of his room.

"Papa's son and daughter-in-law apparently!" papa grabbed Alex and Jova's shoulders.

"Let's sit there!" Mom pointed at the middle room sofa.

"This is by - by for Mama and Papa," said Jova handed over two paper bags.

"Well, thank you, baby!" say Mama.

"And this is a typical Balinese snack for Mama, Papa and the workers here" said Jova handed Paper bag with a large size. Because Jova guessed the workers at Alexander's house must be a lot.

"You're still on your honeymoon - you bought this!" say Mama.

"This is mandatory Ma" said Jova published her smile.

"How was your honeymoon?" ask Papa, "Current right?"

"Of course!" answer Alex origin.

Papa and Mama chuckled with Alex's expression.

"No incident arrived - arrived the moon?" ask Mama who made Jova ashamed.

"Nothing!" answer Alex.

"Lucky enough you!" said Papa.

"Why indeed?" alex asked who made Mama smile funny.

"Papa used to be hot - the heat is because for the first time, uh fitting down turns out your Mama came moon!" papa's story is without shame, "do you know what it's like? Hmmmh!" Papa shook his head in annoyance given the time.

"Haha!" Alexander laughed heartily - bahak.

Mama and Jova laughed with her mouth shut. Jova felt very embarrassed to talk about such things with others. Mama realizes that Jova still looks embarrassed - embarrassed to discuss such a thing. Remember Jova is a newlywed.

"Have it, don't discuss that song! we should have dinner now, how?" said Mama who was nodding at everyone sitting in the room.

"Oh yeah! you guys stay here!" said Papa while walking to the dining room.

After dinner, Alex takes Jova to his room on the second floor. Jova rounded her eyes looking at Alexander's room which was much more luxurious than his room in the apartment.

"Darling, your room here is much bigger as it turns out!"

"Yes! although I rarely lived or even had been empty for a long time, Mama still took care of this room as I wanted"

"Oh!" Jova went around and stopped at some photos on display on the wall. "Honey, where is this picture of you?"

"That's the apartment we stayed in for college while in England," Alex replied, "when we first came there" replied Alex who approached Jova.

"Oh!" Jova nodded, "where are you going to college?"

"Oxford University!" alex replied showing a photo of him taking a picture showing his campus building.

"Wow! you guys are so great!" jova looked proudly at Alexander.

"If this?" Jova pointed to one of the photos, "you still look so young!"

"I forgot where it was," Alex replied, "I don't even know if Mama put a lot of photos here."

"Well, how the hell!"

"Haha!" Alex chuckled, "I rarely get around!" alex continued while tipping Jova's neck, trying to tease her.

"Hemm.. get started!" jova.

In a few more episodes, Author will finish this novel. Hehe..
