Hi, Danny — What's Today?

Hi, Danny — What's Today?
Danny Vs Maths Teacher

It didn't feel like almost a week I was a high school student, time was going so fast.

I saw the digital clock on my desk, 07.00 in the morning. I immediately rushed downstairs for breakfast. I saw my mother preparing the provisions I was going to bring today.

There's a papa watching a political news broadcast on TV. Everyone seems busy with their activities.

I walked to the dinner table and joined Papa. Eat an indomie breakfast of chicken curry with boiled eggs and drink the warm tea my mama made.

I daydream about what surprises my class kids will make today, especially Danny.

I immediately put in a spoonful full of my favorite noodle sauce.

...****...

Today the first lesson is mathematics. I like math, if I know the answer. If you don't know, I don't like it, simple.

I heard rumors circulating, my math teacher is notoriously fierce and crazy. Super killers. He does not hesitate to ignore late students and permission to enter the class.

Silence them until the class ends by giving them a push-up penalty. Be grateful, because that means his mood is good.

If the mood is bad, he will let you in and tell you to keep pushing up nonstop until the lesson is over. Huuuuh terrible.

Today, I accompanied Adnan to pick up the package book that was in the library. Previously, Adnan had been contacted by our math teacher. Before classes start, Adnan must pick up the package book first in the library.

Be, Adnan asked me who was watching the picket to accompany him to pick up the package book.

On the way back, I saw Danny, who was almost late, entering the school area with a break. He occasionally hummed and slightly jumped in excitement.

It seems like this guy's mood is good.

He walked until he met us. He smiled and suddenly picked up the other half of the book to help us. That surprised me and Adnan.

After that, the three of us walked together while carrying the package book, heading to the classroom.

Suddenly, the three of us were startled by the sound of someone shouting. The three of us immediately turned our heads to see the origin of the sound source.

There stood someone we called, Mr. Hendra, the math killer teacher I just talked about.

He looked angry and pointed at Danny.

"KAMUU... WHAT TIME IS IT, NOW??! WHY JUST CAME? WHAT CLASS ARE YOU, HAHH?!", cried Mr. Hendra instantly.

Me and Adnan shuddered in horror when they saw Mr. Hendra. And we looked directly at Danny who was looking back at Mr. Hendra.

"Class, 10-5. It's 8 in the morning, sir. Lah, father himself why would you go to class sir?", said Danny casually.

Me and Adnan were immediately shocked and Adnan directly hit Danny's arm to be careful as he spoke.

"YOU... YOU I FORBID ENTRY TO MY CLASS TODAY", Shouted Mr. Hendra again.

"If I get to class first before you, you have no right to take me out of class. Agree?", Danny said for a moment.

"I'M HERE WHO HAS THE RIGHT TO SPEAK, NOT YOU", cried Mr. Hendra again.

"Well, then my father forbade us to go to our class today, is it too late?", said Danny.

But another surprising thing happened.

Me and Adnan were silent for a while when they witnessed the incident.

What are they doing?? God, I can hardly believe a Danny can make a killer teacher like Mr. Hendra run to meet his challenge.

I immediately realized and helped Adnan to stand up, we had to walk to class immediately as well, otherwise we might even be expelled because we were late delivering books.

We walked until we finally passed the 11th class building.

Along the way, we saw 11th-grade brothers huddling in front of the class with teachers who also came out to see the situation.

Me and Adnan who understand what the reason they are all in a group can only bow their heads apologizing for the noise that occurred so that it disrupted the teaching hours.

Adnan and I didn't see Mr. Hendra and Danny all the way down the 11th-grade aisle. It was likely that they had almost reached the 10th class building.

I think it's true, there won't be any peace going on at school when everything crosses paths with Danny.

...****...

Finally, after a long walk, Adnan and I got to class.

I saw there Mr. Hendra and Danny were sitting drowning on the floor of class.

I saw the children in my class all silent staring at the two of them. I guess they were all confused and asked what happened?

Me and Adnan walked past the two of them and put down the package book we were carrying.

I immediately returned to my seat, and Adnan tried to get close to inquire about their situation.

I immediately pulled Jamil's arm slowly.

"Who gets to class first? Mr Hendra or Danny?", I asked while lowering my voice.

"Danny, but is there anything?", whispered Jamil later.

I then whispered and told Jamil about the incident that had just happened. Jamil nodded and held back his laughter.

Not long after, Danny stood up and put both his hands to his waist. Then, take a deep breath and exhale it strongly

I think the two of them really put out some extra energy earlier.

Mr. Hendra finally stood up and stared cynically at Danny.

"Well you win, please sit there in your chair", said Mr. Hendra admitted defeat.

Danny smiled with satisfaction and sailed his way to his desk. I looked back and saw Johan holding out his hand to shake hands with Danny.

Because of that day. Because Danny sparked the idea for a running race with Mr. Hendra.

Many children end up with similar fate. Even from a distance Mr. Hendra was able to recognize that the late student was the student in the class he was going to teach. So that way, Mr. Hendra will immediately run as hard as he can to steal the start and when he gets to class then there will be no free gap for the student can follow the math lesson session with him.

Every math lesson with him, almost rarely found late students.

Thanks to Danny we were all confused, either having to thank Danny or cursing him.
