Dave sat down next to the woman who was still drooping weakly. There were hundreds of kisses he gave in every corner of Safira's face. But that won't change that this girl will leave her side.

"Darling, what do I do to get us together?" lirih Dave, put Sapphira's hand on her cheek, as if giving warmth to that very cold hand.

"It turns out all my efforts have been in vain. I really can't resist your family's power." The man was so frustrated.

"I wanted to start a war with your brother. But I realized, that way wouldn't be the way out. I don't want to have you that way. I want you to stand next to me without the slightest burden."

Dave spoke assuming Safira heard him. The man was reluctant to leave his lover for a moment. Dave fell asleep next to the woman. However, before soundly picking her up, a silver-eyed ruby ring she glittered on her ring finger.

And when the sun began to shine on the earth, that's when Dave couldn't breathe calmly. Every second that passed, his heart also beat so fast.

Especially when the door of the room opened, several nurses came, followed by the doctor who handled Safira during that one day.

"Sir, I'll check on your wife's condition before being transferred" the doctor said.

"What do you mean! You guys, don't try to touch my wife!" Dave did not accept it and was ignited by emotions when he heard it.

"Since when did Sapphira become your wife!" a woman's voice sounded from the doorway.

Dave was silent for a moment, after which Dave inched a plea to the woman. Decrease any sense of prestige and self-esteem that he upholds.

"I beg Mother. Don't take him away from me." he asked.

"You have no right to obstruct me, Mr. Rodriguez!" Davina looked at him haughtily. "Safira is my daughter, I gave birth to her! As for you, you're just a bastard who came out of nowhere to ruin his life!"

"You should be grateful not Bara who came. If not, you may have lost your life! And you think I didn't know you were secretly building your company to beat the Pramana family?" Davina smiled mockingly.

"Even if you rule this world, you won't be able to take my daughter! Get out of front of me! Don't make me do more than this!" threaten Davina.

Dave was silent, in his prostration he could only shed his tears. Tears that come out for the first time after all this time. Tears that only come out for a Sapphira.

"Do your job!" davina's orders to the doctor and the nurses.

Davina looked at Dave who was bowing before her. He tries to soften his heart to forgive Dave, the man who ruined his daughter's life. However, given Sapphira's plight, it felt very difficult.

Almost half an hour the doctor finished his work. And unfortunately, Dave has to swallow the disappointment that Safira can travel even with the best control.

"You have made Sapphira suffer too much. You don't deserve to be his patron." Davina said, repeatedly breaking Dave's expectations.

"Is there no chance for me, Mother?" shrewd Dave.

Davina smiled cynically, "You guys are not matchmaking Mr. Rodriguez, don't expect anything impossible."
