Hello, Ex

Hello, Ex
Chapter 13

Salma ran small out of the room, down the stairs, carrying a red face like a crab ready to eat away from the Word.

"Stupid! You idiot! I could be acting this cheap! What—dia thinks I'm doing the same with another guy! Jeez Salma, istighfar!" He tried to control himself, pulling his mind to be sane.

Salma was already standing at the bottom of the stairs, busy hitting her head with her right hand, angry and annoyed at herself.

The sound of bells ringing made him flinch. "I'm sorry the shop isn't open yet!" salma said without looking at the figure who had just entered the tavern. His feet actually approached the dining table, intending to clean the dirty dishes that had been used for breakfast. In the middle of the movement of Salma's hands, who was busy cleaning the dirty dishes, Salma's body suddenly stiffened and realized the figure of the man standing behind the door. A smile appeared on the man's lips. A pair of their eyeballs were rubbed. Until the greeting sound, managed to attract Salma awareness.

"Hi, Salma how are you, Ex?"

Jesus, um Endra? A—ada what? Ko—kok, can the hell he be here?! Ta—hu from where is the address of this store! Thought Salma. His gaze turned blank, suddenly his memories of a year ago flashed in his memories. Cheating until you have kids, that's what Endra's doing behind her. Brutal, right?

"Can I sit down—I will wait until the store opens," Endra continued when he did not hear any answer from Salma.

What Salma wanted to do was run to the second floor, hiding behind the back of the Word. But at this time, his leg bones seemed to malfunction, he could only sculpt with his eyes constantly focusing on Endra.

"Si—please, Mas!" Salma replied with trembling lips. He hoped that by this time the Word was sound, not knowing that Endra had come to visit. He did not want a fight between Sabda and Endra.

The man smiled wryly, then stepped towards the bench that was in the corner of the room.

Salma rushed to finish the task, lucky one male employee named Biyan immediately came, the man immediately helped Salma prepare the coffee beans into the jar.

"Bak Ma, where's Aruni going?" Biyan asked when she did not see Aruni.

"Kayae to market. It hasn't appeared yet." Salma replied softly, she did not want the chatter of the two of them to be heard by Endra. "Please, serve the man!" His orders after the coffee is ready to be blended.

"The rich man seems to be his mbak—style aja kek. The shoes I wear can be bought with my work for two weeks."

"Udah hunted, the buyer is king—layani him well!" Salma Pinta.

Biyan then passed, the man did not put any suspicion on Salma's behavior at all. He kindly served Endra.

"I want black coffee. Same please take a message to Salma, if I want to talk. Can you?" Endra replied after hearing the male servant's question beside him.

Biyan glanced at Salma, the woman had just climbed the second floor. Considering Salma was still wearing batik pajamas, surely the woman was about to clean up.

"It seems, Sister Salma is again getting ready. Later if he has come down, let me order him to meet his mas." Biyan responds well to Endra's request, knowing that Salma is a widow, so she is free to date anyone.

Endra smiled faintly while nodding his head. Accompanying the steps of the servant who had come to him. His goal in meeting Salma was to explain everything to the woman. He had to be honest in order to reclaim Salma's heart. What is a LEGIT divorce? Considering he himself was never present in the trial process.

Soon enough, a pitch-black coffee was served on the table. Endra looked closely at the coffee. The bitter aroma was immediately sererenaded flirting with his stomach that wanted to immediately enjoy. He blew his hot steam and took a slow sip.

"Mama Ma! You want to talk to me!"

Endra turned to the stairs to hear the sound. Endra saw that Salma had changed her clothes, she was wearing an apron attached to her body. The woman had changed into a typical tavern uniform.

"I have to work, Mom. So I don't have time! Next time."

"For a second, I need some privacy."

Salma glanced towards Biyan. Tried to signal if he gave up the full situation of the tavern to the man.

"Look easy. Safe Ma'am!" Biyan responded, inviting Salma to exit the store. "Please go!"

Salma hoped Sabda would not wake up and see her walk with Endra. And make everyone misunderstand. Salma's feet stepped first, leading Endra out of the tavern.

There is no definite purpose, they just step through the beach. Try listening to the sound of the waves that feel soothing. Endra walked slowly, parallel to Salma's steps.

"How are you, Sal?!" Ask Endra to start talking.

"Thank God, as I see." Salma answered briefly.

"Which I see you're fine. But the wound in your heart, has it healed completely?"

"Time has run a year. Every day, I try to make peace with my life. There is no point in regretting what happened. I just want to fix myself. Focus on Ody and how he can make money. And thank God, slowly and surely I can forget that I ever fell in love with you."

Forgot to fall for me? Is it that easy to forget me? Thought Endra. But his arrival was not to demand the return of love from Salma. That can be discussed later.

"Are you ready to hear my explanation?"

"What explanation?!"

"I'm not guilty of you, by a decision that immediately handed the divorce papers to the court. All women will do the same thing you did to me. For the future I want to start everything with seriousness. I realize I love you, Sal!"

Salma looked directly into Endra's eyes. Stifled steps.

"Yes, I love you, Salma. Every night I miss you, I'm fragile, I don't live my life."

Salma. What is Endra like? "Didn't Mas Endra have a beautiful wife? Why should I come after me again? Love what you have, knowing after you lose it hurts a lot, Mas."

"Salma, my relationship with that woman only lasted three months. I dropped the talaq forty days after I came to my senses. That baby is not my flesh and blood, I am not his real father. You have to trust me, please!"

"Did Mas Endra ever sleep with her?!"

Endra's face turned pias, hearing the question. "Well, I repeat again; did Endra ever sleep with that woman?" Salma asked in a firm voice.

"Yes, I've been."

Salma smiled bitterly, as if to thank Endra for the wounds he had given her. "And now? Did you mean to come to Endra to see me just to invite a reference? Do you know I hate traitors the most?!"
