Chapter.46 (Between life and death)

"You why are you still seeing me." Eva stared intently at Sofia who after the incident a few months ago, finally came to see Eva.

Sofia tried to hold back her emotions. "Finally Auntie ended up here too. When I found out Auntie hit Reynald into a coma I regretted ever accepting Aunt's offer back then."

"What are you here for, huh? You want to make fun of me, or you want to go into custody. I could've knocked you out too, so before that happened you could get out of here."

"I'm angry and disappointed why Auntie hit Reynald! I wanted to have him but Auntie hurt him."

"Are you still thinking of taking him from Elisha? If so, you better stop now."

"I don't think about that anymore, I just want him to be conscious. I want him to be as healthy as he was. It's all because of Auntie! Aunt should have just died."

Eva's heart was re-shaken with those words. Why does everyone want him to disappear from this world. He regretted everything, but could not reveal it directly. Now for the rest of his life, he just wants to live a quiet life without distractions that make him even more frustrated.

"You better get out of here, our business is done. I'm warning you never to bother them again, you've failed and face the truth."

"Well what now is aunt siding with Aunt's niece? ... It's a shame that Reynald should never have been involved with your family, he should still be with me. Now just to find him who's not allowed."

"Get out of here, I want to rest" Eva said, then walked away from Sofia. He was even more frustrated if he continued to hear Sofia's words.

Currently in the hospital's VVIP room, Elisa and the others were gathering for lunch together. Melvin and the others agreed to accompany Elisha, they were unwilling to let Elisha feel lonely.

At least Elisha can smile with the cuteness of Jack followed by Tasya and Melvin who are also there, even though they know it will only make Elisha smile for a while.

"Oh yes Brother, now the content of Brother has been nine months. I'm sure the boy must be a boy and handsome as an uncle" Melvin said.

"You are the father" said Jack.

"I'm eleven and twelve with Rey, we're very similar in skin, nose, eyes and all" Melvin said.

"But what if her daughter, will certainly be as beautiful as her tant, hehe," said Tasya and then chuckled to himself.

Elisha could only smile then shook his head slowly at the chattering of the people before him now. He was grateful that there were still people with him at times like this.

In the middle of their chatter, suddenly the monitor located on the right side of the bed sounded loudly. Elisa and the others immediately moved closer to Reynald.

Elisha looked at her husband's face, which seemed to be getting pale, and panicked as the loud noise grew louder. He looked towards Melvin and the others. "Come to the doctor!"

"Okay, brother" said Melvin and quickly stepped out of the room with Jack.

The tears washed her beautiful face again. He kissed Reynald's hands and forehead. "Please, you must endure, baby, for the sake of me and our son. You can't leave us."

It didn't take long, though, finally his doctor came up with some nurses who pushed a medical device commonly referred to as AED (automated external defibrillator) is a medical device that can analyze the heart rhythm automatically and provide electric shocks to restore heart rhythm if needed.

"Dok, please my husband doc," said Elisha who until now still faithfully holds the hand of the husband.

"Well Miss, we'll do our best" the doctor said, then began to take Reynald's shirt off to put some medical equipment on his chest.

Reynald is very weak at the moment. His pulse and heart were very weak. Medically Reynald's condition is now hopeless, he survives only because of medical devices that help him to keep breathing.

But there is nothing more believable than the power of the Creator. Man may say no but the determinant of everything is above.

"One.two, three" said the doctor then attached the two objects and pulled them back until Reynald's body was lifted up. The doctor did so many times, for one hope Reynald's heart rhythm again beat.

Melvin who was behind the doctor could only cry without being able to do anything. Tasya and Jack tried to calm down even though they also felt the same sadness.

Elisha never let go of his hand. He was unprepared for the worst, slowly approaching and whispering something into Reynald's ear. "I beg you to be aware, remember our promise. You can't leave now. Realize I beg you." Elisha slowly kissed the forehead of her husband who was currently on the verge of death.

After saying those words in the ears of the husband. His heart rate suddenly became normal again. The straight line came back undulating and the Doctor was able to breathe a sigh of relief. "Mr Reynald has returned to us, it's a miracle."

Although not yet aware of the coma, but the pulse and heart that returned to normal make Elisa and the others again have hope of Reynald's recovery.

Elisha hugged Reynald while crying. He had almost lost half his soul. I can't imagine if all of this really happened.

Melvin and the others approached when the medical device that was installed, now it has been removed. They also felt relieved because Reynald still survived, although not yet realized.

Elisha wiped his tears again, he approached the doctor who was about to leave the room. "Thank you, Doc."

"It's a miracle. I was almost desperate because I barely felt Mr. Reynald's heartbeat. But now that he has returned to normal, Miss do not despair for sure and trust me Mr. Reynald will definitely pass the critical period," said the doctor.

"Of course Doc, thank you" said Elisa.

The doctor and some of the nurses left. Elisha again approached her husband. But suddenly his stomach was very painful, until he sat on the floor.

Tasya, Melvin and Jack came to Elisa.

"Big brother why?" ask Melvin.

Elisha did not have time to answer, suddenly out of liquid from under his feet, very much and continue to flow profusely.

"Sister El, this is amniotic Sister will definitely give birth, how quickly call a doctor," said Tasya who began to panic.

"What childbirth! now?" jack asked who came back in panic after just breathing a sigh of relief after Reynald returned to normal but suddenly Elisha returned to panic.

"Yes now, brother!" exciting Melvin.
