Ruru Liberation Test

The white light was blinding my vision, it shone quite brightly for a moment and faded quickly. After the light was gone, I arrived at a beautiful garden. The park has a variety of flowers and trees. I was also amazed to see the beauty, while I was in a fairyland.

Shortly after, arrived – just arrived I saw a handful of shadows that happened to pass by. Imagine it looks like Ruru but in the state of – children. I tried to follow him from behind and wanted to talk to him.

However, the pace of the walk Ruru small stir fast. He seemed to run while laughing freely like there was no obstacle in him. Step by step I did, even though my body ran as hard as possible trying to catch up with him but I always lost Ruru at the turn of the road.

Until I finally followed Ruru to the point where he was running towards someone sitting under a shady tree. Little Ruru ran towards the person while continuing to laugh cheerfully, she immediately hugged the person and lay on her lap.

Out of curiosity, I tried to approach them both. I wonder who could make Ruru smile like that. After getting close enough to them, I immediately looked at the person and was surprised to see him.

The person I saw in front of me was very similar to Ruru, only in her ears and hair were different. The ears of the woman are very long beyond the normal ears of Ruru, and the pattern of her hair is silver to white – whitish.

My feeling is that the person is Ruru's mother. His smile that exuded an aura of immense affection towards Ruru made me feel calm. I don't know why I feel at peace seeing a smile from him.

Shortly after that his eyes that initially looked towards Ruru who was asleep on his lap arrived – arrived looking at me. He looked at me and started asking about me.

“Who are you ?”

I was surprised to hear his words too. I just thought that the place I went to was some sort of past memory, but it was strange why this memory could communicate well with me.

“Eh, wait can you see me ?”

“Of course I can see you”

“Wait isn't this some kind of memory of past events ? Why can we communicate well ?”

“Maybe there are so many questions you want to ask me, but it is better to postpone it first”

“Hmm ?” I said while frowning my forehead.

“Isn't your goal to return Ruru to her former self ?”

“Wait for you to know how to return it as you were?”

“It is arguably yes, but there is a kind of big risk that you have to take !”

“Will I do ! Despite having to sacrifice my life, if this is for Ruru then I am ready for the consequences !”

The Ruru-like woman looked at my face seriously, looking into my eyes that I wasn't lying to her. The woman felt that I had a great determination to save Ruru.

“Hmm, so so yes. I will teach you how but this could threaten your life ! Do you still want to do it ?”

“Iya” I said without a doubt.

“Then you must go to the middle of the labyrinth, there is Ruru who is asleep, wake up ! Then he will regain consciousness and become a figure like his former self”

When I saw the labyrinth she was pointing at, my feelings began to grow impatient. I feel attracted and want to quickly – quickly complete the challenge. With a determined step I walked into the labyrinth and prepared to wake Ruru up.

Just before my departure, the woman said that there would be a creature that would prevent me from waking Ruru, and if I failed or lost against her then I would die in that place.

I also arrived in front of the labyrinth, while I was standing in front of the entrance alone could feel the aura of ugliness from within. The aura felt like a wind blowing coldly and grippingly. But I had no choice but to enter.

The moment I stepped one foot into the labyrinth, the air that came out was getting a little tighter and stuffy, as if it was pushing me away from the labyrinth. But I still stepped on my feet to enter it even deeper.

Inside the labyrinth, I walked fully to the heart of – hati. Alert, I looked left and right to find something suspicious. But so far, there is no sign of – a creature or monster that appears, but only silence that surrounds me.

Seeing from such a calm situation, I also slightly lowered my vigilance for a moment, but it only made me hit by a surprise attack by a creature that I did not know of at all its existence.

I fell to the ground because of the impromptu attack. At that moment I stood up and looked around the area. But the sign – sign of a creature does not exist at all, in that place there is only me and the sound of the wind that blows towards me.

It amazes me – heranan, I feel like scratching – scratch my head and ask who attacked me earlier. Shortly after that, I was hit by the next attack. My body was pushed forward and almost fell again to the ground.

Again – again I also looked behind me, but the same thing repeated again. I did not see any sign – sign of a monster or a human who was in that place but me. Then I turned my brain, trying to figure out exactly what I was fighting and why I couldn't find it.

And for the second time, a gust of wind passed through my body, but this time the difference was that the wind felt like it was clawing at me. Because I felt strange with the wind I tried to hit it with my strength and the result came out a bat-like creature that had sharp fangs and a pointed tail.

Seeing him who arrived – just appeared and attacked me with such circumstances makes me want to finish him, but the herd of monsters appear in groups from within the walls of the labyrinth. I didn't feel I could beat them either, and I didn't have time to serve them all because my time was so limited and I had to make Ruru aware immediately. Therefore I also decided to run and rush to the middle of the – middle of this sickening labyrinth.
