CHAPTER 10

"Nrt ..." I screamed as a hand gripped my shoulder.

"Why are you, Via?"

I opened my eyes, and breathed a sigh of relief after knowing that it was Aunt Sumi.

"Why are you daydreaming in front of the gate?" ask again.

I rubbed my nape. "No pa-pa, ma'am. Oh yes, Mum. I saw a girl who had just come out of this room. Is he a resident of this inn too? I have never seen it."

"No, he's my son's friend."

I'm mangosteen. "What's Tara's name, Mom?" ask me to dare so I can make sure that it's really Tara or not.

Aunt Sumi stared at me for a long time. "Name Vienna."

Looks like he's gonna make a mockery of me. But before that happened, Gea got in the way.

"Udah, not pa-pa, Nilam. What the hell are you calling me?"

"Gue wants something the same. But ... just between you and me," I explained, staring cynically at Nilam, hoping he caught my signal to leave.

"What the hell if there's me? That problem?" chirps Nilam.

"Yes. Because my business is the same Gea, not the same lo" I said.

Nilam glared at me sharply. I could hear his breath burning. With his hands folded, he approached me. Raising his chin as if he was challenging me. "Want to make a fuss with me?"

"Stop it! You guys don't fight. I don't know what your problems are." Gea tried to hold Nilam back and looked at us in turn. If asked what my problem is with Nilam, I don't know. Nilam must have been looking for trouble first, because he thought I wanted to take Raefal away from him. Though it was obvious that Raefal was always chasing me.

"It's certain that you ..." He's staring. "If anyone wants to talk now. We have class soon."

I took a long breath. "Okay, so just go straight. Are you two Rose's friends?"

"You know where it came from?"

"Well, where did you know?" They answered simultaneously.

"You don't need to know where I'm from. I just want it, does Rose have enemies on campus?"

"Step, huh!" cut Nilam. "The death of the rose is mysterious. No one knows the cause. And elo new kid here .. know about Roses? It may have something to do with the death of the Rose!" accuse him while pointing his index finger right in front of my face.

"Gue tau of ..." I'm silent for a moment. Now Nilam and Gea looked at me suspiciously. Shit, why am I being accused?

"From the Roses" I hesitated.

"Elo don't hang on, deh!" disprove Nilam.

"Serious cave!" my firmness.

"We don't have to listen to this strange child's words." Nilam pulls Gea's arm.

"Hey, who did you say was a weird kid?" my protest. It's been to how many times Nilam has called me a freak. Of course I don't accept. But Nilam ignored my words, and so did Gea. They just left me. Now what am I supposed to do for Rose, how can I help her if her two friends can't trust me?

I sat with my legs stretched straight ahead while leaning against the ceramic wall. Yeah, right now I prefer to spend hours resting inside the women's restroom located in the management faculty along with ... Roses. We were both preoccupied with our own thoughts.

"What do we do if Nilam and Gea don't believe in you?" The rose opened the conversation.

I put my shoulders down.

"Is there no way they can trust you?"

I put my shoulders back again.

"Why is the response just that doang? You're trying to help me, aren't you?" ask the Roses.

"Gue was thinking too" I said a little lazily. Yeah, I was half intent on helping him.

Suddenly I was shocked by the sound of the toilet door opening. Spontaneously I woke up when I knew who was coming. Turns out Gea, he went inside the toilet while making a wander outside. It's like keeping the situation safe.

"Gea, why are you here?"

Gea narrowed her eyes. "Can't I go to the toilet? Is this a public place?"

"Yes, anyway. But, you're so weird. I'm afraid someone might know you're here."

"I'm just afraid Nilam knows that I'm looking for you again."

"Why are you looking for me?"

He walked slowly towards me. "We haven't met before, have we?" the question is accompanied by a smile. "My name is Gea."

"You know," I replied.

"But I don't know you yet. Our first meeting was not yet known."

"My name is Livia, call Via aja."

"Okay, Via. Just go ahead, I'm looking for you because I'm curious about what you said." Gea looked at me seriously.

"About Roses?"

Gea nodded her head. "Where do you know?"

"I told you about the rose."

"But the rose is ..." Gea did not continue his words.

"Yes I know. I mean, I know from the spirit of the Rose. Also, he's next to you" pointed me to the side of Gea standing. Of course Gea turned his head in the direction I was pointing. The smiling rose saw Gea, but Gea could not see her friend. "He was smiling."

I sat back against the ceramic wall of the toilet in that position. Because it looks like I'll take a long time to tell you everything. Gea sat down beside me. So did the Rose who sat beside him without Gea's knowledge. Of course Gea doesn't know, he can't see the rose.
