Without realizing the information he got was wrong, because Alex had told people to fool uncle Gilbert's men

So Gilbert's uncle got the wrong information, which Alex was supposed to be flying to America now instead of Canada

Soon uncle Gilbert comes out of his study and thinks of how to get rid of Alex
