Ignoring Reaven's expression, Karen continued to berate.

“Do you know how sad Miya was after you left her and left? She was humiliated and ridiculed by others because even her incompetent husband abandoned her. "What are you doing?" Karen was stunned as she moved her body on the chair restlessly.

"I have indeed disappointed Miya over these years. I failed to fulfill my duties as her husband, and it's not wrong for you to be angry with me" Lucas said in a deep voice.

Miya's superiority makes her feel inferior, she is embarrassed because she has nothing and is not a person who is and named.
