Hello, Lecturer Sir!

Hello, Lecturer Sir!
Chapter 30's

...'You are not alone, you have me.'...

...—Arsen Megantara—...

When Bianca was about to put the plate in her cell phone pantry ringing out loud, her free right hand reached into her pants pocket. As soon as he saw the caller ID without warning he immediately shifted the green icon. Since this morning he felt anxious, his feelings were very unpleasant. Now the feeling arises increasingly when his ears catch the stuffing of the middle-aged woman on the other side.

Bianca. "Hello, Miss Dya," she said.

The middle-aged woman was growing sobbing. "Hello, nduk."

Bianca breathed a heavy sigh. "Bu Dya why cry? What's Mom's situation?"

"Bi, your mother's condition is getting worse," pause for a moment, the woman tried to calm down, "after she finished washing the blood, her heartbeat weakened. Your mother was rushed to the ICU, nduk."

Prangs!

The plate on his left hand fell to the floor, followed by his phone. Bianca's body froze, slowly shaking her shoulders. It felt like her world had stopped spinning, the woman who was the source of her happiness was being critical. Tears rolled down her cheeks, Bianca biting her lips trying not to sob. Until a familiar heavy voice entered his eardrum.

"Bi" call the man. Bianca fluttered, her tongue was twisted.

"Bianca," call the man again. Hearing footsteps approaching, Bianca walked away. He didn't want Arsen to see him as fragile as this.

"Don't come any closer" Bianca ordered. But what happened next was that he was in the arms of an Arsen Megantara.

"Stop being so strong," whispered Arsen, "cry, Bi. Crying doesn't mean you're weak."

Bianca was stunned when she heard Arsen's whisper, she hugged him tightly back. That was grumpy right, he could not put on a face as if everything was fine. Bianca is tired, she is tired of pretending. For this time, he allowed himself to take off the weight on his shoulders for a moment.

***

This is where Bianca is now, amidst the hustle and bustle of Juanda Airport. After getting a call from Bu Dya about his mother's health, he rushed to the train station. But Arsen held her back, the man took her to the airport. Unmitigated, his lecturer followed him to the city of birth. Bianca insists on keeping Arsen from coming, but the man wants to keep her company.

The white Audi car stopped in front of the two, Pak Rahmat one of the Megantara family drivers came out to invite Arsen and Bianca to go inside.

"Sir Mercy, we go to the hospital***** now," Arsen ordered.

The middle-aged man nodded. "Yes, Den Arsen."

Bianca was silent, she stared out the car glass. The sky that afternoon seemed overcast, just like the circumstances that surrounded him now. Nothing has changed from this city, it has been a year he did not set foot in Surabaya.

Arsen looked at Bianca who was next to him, the woman was silent with blank eyes. Lying if he was not worried about Bianca, the woman collapsed on her way to the airport. Arsen knew the woman must have been devastated considering Bianca only had her mother. He had no one else but the middle-aged woman.

Arsen clasped Bianca's cold hand, implying that everything would be fine. Honestly, Arsen misses Bianca's naggy side. He hated to see the woman's lethargic and crying face.

The white Audi car entered the hospital area, Bianca asked Mr. Grace to stop the car. Without the ba-bi-bu, he went straight out. His chest felt tight, he could not wait to meet his mother in the ICU room.

Arsen again clasped Bianca's hand when her footsteps were level with the woman, she was afraid that Bianca would faint like a few hours ago.

The two stopped in front of the ICU room, a middle-aged woman in a simple suit sitting on a waiting chair. Slowly Bianca approaches the woman she believes is Bu Dya, her next door neighbor. "Mom Dya" he called.

The middle-aged woman looked up with a puffy face, her cries suddenly breaking upon seeing Bianca. His thin hands clasped Bianca's free hands, his lips trembled trying to apologize for not being able to keep the mandate to keep the Goddess - Mother Bianca.

"Sorry Mother can not take care of the Goddess, Bi," said Bu Dya interrupted by crying.

Bianca smiled faintly, although her eyes could not lie if she was struck by a bitter feeling. "Mother's inside, Mom?" bianca asked as she glanced at the closed ICU room. The woman nodded in response.

Bianca and Arsen go inside without Bu Dya because visitors are a maximum of two people. Bianca walked closer towards the gurney that belonged to the mother, the middle-aged woman closed her eyes. His father's face looked thin and pale, he grasped the fingers of the Goddess. Bianca kissed gently the back of her mother's hand, in her heart she did not stop chanting prayers for the healing of the Mother.

Arsen stroked Bianca's back which did not stop shaking, the woman continued to cry incessantly. Today Arsen can see the other side of Bianca Almeera Anatasya, he can feel the fragility of the woman.

The clock kept turning, Bianca did not move in place. Arsen continued to persuade the woman to have dinner. Because today Bianca only eats two pieces of cheesecake, she will not let the woman get sick.

"Bi, eat first" whispered Arsen.

"If you're hungry, you can eat by yourself. I want to be here looking after Mom" Bianca replied without looking at Arsen.

"Bi, you have to eat. You'll be sick later" said Arsen.

Bianca shook her head stubbornly. "I don't want to, Arsen. I don't eat."

Arsen had no other choice but to forcefully pull Bianca out of the ICU room, both walking down the fairly deserted hospital corridor. Bianca tried to rebel, but Arsen's hand was getting stronger.

"Take me off, Arsen!" bianca firmly, she jerked her hand violently from the Arsenic check. In one jolt, his right hand escaped.

"I don't want to eat, how can I expect to see Mom critically?" Bianca moved away as Arsen began to approach her.

"If you are sick, the business will be longer. You have to eat" said Arsen not to lose. "Last noon you fainted, you're weak, Bi. You need to eat."

"Do you care, Arsen?!" bianca said with a voice rising several octaves.

Arsen approached, holding Bianca's fingers. "I care about you, Bi. If I don't care I'm sure you're going alone to Surabaya by train."

Bianca flinched hearing the shocking confession from Arsen. "I beg you to fill your stomach, I don't want you to get sick" whispered Arsen slowly. Seeing Bianca not responding, he led her to the hospital canteen.

The hospital canteen is quite crowded. After ordering two servings of fried rice and sweetened iced tea, the two ate in silence. The jet-black eye bead did not stop highlighting intensely towards the woman beside it. Until Bianca's raucous voice broke the silence on that table.

"I'm sorry, I was being rude" Bianca said softly barely in a whisper. "I only have a mother, Arsen. I don't have anyone else, Dad left me and Mom with his love. If you're going to leave me...." Bianca could not continue her words, she closed her mouth trying not to sob.

Arsen hugged Bianca, she stroked the woman's brunette hair gently. "You're not alone, Bi. You got me, Bianca," whispered Arsen reassuringly.
