The warm air in the afternoon did not make Isabelle's heart feel that warmth, instead the cold air was like bandaging her body.

"Well, I'd say if this baby of yours is an asset, one day you can use this kid to get sympathy from our family, you're so smart, Isabelle!"

Hearing Monique's words clearly made the mother of the baby very surprised and offended. Isabelle immediately picks up baby Michael from Monique's arms.

"My baby has nothing to do with your family, so you can calm down and I hope you don't interfere with my life anymore!" isabelle, of course, fears that her ex-husband knows that Michael is her flesh and blood.

"You might be able to fool my brother but not me, I don't know why you're hiding this secret, are you setting up a time bomb?" monique asked as she took out a folded paper from inside her bag.

Monique opened the sheet of paper and looked at the contents of the writing inside. "This little baby DNA is the same as my brother's DNA, Michael Aringwyn or Michael Xander is Jake's son and he's also my nephew" he said with a wry smile.

Isabelle's fear is growing yawning she does not know how Monique can uncover it easily even though she has tried her hardest to hide the secret about the baby.

There is no other way, he does not want Michael to be a victim of his relationship with the Xander family, especially if the ex-husband realizes that there is a part of him that has been born from a woman he hates.

It hurts so much to imagine Michael being rejected by his own father and family. That's why he doesn't want everyone to know that Michael is the son and grandson of a famous family.

Jake confronts Sean Wood hoping to get information about Isabelle from the man.

Not without reason, he thinks Sean is close enough to his ex-wife after seeing them at her wedding.

Sean and Isabelle look familiar in Jake's eyes, that night they may come together to a party - it's what Jake thinks.

But it seems like Jake knows that all by himself. Sean also does not quite understand Isabelle's attitude which seems to not want anyone to know about her baby.

"Where do you know that?" sean asked just to make sure if the friend knew the truth.

"I saw it for myself" answered Jake.

Sean can only take a breath, if it's like that he can no longer keep the deal with Isabelle because Jake has already revealed it.

"That's right" Sean replied and it was enough to make Jake feel even more upset.

"So he didn't want everyone to know because it's for the sake of keeping the reputation of your company that doesn't hire women who have small children" Sean replied, at least that's what he talked about with Isabelle.

Jake is silent, maybe it has a point but still he can't lie to himself and thinks that there are still other secrets Isabelle hides from him.

"Do you know who the baby's father is?" This time Jake can't be patient anymore, he hopes to find answers from Sean.

"I don't know, Isabelle didn't reveal that. He didn't even talk about who he was married to." Jake is not satisfied with the answer from his friend.

It was obvious Isabelle was a really bad lying woman. It felt like he wanted to forget the woman, but why did fate still make them meet?

"I'm surprised you're asking, you never know how he's behaved all this time? She was a good-natured girl." Sean looked as if he was thinking of the past.

Jake admits it because he never once paid attention to Isabelle when she, Sean and Issac were friends.

To her the younger sister of her friends was an ordinary daughter. No different than his own brother. That's why Jake never once paid any attention to Isabelle in the past.

What he had to do now because the only thing that stuck in his mind was the handsome little baby-Michael who was able to make his instincts as a man appear just like that.

He felt close and his feelings warmed up when he met the baby even if it was just one time.

"She just said that the baby was the son of her ex-husband" said Sean, who managed to make Jake more short of breath.
