CHAPTER 22

Andika is now kneeling before Silvi. "I beg you." He did not care about the eyes of the people around him including Rika and Dion. "Come back to me..."

Silvi looked at Andika. All of Andika's treatment flashed back in her mind. He pulled both of his hands that Andika held.

"I won't repeat the same mistake." Then Silvi turned her body.

Andika held Silvi's hand back. He is now standing. "alright. I won't force you anymore. From now on, I'll let you go. You are free to choose your life partner, who is much better than me. May you always be happy." Slowly Andika took off her hand. He turned his back and slowly walked towards his car.

Silvi turned her body back. He looked at Andika's back that was moving away. Why it feels like someone just broke up.

Silvi will not chase after Andika. It never will. He walked back to his bike.

"Sil," Dion's call stopped his footsteps. He forgot he had to see Dion back then. "Lo not papa?" ask Dion.

Silvi shook her head and tried to smile. "Gue ain't papa. Sorry, my mood's a mess, I'm home now yeah."

"Sil, actually I want to give these books to you and some scholarship programs in college." Dion gave a tote bag containing several thick books.

"Thanks yes." Silvi looked at the contents in the bag. There are several books to prepare for final exams and tests to college.

Dion kept staring at Silvi's face. He knew there was sadness in his heart. "Sil, I know someone like Mr. Dika does not deserve to be forgiven but there must be something that makes you not willing to let go of Mr. Dika."

Silvi looked at Dion. "Deliberate? Why am I not willing? He's evil, I can't repeat the same mistake." Then Silvi got on the bike. "Once again thank you, I want to study hard so I can enter college with a scholarship."

Then Silvi began to advance his motorbike leaving Dion who was still standing.

I don't know why suddenly those tears flowed down Silvi's cheeks. He could laughly cover all his feelings in front of Dion, but when he was alone, he couldn't possibly hold back his feelings.

I should be happy, Mr. Dika has gone from my life. Not sad as I think.

A few moments later Silvi's motorbike stopped in front of his house. He immediately came down and said hello. He now goes into his room. Put the tote bag on the study table.

He tiptoed to pick up the cardboard he had just removed. He took another teddy and hugged her.

"Forget it."

He threw his body on the bed. He just stared at the dull ceiling of his room.

Moments later, he lifted the teddy bear right above his face.

"Well! Ngeselin." Then he threw the doll to the wall.

Silvi was now sitting on the edge of the bed. "Gue should focus on learning. Can't think of Mr. Dika or anything else that doesn't matter in my life."

Then Silvi stood up and took out the contents of the tote bag. There are some thick books to learn right away. But his eyes sparkled when he saw a brochure of one of the state universities.

"Art faculty?" One of them in the campus there is a dance arts faculty. "Gue has to enter this college!"

Her steps are now stalled near the classroom corridor as Rika confronts her

Silvi just stared at Rika for a moment, as usual she just passed through Rika's body.

"Silvi, thank you." said Rika.

That sentence made Silvi stop her steps. "Make?"

"Yesterday you helped me."

Silvi just nodded slowly. He will step his foot but this time his hand is held by Rika.

"Sil, I'm sorry about you."

Slowly Silvi twisted her body. "I'm sorry you." She smiled looking at Rika.

"Gue has been wrong a lot. Just out of heartache, I'm your enemy. I should've preferred this friendship over that revenge."

Silvi just stared silently at Rika.

"Aren't you going to be as friendly with me as you used to be?" ask Rika.

Silvi stepped forward and hugged Rika. "Lo remains my best friend from the past until now."

Rika was moved to hear Silvi's words. She feels like she is the most evil person in the world when she antagonizes her own best friend just because of a man.

"Thanks." said Rika with teary eyes.

"Udahlah." Silvi took off her embrace. "We don't have to talk about this anymore. Let's forget. I want to focus on learning first."

"But when it comes to lessons we're still rivals." Rika holds Silvi's arm. They walked together to class.

"Okay, who's afraid. I must be champion one."

"Sound one from below."

They both laughed. After a long time finally Silvi can laugh freely again with her best friend.

At the end of the classroom corridor, Dion just walked slowly while smiling looking at Silvi's happy smile.

I am happy to see you happy. Finally, my plan worked...
