Chapter 9

"Maybe the truth is I'm the one who drove you, sir" Jesica said, shaking her car keys.

Finally they both laughed loosely, because it seemed like their roles were turned upside down.

"You'd better drive" Jesica said, handing over the keys to Fello.

The man nodded and then grabbed the key that was handed over by Jesica. Fello drove the girl's car towards her Manor.

"Have you worked with Steve for a long time?" jesica asked as soon as they were in the car.

"I've known Steve since I was a teenager and until now, apart from being a manager, he's also my best friend" Fello replied, explaining Steve's relationship with him.

Jesica nodded, finally the girl understood why Steve looked so concerned about Fello.

"You yourself? How long have you known him?" Fello asked the sweet girl who was sitting next to him.

Jesica seemed to be counting with her fingers.

"It's not too long, it's only been about four months" Jesica replied as she brandished her fingers to make four.

"Oh." It was the only thing that came out of Fello's mouth after hearing Jesica's reply.

Finally, the rest of their journey spent in silence, both dissolved in their minds.

Today Ziga returned to Meadow Lane, the main residence of the Pratama family, the man wanted to visit the mother who reportedly lately his condition declined. However, as usual, the man was unable to meet the mother in person because Ayu refused to meet her son.

"We're going to open a branch there," Ziga breaks up, though the man wants to forget the bad memories of the time that Via left him from the country, but to be able to keep a close eye on his mother, Ziga buried those memories. The man also hopes that maybe later he will get new clues about his wife who until now he has not been able to find.

Erik nodded in understanding of the young master's intentions, the man rushed back to the company and left Ziga who was still paying attention to the activities of Ayu's mother.

Ziga looked back at the mother who was smiling at Hans' words, maybe the woman was happy because in the end she could go to S country to find her favorite daughter-in-law.

From the beginning Ayu was very fond of Via, his desire to have a girl seemed to manifest with the presence of his daughter-in-law. However, all his happiness has now been lost. Ziga putra solely his puppet seize the happiness and give it a wound that until now still can not be treated.

Seeing the mother smile made Ziga shed her tears. It had been a long time that the man had not seen a bright smile on his mother's face. Since the death of Danu the father, Ayu's face seemed to be covered in dark gray clouds. There was no light that could brighten his face and heart.

After seeing the mother's smile that was able to make her a little relieved, Ziga left Meadow Lane. The man returned to the company to meet with clients who would work with him for the hotel building process in the country.

"I'm sorry I'm late" Ziga said after realizing that his client had waited long enough in his office.

"It's okay, not too long ago, too," replied the client who turned out to be a beautiful woman who Ziga apparently knew.

"Keyla?" asked Ziga unsure because the woman who was in front of him looked different from when they used to be in one school.

"Yes, it's Me," Keyla replied displaying her sweet smile.

Ziga was surprised, the man did not think that his client was his old school friend. Especially now that Keyla's appearance has really changed. The woman looked more beautiful and also mature with a dress that is not too flashy work.

While Keyla himself felt very happy, the woman had long put her heart on her classmates during High School.

And now she has the opportunity to work together through the company where she works, so the woman will take advantage of this opportunity to approach the man who has long been her target.

"You're getting good-looking," Keyla praised straight away, the woman was completely blown away at Ziga's current appearance.

"Hc ... Ha ... Ha,"

Ziga laughed out loud at Keyla's praise. The man did not expect the once famous tomboyish girl to be able to admire even praise a man like her.
