Chapter 19

Ayu went to the kitchen early in the morning to make breakfast. And when going to the dining table served everything crossed with Romi.

Ayu and Romi fell silent and just stared at each other without speaking.

Ayu chose to throw away her face and continue her work. While Romi looked at Ayu with deep regret.

He is the one who will marry Ayu and be the driver of her life. But because of his mistake, he must be willing to give up Ayu to be his sister's bride.

Aditya who came down from the top floor saw his brother staring at Ayu for a very long time, then walked up to Ayu.

"Is this breakfast for me?" ask Aditya.

Ayu nodded.

"Yes, for you," said Ayu then sat down disregarding Romi who stood looking at her without speaking a word after knowing that Ayu and Aditya would marry soon from his mother last night.

It was supposed to be breakfast for Romi, but since he was now going to marry another girl, then it now belonged to Aditya, who would be his successor's bride.

Romi then left the dining table without speaking anything. He went upstairs and didn't make breakfast. Her appetite was gone, seeing her bride-to-be sitting together with her own sister.

"You're not papa?" tanya Aditya saw two tear points fall on Ayu's cheeks.

Aditya knew very well that this was not easy for Ayu. She meets her brother every day and they originally had a dream of living together. Now it will be a brother-in-law.

Ayu nodded slowly and bowed.

As their breakfast was running out, a woman came down from upstairs. It turns out she was Lucy. And Ayu never expected that Lucy would stay at this house.

Ayu turned to the sound of footsteps. Lucy was walking with her daughter down the stairs.

Aditya then looked in the same direction. They stared at Lucy and her son together for a moment.

Aditya then holds Ayu's hand trying to give her strength. Ayu who usually refused, this time let her hand be grasped by Aditya.

Lucy's going into the kitchen and passing them both.

Lucy smiled at Ayu and seemed to want to talk to her. Aditya gives the two women a chance to talk. Aditya tells Ayu to go to her room for a while. His watch was left behind.

"I'll go to my room first, my watch is left behind," Aditya said and answered a nod by Ayu.

Ayu's heart crumbled dimly when she saw Lucy. Because of him, his marriage that was in sight was canceled.

"I'm sorry, I came at an inopportune moment" Lucy said, feeling guilty for Ayu.

"Why did it just come? Why not from before? " Ayu wanted to know the reason why he came when he was betrothed to Romi. And love for Romi begins to blossom in her.

"I'm looking for him but I just found out if he lives here. And I was shocked to find out she was going to marry you. Because Romi also doesn't know if he's had a child from our relationship in the past,"

"Why could that be? Why didn't you tell him? You've come and ruined everything!" said Ayu annoyed.

"I want my son to have a clear status" Lucy said.

"But, before her I'm sorry, if you're offended. A child born outside of marriage is a mother's child. And you take full responsibility for him. Because you're not married. And as far as I know, it's at your risk, because you're guilty of not taking good care of yourself" Ayu said.

Suddenly, Lucy sobbed after hearing Ayu's explanation.

"You're so cruel. What if the same thing happened to you!" lucy said with a ketus while her son played with his aunt at Aditya's house.

"I know the risks. And I would never make that mistake. Even a child born out of wedlock has no right to his father's living,"

Ayu continued to speak something she knew from a book she had read.

Ayu just smiled faintly.

"What I said was true. That's what I know. It's up to you to take it or not" Ayu said, then went to say goodbye to her aunt for the office.

Aditya comes down from the top and immediately chases Ayu.

"Jeez, wait! Let me drive you to the office" said Aditya.

Ayu didn't bully him.

Aditya held her wrist.

Ayu stopped and looked at Aditya's hand that was holding her wrist.

"Let me drive you," suddenly Romi came from the main door. Ayu and Aditya were shocked and looked at each other.

"Aditya, let's go," Ayu paid no heed to Romi. He was completely disappointed with his current fate and also he did not want to continue talking about the problems that had already happened, and his heart was broken again every time he heard Romi's mistakes in the past.

"Jeez, wait!" Romi is chasing Ayu.

"Lucy's making breakfast for you. You better get inside" Ayu said and then get into Aditya's car.

Aditya immediately started his car.

"Well...can't we talk? Just for a second?" pinta Romi's.

"No. There's nothing we need to talk about anymore" Ayu said and looked the other way.

Romi took a deep breath and he could clearly see the disappointment and sadness in Ayu's eyes.

Romi then goes inside and meets Lucy.

"Papa.." suddenly his son ran towards him and asked to be carried by Romi.

Romi who felt awkward finally did not have the heart to see the little girl whine for help in her cradle.

Romi rubbed his watery eyes. She loves Ayu but when dealing with this innocent little girl, she also has no heart to hurt her little heart.

"Mas.it's breakfast for you," said Lucy smilingly seeing Tiara, her son in his papa sling.

"Yes...." Romi, who was originally going to say something to Lucy, abandoned his intentions.

"Mam..mamm.." said Tiara funny and cedal.

"Here, eat with mom. Ma'am ready?" said Lucy.

"No. The smell is papa." said Lucy funny and adorable.

Weni and her husband came down from above. They are very tired and wake up later than usual.

Seeing Romi eating with Lucy and her granddaughter, his heart was happy and felt that everything would go well. Aditya wants to marry Ayu. And Romi with Lucy. Mama Weni thought if everything was done well.

"Look pa, even though the problem came in many years, but my mom was happy. Finally we can get a way out of this problem" Mama Weni told her husband.

"Yes ma. Ayu, it also seems that she doesn't mind getting married to Aditya. And Romi with his responsibility for his mistake" said her husband.
