eps. 10: Replacing the Queen's Position

"Baginda,"

The serious-looking Emperor Raymond looked up. After his farewell to Empress Shopia. Emperor Raymond continued the palace work that was delayed due to the convenience of making love with Consorts Lucia.

Concubine Lucia continued her education as a court lady. Emperor Raymond also chose a reliable man as his wife's teacher.

"What's wrong? your face looks serious." Emperor Raymond raised his eyebrows. Unlike usual, the man called himself on the sidelines of numerous palace reports.

"Are you sure of His Majesty's words?" asked the Knight with a face in a blanket of doubt.

"What do you mean? Don't be convoluted." Sentak Emperor Raymond. Because his nature does not like long-winded words. For him, words without going straight to the point are just a waste of time.

"Is Your Majesty confident of changing the position of the Empress?"

The sturdy table was immediately split into two. He did not feel like saying it even had not thought of shifting the position of the Empress. "Don't say anything. I never said I would replace the Empress."

"Has not His Majesty agreed to it." The knight felt strange for a moment. Emperor Raymond was angry. Though he himself wanted to make Consort Lucia the only one in this palace.

"When? I never agreed to it." Emperor Raymond was rising. He didn't feel approved of it at all. And Empress Shopia never talked about it.

Now the knight beside him understood, Emperor Raymond was unfocused. Perhaps his mind was distracted by Consort Lucia alone.

"The Empress said, if Consort Lucia should supplement her education to replace the Empress' position." He said as he gulped his saliva. This time a streak of anger came out from his face. Like a lion ready to strike.

"Did the Queen say that?" Emperor Raymond asked.

"Religion!" Emperor Raymond massaged his forehead. Truly he did not hear, true what he said to his patriarch. He lacks focus and even assures it without listening to further explanations.

"What should I do? I said yes."

In his confusion, his heart wondered. She should have been pleased with Empress Shopia's decision, but her heart was so unwilling that Empress Shopia's position would be removed. And that means, he's getting a divorce from Empress Shopia.

Emperor Raymond came out of his study. His steps stopped in front of a special room for the members of the palace to study education. Quickly, the man behind her opened the door. And sure enough, he saw the many books that were on the table. Even the woman who looked serious learned to stop her activities.

"Sheel." Concubine Lucia got up from her seat.

Emperor Raymond looked at all the books before him. Then he looked at the woman in front of him. "Hows it? Do you feel any distress?"

The stern-faced woman beside Emperor Raymond and the Knight left after seeing Emperor Raymond giving the code through a wave of his hand.

"It's hard, but I'll try. I was tired just now. But seeing His Majesty tired instantly I was gone." Consorts of Lucia. He approached with a kiss on the lips of Emperor Raymond. Every time the meeting, the two will greet through the lips as a sign of longing that has been cured.

"If there's something you don't understand. You can ask me."

"Of course, Your Majesty, I will strive to be a good companion for Your Majesty and not disappoint the request of the Empress. I'm ready to be an empress." Consort Lucia slowly extended her hands to Emperor Raymond's neck. Until the lips stick.

The taste in Emperor Raymond's heart was erratic. So far, he could say no matter about Empress Shopia having to leave the palace. In his heart he deeply apologized for his treatment.
