"I don't think you remember the way to this house" Jasmine quipped as they arrived at her family's residence.

"How can I forget a place that gives me so many memories?" Conrad's meaningful words made Jasmine look on.

"Uncle used to play to Mommy's house?" sean asked curiously.

Conrad nodded with a faint smile as he pulled Sean out of the car by holding him, not wanting for a second to let Sean off of him.

"Mommy's best friend?"

"Yes, of course. Mommy Jasmine is a very nice and pleasant companion."

The words of Conrad's best friend made Jasmine's mind scratched, sore. The tightness she was trying to control with a sweet smile.

"Let's Sean, get off Uncle Doctor's sling."

Sean shook his head as he held a hug to Conrad's neck.

"Sean, let's not get spoiled. Let Conrad's doctor sit, Sean wash his feet and hands with Mommy yeah." Jasmine extended her hand to Sean's body.

"Don't be forced, I'm not tired." Conrad clasped Jasmine's hand and took the woman's hand into the house.

Jasmine's body turned cold hot feeling the touch of warmth channeled by Conrad's hand grip. His heart was racing and his eyes were fixed on the links of their hands.

Jasmine pulled her hand from Conrad's grasp when they had arrived at the family room, she went away to hide the heat on her face which she believed was now definitely flushed red.

Jasmine nodded to Lupita letting the woman ask the chef to prepare dinner, while she chose to go upstairs, going into the room to calm down. Conrad's presence in this house left Jasmine overwhelmed with a sense of uncertainty.

Downstairs, Conrad lovingly takes off Sean's shoes and takes the boy to wash his feet and hands in the bathroom.

"Sean how long has it been back here?" Conrad again picked up the boy and took him to the sofa.

"It's only been four days." Sean leaned his body spoiled against Conrad's chest.  "Sean likes it here, the house is big."

"In London the house is not big?" Conrad stroked Sean's hair gently.

"The size of this house. In London Sean, Mommy and Lupita live in apartments, level houses."  Sean then turned his back and looked at Conrad full of question marks.

"Uncle why never come to an apartment in London?" The boy's question made Conrad grim.

"I'm sorry Uncle yes, because at that time Uncle had to study and work hard." he said.

If only I had known. .. I would have come to see you guys even brought you guys with me. Conrad's inner scream.

"Ooo. Sean used to play with who in London, tell Uncle what Sean's best friend's name was."

"Uncle Mark's! He used to take Sean to the park and the children's playgrounds." Sean seemed very excited when he mentioned Mark's name.

"Mark?"

Sean nodded.

"Does Uncle Mark live with you?" ask Conrad carefully.

"No. Uncle Mark lives in an apartment downstairs. Uncle Mark is also a school and loves to paint." Sean got off Conrad's lap. "Uncle Mark likes to teach Sean to draw."

"Oh yeah, let's see what Sean's drawing is now."

"Sean take a picture book first." Sean ran a little looking for Lupita. "Lupitaaaaa."

A faint smile was engraved on Conrad's handsome face. He looked at the tiny back with great sadness. If only time could come back she wouldn't let Jasmine run away from him. Sean ... surely he can see it growing just as he saw Kenzie's growth.

Light footsteps coming down the stairs made Conrad turn his face. His eyes locked onto the figure of the beautiful woman he so longed for, descending with graceful but cold-faced steps.

"It's late, you better go home now. I guess you must have another bustle waiting."  Jasmine's sharp words were only reciprocated with a gentle smile.

"Why are you so cynical about me, Jasmine?"

Conrad stood up from his seat and lined up Jasmine's steps leading to the dining room.

"Nothing has changed from this house" Conrad said as he spread his gaze around the house.

"What do you remember from this house?" Jasmine shrugged her shoulders indifferently.

"Of course I still remember how funny your face was when you lost playing cards and there," Conrad headed to the living room."you fell on top of me, didn't you?"

Jasmine perplexes to hear Conrad repeat past memories, even though he was actually the one who started them.

"I was not intentional at the time. Do you still hold a grudge until now, so you still remember it?" Jasmine smiled wryly.

"Of course I still hold a grudge." Conrad's words made Jasmine look at the man in surprise. Why should I hold a grudge?

"Just because I fell into you did you hold a grudge until now? Heh! I can't believe it." Jasmine said with disappointment and a sick heart.

If only that fell down at that time Ruby you would have been happier, right? Ah, Ruby .. are they married?

"Of course I was angry, irritated and vengeful to myself for not directly hugging and kissing you." Conrad smiled meaningfully towards Jasmine who was staring at him in surprise.

For a moment Jasmine fell silent in disbelief at the words coming out from the man's mouth. However, back he eroded all the feelings that would make him re-collapse like he used to.

"You're now better at saying yes .." Jasmine laughed at herself who was almost lulled with that sweet sentence.

"Not really, I'm just saying what's on my mind right now." Conrad looked straight at Jasmine who was sitting at the dining table right in front of him.

"What makes you-"

"Uncleeee it's Sean's picture book." Conrad's question is cut short by Sean's presence.

"Try here, Uncle look." Conrad lifted Sean's body and placed the toddler in the chair beside him.

"Wow, this is great." Conrad opened sheet by sheet showing the scribbles and uneven colors typical of children.

Conrad smiled at the talent the little boy had, how he could blend colors well and irregularly. The ability he also possesses. Conrad's gaze paused on the picture of the family with one child in the back.

"Whose picture is this, Sean?"

"That's Mammy, Sean and Daddy." he said with his mouth full of chicken.

"Daddy?"

"Huum." Sean nodded with his mouth full.

"Who na--" Conrad's words were again cut off with Jasmine's voice.

"Come, Sean, finish your meal. Uncle Doctor has to go home soon, it's night."

"Uncle wants to go home?" Sean looked at Conrad with a bit of disappointment.

"Yes, dong. Uncle Doctor also has his own family and busy." Jasmine chimed in on Sean's question quickly.

"Tomorrow we'll see you again, okay?"

"Sean .. It can't be like that, honey. This friend of Mommy's is a very busy Doctor. Sean forgot anyway, if tomorrow we're going to visit a new school?"

"really? Asyikkk .. Sean can have many friends yes, Mommy. Come on, Uncle quickly spent his meal already night."

Conrad could only stare at Jasmine, seeing how this woman had tried to prevent him from approaching Sean.

"He must be my son." Conrad's inner self assuredly.
