One corner of Esther's lips was raised to form a grin. His men sent him pictures of curly-haired women wearing glasses with uneven teeth. Edo said it was a photo of Mulan, the woman believed to be Rayyan's biological mother.
Luckily, just a moment ago Rayyan had said a big secret that only Rayyan knew about Mulan. The woman deliberately changed her appearance for the sake of something that was still a question. That's why Esther can not be fooled just by the appearance of Mulan because she believes more in Rayyan.
"Do you know? My mom is actually very pretty. But he purposely wears fake hair and thick glasses to make it look ugly."
"Oh yeah?" Esther gaped at Rayyan's confession earlier.
"really. Mama even added dentures to make her lips look puffy." Rayyan added while seriously enjoying the food.
"Why is that?
"Come Oma. Mama always told me not to tell anyone this" Rayyan replied.
"Why did Rayyan tell Oma?"
"Because Oma is papa's real mama," the boy replied firmly but still looked innocent. It really made Esther more in love with Rayyan because the boy gave her trust.
At once Esther's life felt beautiful and colorful. Years of living in voidness because of the desire to have grandchildren that Bara can not grant, now it seems to be real thanks to the presence of Rayyan.
The woman smiled again, then kissed Rayyan on the top of her head. "Thank you, honey. Thank you for giving Oma confidence," she said with a trembling tone holding back the cries.
"All this Rayyan did for Mama, Oma. Rayyan just wants Mama out of her misery. Rayyan wants Mama to be happy. Mama always sacrificed for Papa. Mama lives hard. Mama is even willing to live under the pressure and humiliation of people. All this because of Papa, Oma! Every time Rayyan asks why Mama is disguised like that, Mama's answer is always the same every day. My mother said it was all for our good. Women without husbands are very unsafe if they have a beautiful face. That's why Mama keeps her beauty for Papa."
Esther was stunned to hear Rayyan's words. Whether true or not the boy said, but still Mulan had a good way of conveying reason. As for his own truth, it seemed to be his duty to investigate.
"Oma," whined Rayyan later.
Esther who was originally daydreaming is now directly focusing on Rayyan. "Yes Dear. What's up?"
"Can Oma tell Papa to pick up Mama?"
Esther was still speechless, so Rayyan again gave her reason.
"Home .... Because we were separated for too long, Papa didn't even recognize who Rayyan was. Papa hates Rayyan, Oma. Papa doesn't want to be followed by Rayyan," whining boy is typical of small children. "Rayyan is only afraid if Papa forgets Mama too. Rayyan is afraid that Papa hates Mama for forgetting. Rayyan did not want Mama's sacrifice all this time ended in vain. Rayyan doesn't want Papa to betray, Oma."
How would Esther have the heart if the adorable boy spoke while shedding tears?

"Married?" Bara repeated a word that was spoken from his lips as if in disbelief. The man was confused and surprised. When he just arrived at the mother's house, the woman immediately pointed with an unreasonable order.
"Yes. Married." Esther confirms Bara's question.
"Who, Mama! What for!" growled without being able to hide his immortality.
"Of course to build a house! With Mulan, Rayyan's mother."
Instantly Bara turned his back. The man looked closely at Esther, then laughed.
"Mom, Mama. That's right!" yelling Bara in between her laughter. "Mama can have ambition! Mama could want something! But don't ever torture anyone else, is that me!"
"Mama didn't want to torture you, Bara! Mama wants your happiness!"
"Happiness?" Bara repeated the word with a dismissive tone. "Which happiness does your mother mean? What's the way to make me a ward?"
Esther took a long breath. He tried to patiently face the hard heart of Bara.
"Why is Mama silent? What I said was true, wasn't it?"
"Well, if you don't want to marry Mulan. But you have to marry another woman and give Mama a grandchild. Are you willing?"
Now replace the silent Bara. It made Esther grin to win because of it.
"Why silence? Does that mean you agree? So you can give Mama a grandchild?" Esther smiled gently and walked over to her son. His hand then moved rubbed the sturdy shoulders of Bara full of affection. "Mama promise. Mama wouldn't force you to marry Mulan if you could give Mama a descent. How's it?"
Not answering with a word, Bara just stared at Esther with her jaw tightened. The man slowly brushed Esther's hand off her shoulder, and without saying goodbye, she slipped out of Esther's presence.
Esther left by Bara, not necessarily offended just like that. He smiled with satisfaction while looking at the back of his son who moved away with his hands folded on his chest.
Bara who is aware of his weakness is immediately sensitive when talking about matters concerning children. However, Esther remained calm. He knows how his son is. Sooner or later he will hear the good news.
