HEY JUN

HEY JUN
07

This morning the sun was shining brightly. Juna stepped foot into the gate of Scholar High School lightly. His smile rose when he saw Mr. Udin welcoming him in front of the school gate with a smile.

Pak Udin is a security guard at Scholar High School who doubles as a gardener. Every morning Mr. Udin would stand in front of the gate to welcome the students and teachers who came to the school.

"Morning, Mr. Juna" said Mr. Udin as Juna passed in front of him.

Juna immediately replied to Mr. Udin's greeting kindly. He continued his steps towards the teacher room while occasionally looking towards the field. Juna smiled as he looked at the few students who were walking while engrossed in joking.

Longs. Yes, Juna misses their noise. Several days languishing in a quiet detention room made Juna miss the laughter of his students.

"Hey,Jun....!!! are you free???"

Andika, Juna's co-worker at Scholar High School immediately ran over to Juna. He is the only teacher who can be said to be close to Juna. Andika teaches biology while Juna teaches sports.

"Thank God, Dika. Thanks to Mr. Zaini's help, I'm free."

"Well, thank goodness, Jun, if Mr. Zaini is willing to intervene! I was worried that he would fire you when he heard that you were arrested" Dika said.

"How did you get caught by the police? Is it true that you interrupted Diandra and ruined her wedding?" ask Dika.

"I'm not bothering him, Dika. You know for yourself since we broke up I've never seen her again."

Andika nodded confirming Juna's words. He does know what the story of Juna and Diandra is like so it is not surprising that Andika was very surprised when she heard the news of Juna's arrest.

"Then if it wasn't that problem, what case would you be in until the police arrest?" ask Dika again curious.

"The bodong case."

"Bodong's case? bodong investments?."

"Bodong case, Dika, not a bodong investment. There's no case but I'm under arrest."

"Huh??? How come??? It's funny" Andika said laughing.

"Indeed. Mr. Narto is very funny. Maybe he often watched a funny show so he made a joke like this" said Juna ngasal.

The school bell rings. Juna and Dika split up because they had a teaching schedule in the first hour. Juna will teach X-1 while Dika will teach in XI-IPA 1.

Juna does not go directly to the field but sits in the teacher's room because before the lesson begins the students will pray and sing the song Indonesia Raya first. After finishing, Juna went out into the field.

"Good morning...!" Juna greeted his students who had lined up neatly without his orders.

"Morning, Mr. Juna." they answered compactly.

"As usual before getting into the core material, you warm up first. Run the field three times, then exercise for ten minutes. Taufik, you lead gymnastics!" juna gave the order.

Without many words Juna's eighteen disciples immediately warmed up according to Juna's orders. While they warm up, Juna goes to the barn to pick up a volleyball.

Juna took a deep breath when he saw that there was only one volleyball that was still in good condition. The state of the school is very concerning. However, Juna remains grateful because there is still a volleyball that can be used.

What can be expected from schools in rural areas that lack assistance like here? Juna can teach football and volleyball material alone is already profitable. Although Juna was sure his students were bored because they would get the material for three years.

Juna picked up the volleyball and rushed back towards the field. He saw they were done doing gymnastics. Juna blew the whistle while throwing a volleyball at Taufik.

"Yet another volley, sir?" tanya Taufik lethargic.

"Nothing else what, sir?."

"Once in a while badminton dong, sir, basketball, or sepak takraw. Bosen, sir, keep volleying."

"Yes, sir. Replace dong. Cook volley mulu. Juna sir is not cool."

Juna let out a long sigh hearing the babble of his protege. They were new to X class but had already started to protest to him. It was only three months that Juna taught them and they had already complained of being bored with the material. So Juna thought, What about the XII class that almost three years met with the material? Surely they were nauseous and bloated with the material that Juna taught.

"I'm sorry the kids are just volleyball. You must understand this school is a remote school. You school here is free so the facilities are like this" said Juna while scratching his nape that does not itch.

"Huuuuuuuuu.." The disciples shouted at Juna.

Juna walked towards the edge of the field. He watched them play while waiting for his teaching hours to finish. Juna glanced at his watch, apparently it was almost eight o'clock. Juna time for breakfast.

Juna got up from his seat and walked towards Bu Udin's shop, Pak Udin's wife who was beside the school. Juna does not have breakfast if there is a teaching schedule in the first hour. So if it is eight o'clock he will go to the Bu Udin stall to buy breakfast.

"Lontong pecel equals iced tea huh, Miss Udin. As usual, I wait by the side of the field" said Juna then left to return to the sidelines.

Juna sat back on a bench made of bamboo. On the sidelines there are a lot of benches like this. Know that Juna who made the benches was Mr. Udin. Pak Udin made it so that it can be used as a seat by students or teachers. Mr. Udin deliberately placed the benches under the mango tree to be shady and cool.

"Sir Juna, this is lontong pecel and iced tea."

Juna looked to the left. A student brought Juna's order. Ms. Udin never delivered on her own. He will send students or students who happen to pass in front of his stall to deliver the orders of teachers.

"Eh, thank you, Siti" said Juna as he took the plate and glass from the student's hand.

"My name is not Siti, sir" the girl grumbled.

"Who? why not? You're a XII-IPA class kid, right?."

"Really, Sir. My name is not Siti. Siti class XII-IPS, sir."

"Keep if not Siti then whose name are you?" ask Juna.

"My name is Fira. Diha... Mr. Juna and his own students forget" Fira grumbled to make Juna giggle.

After giving Juna an order, Fira asks for permission to leave as she must get into her class immediately. Juna agrees and quickly Fira runs towards her class.

"Basic boy!" juna Cibir.

Juna then read the prayer before eating and began to eat lontong pecel made by Bu Udin. Food worth three thousand rupiah which became the mainstay menu Bu Udin. Cheap but not delicious. Because the portion is small for adults like Juna.

Usually Juna will add three ote-ote and 2 pieces of fried tempeh. But as Juna's old date and wallet are in crisis, Juna holds back and has to eat potluck without additions as usual.

As Juna was engrossed in devouring lontong pecel, the two neutrals caught the figure of a foreign woman walking towards the principal's room. The woman carried a brown map while occasionally smiling when she passed by a student or one of the teachers.

Friendly and jolly, that was Juna's initial impression for the woman. Beauitiful? sure is. Although from a distance that is not close, Juna can see his face is white clean with chubby cheeks that make him anxious.

That woman doesn't seem to be a native of this village. Her face was slightly Chinese, her skin was white and her makeup was also epic. It was impossible for the girl to be a villager if she looked fashionable like this.

"Eat, woiii....!!! Eat...!!! Jelalatan aja the eyes of a clear girl" ledek Dika who somehow since when has been next to Juna.

"E.m...m....".m..." Juna immediately misbehaved when teased Andika.

"Siahhhh. Juna, why? fascinated by girls?" ledek Andika again.

"Aduuhhhhhh... it turns out that this easy Mr Juna moved on from Diandra? The son of the tobacco manager who is said to be the most beautiful in the world rayahhh. ah. ah. ah.." said Dika chuckled.

Juna punched Andika on the shoulder. The bluff that brought up Diandra certainly made Juna upset.

"There was once a saying that would not move to another heart even though Diandra had become the wife of people. Apparently oh it turns out. there is a clear dikittt already mangap" said Dika make Juna must smother his mouth. Juna was worried that Andika's babble was heard by someone else.

"WHAT THE HELL, JUN??? IT'S PECEL NEMPEL SEASONING IN MY MOUTH...!!!" yell Andika. He threw both of Juna's hands hard.

"You're so noisy. Disturb people from eating" said Juna Ketus.

"What do you eat?."

"What the hell, Dika...???."

"Udah ngaku. See the girls again?" Andika continued to tease Juna while raising her eyebrows.

Juna did not answer. He hurriedly got up leaving Dika with the excuse of wanting to return the plates and glasses to Bu Udin. Andika who understood Juna's behavior of course shouted, calling Juna not to run away.

Andika tried to block Juna's hand. However, it failed because Juna immediately took a thousand steps to escape leaving Andika who continued to curse him with annoyance.
