1. Displacements
This morning I was busy putting our stuff together.
Of course I have to arrange it myself, because my husband is at work.
Little info if my husband works in a 5-star hotel in Batam city
My husband was just an engineer at the hotel, but my husband's salary was more than enough to meet our household needs.
It's been 2 years living in this contract since we were newly married until my son was 13 months old, and actually I've been very comfortable living in our current contract, but at the moment our economy is very unstable.
Because of the Corona pandemic, many hotels in the city of Batam closed..
But fortunately the hotel where my husband worked did not close, but his salary was only paid half every month.
Honestly I was very dizzy, my husband's salary is only half of the base salary which is only 2jt, while the bonus he only gets 600k every month, which every month can reach 9-10 jt.
While our rental price is now 900k, it does not include water and electricity costs so every month we have to pay 1.5 jt.
Do not ask why the cost of electricity and water can be up to 600k, actually the cost of water is only 98k but the cost of electricity is expensive because even though it is not in use it still has to pay a load of about 150k.
And it happens that our contract is facilitated with 2 AC, and so the cost of electricity can be up to 500k.
Now I have to continue packing things while looking after my 13-month-old son...
Hopefully in the new lease later I can get a good neighbor like my current neighborhood.
It did not feel like the day had passed until afternoon, my husband had come home from work..
I am very tired, because the items I pack are not a little especially while looking after children..

When we finished saying goodbye, we headed for a new contract.
The trip was not far, only taking about 20 minutes from my old contract.
My new contract is in a land area, not a residential area so the rental price is much cheaper. Only 600k, that's another cost of electricity and water..
"Dek said the owner of the contract was the cost of electricity and water for us for two with his next-door contract" said my husband while on the trip

Arriving at a new contract
I was surprised to see our current contract, probably because the one occupying before him was a single man, so the state of this house was very dirty.
All the contact stock was damaged, and the state of the floor, walls, and bathroom was very dirty.not only that, I also saw things that made my heart restless.
